Exterior shot of the box- enjoyed at home

Wow, seriously delicious chocolate and a very nice café space as well. We stopped in here after visiting Antimony Brewing across the street. This chocolate bar had an inviting space with chairs and tables as well as an assortment of retail chocolates. There are many small chocolate lollipops, chocolate covered marshmallows and chocolate covered nuts that can easily be picked up from displays. Counter service for the the boxes and larger baked goods including some luscious looking cheese cakes and cookies. We brought home a box of chocolate and enjoyed it with Pama liqueur. Very high quality chocolate- the box was over $35 with tax but so worth it!

I love this place! The desserts are amazing. The panna cotta is especially delicious, so creamy and flavorful. It's a charming café and chocolate shop, and the service was great. I'll definitely be coming back for more tasty treats.

Exquisite selection of chocolates! Not only were they visually impressive but the the flavors were just decadent.

This place was so much fun to browse. It smelled phenomenal when you walk in. We came in for coffees and a piece of the vanilla cheesecake with chocolate graham cracker crust. The cheesecake was so creamy. We came back the next day to get souvenirs to take home to our kids. If you love chocolate this is paradise

The chocolate is terrific and the service is attentive. There are so many choices of pre made treats we had trouble choosing.

What a great place to stop for a coffee on a long drive. Of course, you cannot leave without some chocolate. And you really shouldn't.

The chocolates and cakes here are works of art - both visually and to taste. Great cozy mellow vibe too.

I love their breakfast which was what we had on our most recent trip. My kids had the chocolate chip pancakes and demolished them quickly. They both said they were the best pancakes ever. I had the croissant French toast which was decadent but not too filling, a lovely breakfast. My husband had their special, pancakes with fresh peaches and mascarpone and he definitely had the best dish, tons of fresh peaches. The first latte I had was so good that I also got another to go. We also grabbed some baked goods for the road which was an awesome decision. Staff was super friendly and the restaurant is so lovely. Will be back for sure.

You can also sit outside Order, pay, get your number and sit down. We had the special which was a sweet potato chorizo hash with poached eggs and hollandaise - honestly the chorizo lacked flavor and was not spicy enough to counteract the sweetness of the potatoes. We also had the huevos rancheros which were sublime. Nicely spiced black bean/chili sat atop a corn tortilla, eggs, avocado sour cream ..etc. Also had the famous morning glory muffin - two cappuccinos. It's pricey but worth it! We will be back

If I could give ALTA Restaurant & Wine Bar more than five stars, I would. The pork cheeks may have…read morebeen the best meal I've ever had--perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and packed with flavor. Every bite was unforgettable. What made the experience even more special was the hospitality. After the Tanglewood concert on a Sunday night, the staff recognized that many concertgoers were looking for a place to eat and graciously stayed open later to accommodate everyone. That level of customer service is rare and speaks volumes about how much they care about their guests. Outstanding food, exceptional hospitality, and an experience I'll be talking about for a long time. I can't wait to come back.

A Valentine's dinner that did not impress!…read more Valentine's has always been a very special holiday for me. My husband and I decided to spend the weekend in the Berkshires, which was lovely and quiet. I made reservations ahead of time for this highly rated wine bar and very close to where we were staying. First off, due to the previous weather/storms they had no street parking. But luckily we parked in a nearby lot. Upon arrival, the restaurant bar area was very nice and romantic. The server brought us to our table but I was a bit disappointed in the ambiance. I mean the bar area was a bit darker and the table that we were being seated at had a lot of light. Now, don't get me wrong, It was Valentine's day which screams romantic and there was no romantic vibe to this restaurant. After mentioning this to our server she did move us and turned down the lights a bit which was much better. Food/Drinks: The menu was not big at all which was nice. I ordered a dirty martini to start which needed more olive juice and my husband ordered a rum cocktail which he enjoyed. For starters, I ordered their Over Roasted Parsnip which was very good and filling. My husband had their Beet Salad which he said was excellent. For entrees, I had their Seared Duck Breast. I really enjoyed the caramel sauce but did not love the duck itself. My husband had the Oven Roasted Chicken Statler which was very dry he could barley eat it. Also, since this is a wine bar I will say the wines were nothing special which was also a bit disappointing. I wish they had something unique and special to offer especially being on a Valentine's Day. I feel this place may be more of a summer destination. Service: Service was excellent I will say. Our server was always asking how things were, checking on us and if we needed anything and asking about any additional drinks. etc. Also, the Manager came over to ask how everything was but he spefically looked at me. I think my husband would've mentioned his meal being dry if he looked at him as well but my husband could've spoken up too. We did say something to our server after she asked about the chicken dish, which they ended up taken off the bill which was very nice. Overall: I didn't love Alta Wine Bar my first time here, but I would come back in the spring or summer months when the weather is warm to try it again. Cheers~

Pizza party @ Boema!…read more After searching high and low to find a good restaurant for pizza in the area we found Pizzeria Boema. They mentioned that they are closed normally on Sundays but they opened for school vacation...Yipee! Decor is classic Italian with a large bar and pizza oven looking right at you. We sat at the bar and ordered some drinks along with their wood fired garlic cheese bread. Kasey our bartender was extremely nice and conversational. She suggested a few of her faves! We also ordered the Polpette pizza xtra crispy. The restaurant was extremely crowded with families due to school vacation. You can tell its a popular neighborhood spot. The garlic cheese bread came out and it looked more like a mini pizza, but still delicious with the marinara sauce on the side. Afterwards, the Pizza came out and although not as crispy or well done as we would like, it was still good. We were full but had to look at the dessert menu because how could you not. Kasey recommended the Pistachio Risotto Cake and boy was it worth it. Actually to die for! Flavorful, soft and a delicious way to end a perfect meal. If you are ever in the Berkshires and trying to find a great pizzeria look no further than Boema, its the place for good conversations, excellent food and the perfect service! Cheers~

There were 6 of us so we ordered two appetizers- white bean antipasto and the olives. Both came with pita like bread. The white bean antipasto was interesting - we were all expecting more of a dip than just whole beans which were a bit difficult to eat on the bread, unlike a spreadable dip. We got a few pizzas as well for the main course which were all delicious. Highly recommend stopping here if you're in the area and are craving some pizza in a fun atmosphere.
