I had the bumper replaced here, and the work came out to be terrible. Everyone could tell that it had been replaced. The color was off, and the bumper was misplaced. However, the owner, Mr. Choi was very proud of his work and kept telling me that he waived the deductible for me. Who pays for a deductible if it is the other driver's fault? The side door trim of my MDX fell off. The trim is ablout 2 inch wide and 2 feet long, made of a thick, stiff rubber. This does not cause any problem in running, but will give lots of noise when the car is running at a high speed. Since this is a small fixing job, I was looking for the auto body shop that could fix it happily regardless of the size of the job. I know that some auto shops treat nicely only when you bring a big job. The owner of choice auto body appears a right type of the guy that I looked for. He carefully checked the piece fell off and gave the instruction thoughtfully to his mechanic. He was willing to communicate with me if there was any need for it. The reason I went to shop was because the at fault driver's mother wanted to get my estimate here because she is a friend of the owner. The establishment is pretty small and is surrounded with other auto body shops. When I arrived there I was greeted by the receptionist and offered me a seat while we waited for the estimator. The whole estimate process was pleasant and quick. However the whole situation turned sour when owner arrived at the shop. He neither greeted me nor gave me his name. The owner immediately spoke to the mother and started to point. When I tried to talk to him he completely ignored me like I didn't exist. Once they finished chatting he requested the both of us to come inside and sit down. My thoughts were great we can sit and talk like civilized people. However I found that he was conspiring with the driver. Together they pressured me take her cash offer of $200 less than estimated damage, which I thought was really f-ed up. Not only they offered me less money they tried to convince me to repair my car at the same shop also. Stating that there is no reason to report the accident to her insurance company. Soon after the actual at fault driver showed up and start to talk to the mom. To make a long story short we will fast forward 30 minutes later. The scene is 3 people yelling at me consisting of the mother, driver/daughter, and the owner. Over the damaged caused by her backing into me. They tried to say that the some of the damage was not from her. However I have picture before and after the accident. All of these incidences that included the owner of the shop are the reason I rate this only one star. I wish I could rate it lower but it's not possible like a non biased conversation with the owner. If you are in an accident and the other party recommends to you to this shop, I would stay far from it. You will receive biased and very unpleasant service. read more

I had a wonderful experience at Choice Auto Body. My older SUV was totalled by a wrong-way hit-and-run drunk driver (who after fleeing in his car and then on foot was discovered to have no insurance, registration or license, multiple DUIs on his record, an injured passenger, and of course faces exactly zero repercussions/consequences in California) and I decided to fix my old, beloved SUV. The repair was a significant job, and Mr. Choi was entirely transparent and honest about the whole process. He even had me sit next to him as he ordered the replacement parts (there were many, many parts to procure), choosing OEM parts for the "weight-bearing" frame sections, and aftermarket, but still quality, for the "aesthetic" parts. He was cheerful throughout the six-week process, and did a phenomenal job. The paint on the new portions looks wonderful and melds seamlessly with the older parts of the car. My ancient car runs well again! I cannot recommend his work highly enough, and am thinking of taking another older car to him for some minor body work. A friend of mine went and had her Porsche fixed and the burgundy color came out really beautifully. I was impressed with the end result and the workmanship on her rear bumper. So naturally, when my son's Lexus was rear ended I took the car there. The owner insisted on using only the original parts, not after market like adjuster wanted ( I absolutely could not believe the adjuster almost insisted on this). After initially inspection, they discovered more damages after removing the bumper. I received email and picture to show the damages. The owner arranged the rental for me so the car was waiting for me at his shop so I did not have to go to the rental place. This made things so much easier for me. The black color is hardest match of all colors and it came out so beautifully. Even my son was impressed. It was shinny and perfectly matched with rest of the car. I only wish I had an extra cash to paint the whole car. He was a very professional, sincere and explains procedures in detail and truly cared for his client. read more

Just like previous reviewer this place is messed up and not afraid to fraud harmless customers like us. After reparing my 2003 Honda accord from this shop I noticed that my fule door wouldn't open and my trunk did not open on the first try. After making appointment to fix the car... I had to wait for more than hour and nothing was done. Owner ignored me as previous user stated and was rude as well. Since I wasn't happy with their service and I coudn't open the fuel door I took my car to other bodyshop where I found out that CHOICE AUTO did not replace parts that should have replaced (rear bumer) And person from other bodyshop didn't want to touch that.... I was about to let it pass but just the fact that I don't want any of you guys to suffer same way I did. Also I noticed that this Owner Dong Suk Choi has been arrested for insurance fraud.. i wonder... Minus one billion star for this guy. read more
