I have to take a minute to give these hard working guys credit where credit is due! After multiple, very disappointing experiences with the GMC dealer here in Tempe I said never again. I brought my Denali to choice auto and my service and experience was excellent! I came to them a year or two back with my older Lexus and the same experience then. My check engine light was on, so I brought it in to see what was going on. Turns out, since my car is from CA, it was on because it would have failed the smog test. Since Arizona has no smog test, which they told me, I didn't need to get it fixed. It would have required replacing the parts responsible for the smog test, about $750 each, but since I'm not going to California, they said I didn't have to do the repair if I didn't want to. They only billed me for the labor costs, and that was very cheap at just $50. I highly recommend you go to this place for repairs or even to just see what's up with your car. read more

Choice Auto Repair did such an amazing job with my car. I was having a problem with the AC in my Nissan Sentra. Brought it in one morning and they called me within hours to tell me what was going on. It was a case of in-expensive parts, but they had to disassemble most of my car! They were completely honest about how long they expected the work to take, and recommended that I take my car to a dealership if I had any kind of a warranty. They allowed me to keep my car there until my part arrived (Tuesday - Friday) and had my car done by Friday afternoon as promised! Everyone was very friendly, and they took the time to explain (and make sure I understood!) exactly what was happening. I was told by the car dealership that I needed new brakes - that was 6 months ago. Choice was recommended to me by a close friend so I thought, what the heck, I must really need new brakes now! Took it in for an oil change and brakes. They called me about an hour later only to inform me that I DID NOT need new breaks! What??? That's awesome! But after my experience with them, I will certainly return for any of my auto needs. My favorite part was when I first checked in for my scheduled appointment my car did not sit in the same place that I parked it before they took it back, it was within the 1st 2 minutes. Although, they were not able to find where my AC was leaking during this visit, they did recharge the system with Dye and told me to come back if I have any more issues. When it comes to choosing a shop to work on your car, it needs to be taken as serious as choosing a doctor. Todays cars are extremely complex and difficult to work on. Came in for a last minute issue with my power steering fluid, as well as a few other minor problems. The service via phone was quick, friendly and they really tried everything to make sure i felt like i was making the right choice by making my appointment there. They do not charge anything to look at the issue at hand, then let you know what needs to be done after. They had my car in and out within a couple of hours despite their lot being completely full. Not only this, but they gave me a ride to work in the company car.
