The place is packed all day

YGF Malatang definitely lives up to the hype! The restaurant was packed, but the atmosphere still felt clean, lively, and welcoming. I really enjoyed how customizable everything was, from the fresh ingredients to the different noodle choices, it made the experience fun and personal. The broth was the highlight for me: rich, flavorful, and comforting without being overly heavy. We got #1 which is classic herbal it's not that spicy as they say more on the light mild spicy. However, #6 has no spice at all, so it's perfect for the kids. We got the chicken broth for them with their favorite udon noodles (there's so many types of noodles.) We paid around $45 with two bowls, it honestly fed my family of 4 and my daughter can eat, eat! :P You can really taste the quality in the food. Service was also smooth and efficient despite how busy it was, and the staff kept things moving quickly. Overall, one of the best malatang spots I've been to so far. Great food, great ambience, and perfect for anyone who loves building their own bowl exactly how they want it. Ps. If you do a review here or Google they will give you a cute magnet or keychain in which my daughter got so she's very happy with her tiny noodle magnet.

Oh YGF, how I love this place. No matter how packed it gets, I'm still coming back. Even though I visit often, I wanted to share one of my recent experiences because it really stood out. You get to customize your own bowl here, choosing whatever ingredients you like along with your soup base and spice level, which I absolutely love. I came with a party of six on a super busy day, and the place was absolutely slammed. When we received our food, I noticed my broth had been switched--I had ordered tom yum, but I received beef bone broth instead. I brought it up to the staff, and they immediately apologized and took care of it without any hesitation. Even though they were clearly overwhelmed with customers lining out the door, they handled everything so kindly and professionally. After they corrected the broth and brought my malatang back, the manager even came by several times to check on our table. It wasn't necessary, but it was such a thoughtful touch and really made us feel cared for. Overall, amazing food and even better service, especially considering how busy they were that day. Definitely one of my go-to spots.

Great options and lots of seating space compared to the other YGF locations! My partner and I love the malatang here

the food was fresh and there were a lot of options! lots of options in the sauce bar too. very clean inside. almost always busy. you can get all of your chosen ingredients in a soup base or stir fried. i definitely recommend trying both! you can't really go wrong here! i would definitely come again.

Tldr: goto hotpot in the area. Tomato soup is my fave! They also have Boba Ambience: lots of seating but nearly not enough during the rush! Its very clean and organize. The seats are not my favorite, I prefer sitting in the booth. Service: super quick. Friendly, and helpful when you ask questions about anything! Food: I love the soup!!! I usually get tomato soup and I can't try anything else I'm stuck in tomato for now. It's 14.99/lb. Halal/veggie soup options if ur in a group and worried. You can also adjust the spice level.

Very good!! Boba and malatong. Join the waitlist for peak dinner. I didn't have a wait. Don't get too much. Pay by weight but lots of options

This is a malatang franchise located in a strip mall of Tukwila, close to the Westfield mall. It was packed when we visited, but we were seated right away. Malatang was essentially premade hotpot. You pick the items from the fridge and they boil it for you in the soup base of your choice. They have none spicy soup base and they will customize the salt level if you ask. Ingredients were fresh and costs $14.99 per pound which was a steal. Very family friendly and parking is outside.

food: can't go wrong with malatang! had it 3x in a span of a week LOL! i will say the soup portion is pretty inconsistent. it hit everytime though, super flavorful service: it STAYS PACKED. i'm not from the area, and malatang back home is never as busy. takes a while for your food to be ready, but not bad ambiance: plenty of seating, but sometimes it gets so packed that u have to wait

YGF MalaTang is the perfect place to stop by during a quick lunch break. I love how easy it is to customize and order whatever you want here. This time around I brought my boyfriend to try it out. He isn't the biggest fan of pay by the pound, especially for hot pot places like YGF. However, we both did fairly well with how many ingredients we added in. I kept mine under a pound. His was under two pounds. It wasn't too busy when we visited, so we were able to snag a table without any issues. I will be coming back again!

Perfect comfort food! This place is a gem for cold days. You pick your ingredients and pay by the pound, so there's zero waste and 100% satisfaction. They have a huge variety of ingredients from fresh greens to seafood and specialty noodles. The Sour & Sweet Tomato base is a must-try--the broth is so rich and flavorful. For those who like something a bit more adventurous and spicy, the Tom Yum is a great choice. The restaurant is spotless, the service is welcoming, and the self-serve sauce station is a great bonus. Highly recommended for a clean and delicious customized hot pot experience!

First time trying this place outside of Asia! Authentic quality and great service. Some of the topping I like from Asian location wasn't available in this location unfortunately. Veggie was fresh and broth was good. What was outstanding was their service. I never Ever receive this quality of service often in seattle but this place especially from cashier lady today at the closing time! She was smiling whole time and answered all my questions with perfect manner! I am definitely coming back again :) Also if you can handle Asian spicy in Asia usually, go for above Hot!

I love YGF. If you haven't tried malatang then give this place a try. It's always crowded, but we're always able to find a seat somehow. You pick out what food you'd like in your soup from the fridge and then you choose a soup when you pay. You pay by weight and the bowl is tared. I'd recommend getting the beef bone broth which is super flavorful and has a slight kick.

While searching for places to eat, we found Fortune Casino and loved the menu we saw (especially since so many places were closed by the point of midnight). There's an abundant array of tables inside and the ambience is definitely more on the divey side. Service was solid - the workers really took care of us - and the food was amazing. We ordered the following: - Pork Belly: DELICIOUS. An absolute heavy hitter after traveling. - Wings with garlic butter: Immaculate and so so tasty. We didn't know what to expect from this one but it changed our lives, haha. This place is 24 hours, so I highly highly recommend dropping by if you're in the area. The quality of the different Asian dishes here is amazing and it's definitely legit (this place puts all the Vegas casinos with "Asian" restaurants to shame!). Can't wait to return here!

This location is a bit smaller, but the food was a lot faster. There is no sushi bar at this location. I ordered the beef pho and spring rolls. The bartender was friendly and even made me an unsweetened iced tea, by brewing a cup of hot tea for me, then icing it. The location is quite convenient for the area, the inside was a bit crowded and noisy, but it was a Saturday night. The bar area was tidy and there were a good number of seats open. The food took under 20 minutes to come out and was above average in taste and quality. We just went for food, I would recommend this place for their pho and spring rolls.

The restaurant is clean, well maintained, and provides excellent customer service. The owner is welcoming and genuinely cares about guests' dining experiences, while the food is consistently well presented and full of flavor. Some of my favorite dishes include the salted fish fried rice, stir-fried crab with ginger and green onion, salt & pepper prawns, and the crab maw soup, which comes in a generous portion that's perfect for sharing. Their dim sum is also a highlight, with a wonderful selection available during the morning and afternoon. Everything I've had from the dim sum carts has been fresh and delicious. The reason for my 4-star rating is a few inconsistencies with takeout orders. On a couple of occasions, the shumai in my to-go order was undercooked. I've also found that certain menu items, such as fried rice, aren't available early in the day because only the dim sum kitchen is open until the main kitchen starts service. While I understand the kitchen schedule, it can be confusing if you're expecting the full menu. Even with those minor issues, this restaurant continues to be one of my favorite places for Cantonese cuisine, and I'll gladly keep coming back.

Service is chaotic -- you literally have to flag servers down for anything and just hope they remember. The bathroom situation was also disappointing. Only 1 out of the 3 stalls was available, the lock didn't work properly, and the "hand soap" turned out to be shower gel. Definitely not the experience we were hoping for. I'm starting to realize maybe the old school Dim sum cart isn't the way for us anymore.

But for those in the know, Triumph Valley is really known for their dim sum menu! Off the beaten path, you have to take State Highway 167, as its just south of the large IKEA store. But definitely a culinary landmark if you are a constant diner of Chinese cuisine, and dim sum afficianado. There are only three dim sum, or dumpling lunch providers in or around the City of Renton (technically two). This is one of them, and if you are not early, it can get really crowded, especially on weekends. But the staff bravely soldiers-on with their dilligent service. The restaurant's ambiance takes advantage of its interior with strategic lighting in their dining hall. Very utilitarian, while trying to ensure a little bit of style. They also modernize the experience with electronic waiting and ordering system on portable touch screens. It actually helps the service. No paper. As for me, my focus is on the dim sum. All of my favorites are there. And, as diner of one, it was hard not to want to order everything. So, I ordered the "basics" of a dim sum lunch. One order of Shiu Mai, one order of Har Gow, and one order steamed BBQ Pork. It was pretty much all you need along with an order of tea, as well as a Diet Coke to wash it all down. There were other traditional dim sum selections, but I knew my tummy (and wallet) wouldn't absorb it all - as much as I would have liked. Steamed beancurd sheets, beef meatballs, steamed sticky rice in banana leaves... chicken feet, it was all there. The best way is to make a plan, and invite lots of freinds to make sure you can try EVERYTHING! Yes, there are other menu items, like I said, but for Dim Sum dining in Renton, this is the place!!!!
