At the end of September, I brought my wife's watch in for a new battery. They can't just replace it, it has to go to Miami for evaluation and cleaning. It is now three months later, and still, no watch. I have called many times. Being told they are working on it. Getting the run around. This is totally unacceptable. How many people does it take to change a battery? Use your imagagination. read more

Interesting to read the older posts--not my experience at all--then again maybe it took a few years to "get it right"--I just bought a beautiful LUC 1937---the service and attention to serving me --the flexibility shown to me and the overall ease of doing business with Chopard Boutique and Zach Izzy in particular was outstanding. This is my second Chopard---I nearly bought it in London Last month on Bond Street---nice quiet, small shop--good people but inflexible--I live in CA and needed some special delivery--they couldn't be bothered so I made a call while I was in the UK to NYC and spoke with Zach---amazing guy--handled all my needs was patient while I was making my decision. let me tell you a little something my yelp buddies and i will be quick to the point, just because you walk in to a fancy high class joint on madison and 63rd st on a rainy friday morning with a 3 buck umbrella in one hand wearing wrangler cargo pants at a cost of about 20 bucks and sneakers from walmart and a long sleeve shirt from sears , does not mean you will be treated badly or get the boot and a kick in the ass get out by security , no way jose you will be treated with the upmost respect from the very professional and friendly chopard staff. as soon as i walked in i was told if i had an appointment and of cause i did not and was told to make one which i might make in the near future, however i ask the gentleman if i could get some quick info on the really cool watch on display outside and he was very nice with his time and knowledge and i was on my way . i never felt that i was wasting his time and he never gave me that assumption . i was able to look around very quickly and it's showcases and counter displays of amazing watches and jewelry and even the seating area looks expensive. it's a really elegant shop . i was told i could look online and see what's available and get prices as well. the upstairs area has a bunch of inclosed display cases with some pretty bling bling stuff and it dont look cheap my people. i don't know if i will invest in that really cool watch which is part of the mille migila series but damn it would look good on my wrist. p.s. check out the chopard watches online , the choices are endless just like the prices. . read more

Had to pop in here this afternoon with a friend having a relationship crisis, and I guess the salespeople are trained to sense the anxiety because the second we walked in a young lady who looked like the bejeweled model in the advertisement behind her smiled lasciviously as if to say, "yes, we can help. yes, although your life is in shambles, you identified the appropriate action and came here, now take out your credit card..." several years of college tuition later, my boy, a happening entertainment lawyer with a penchant for leggy europeans and excessive gestures of adoration, left the store with a new found confidence... eh, everybody has their thing - sales people are nice, and everything sparkled... i just send flowers... read more

If the rating can allow to give 0 star, I would like to give them 0 or no star. My wife and I went to Chopard last month for selecting her Christmas gift this year. The sales rep looked hesitating to serve us and did not offer us any drink when we selected the jewelry while other sales rep did offer drinks to other customers. Finally we purchased the jewelry then the bizarre thing began. After we were charged for the jewelry, we were told by the sales rep that the diamond certificate for the jewelry won't be available but will be mailing out to us later. We were okay for that arrangement, then we waited for two full weeks and nothing from Chopard mailing to us. So I made call to the shop and a female customer rep sounded insincerely and informed us that the sales rep was on vacation, but she would mail that certificate right away. That was fine and I waited another week, and still nothing came to us. I made second call and this time a male customer rep said that he will print it up and I could either pick it up or mail to us. This time I decided to pick it up. The bizarre thing was how difficult would be to prepare and print the certificate at the beginning. The sales rep basically could asked us to waiting bit longer while preparing. Secondly, Chopard is a high-end branded jeweler likes Cartier, but the customer service and after-sales services are terrible!!! Also, unlike Cartier, the diamond certificate from Chopard is not directly from GIA. So potential buyer be aware!!! This was the first and the last time for us to shopping in Chopard! For high-end jewelry, Cartier is the place you can comfort to shop!!! read more

Came here to buy a ring my mother had seen and wanted for her birthday, the saleman was extremely helpful and after hearing my description informed me that Kwiat and not Chopard actually had that particular piece, he then graciously phoned Kwiat to ensure that the piece was there and had them fax a photograph, He was correct, I immediately went and purchased the piece from Kwiat and returned to browse Chopard found a great pair of diamond studs and got those too :) read more

I did an email inquiry with the Madison boutique on the movement of one of Chopard's watches. It's been months since my original inquiry and they still can't answer my question whether the watch movement is actually made by Chopard in-house, or a rebranded off the shelf generic movement. read more

Not sure why all the bad reviews. I visited this store on 1/26 looking for a sterling silver bracelet for my 2012 Happy Sport. I had walked to the boutique and It was freezing outside, so by the time I got there I wasn't looking too well put together. They welcomed me into the boutique, and I was able to explained that the Chopard that I usually do business with have some type of crazy policy not to return phone calls (well maybe just not my phone calls, although they always clain that they called but wow phones today have caller IDs on it and for some reason my phone never shows they called. Humm.... I digress). The people on Madison ave helped me and explained that my my bracelet was not in stock and as a matter of fact no one had my bracelet in stock. They asked that I give them some time to try to find one. I did confirm and this is actually true, the problem is this was the ONLY Chopard Boutique who explained the issue to me, and why I could not get the bracelet. Fast forward 2 days (yes I said 2 days) and I received a call (Can't believe it a Chopard boutique who actually calls you, and their number showed up on caller ID!!!! who figured!) saying that they were able to find the bracelet!!!! I love this boutique!! I would like to add 2 additional floaters to my watch and would love if I could do business with them rather than the boutique in my city. read more

Buyers beware! This review is more about the shoddy craftsmanship of their sunglasses than their customer service at the store. I purchased a pair of Chopard SCH sunglasses that fell apart when I wore them for the first time. The hinges were held together with a thin piece of plastic and two screws. Chopard is known for their exquisite craftsmanship, but that does not extend to their line of acetate sunglasses. read more

I went into the Chopard Madison Avenue boutique looking to purchase a new band for my watch in the short size. I explained to the sales associate that I would like the exact same size strap. She brought me out some strap colors to choose from, and I chose one. When she brought me my watch with the new strap and I put it on it was too big, it was not the right size. When I explained To her this is not the correct size strap... there was no apology, she just said this is all we have. She wasted an hour of my time. I'm very surprised from such a high-end boutique that you would have an inexperienced incompetent associate working there. I had her put my old watch band back on and I left, and will never go back there again nor purchase another item from Chopard again. Unfortunately Chopard doesn't hire competent sales people & instruct them about what their selling. read more

Came in to purchase cube ring , I can tell the looks that I received they didn't want me in the store , I was there to buy a ring . I needed a new band for my chopard watch. I called to ask if they had it. They said they did. The handover from one sales associate to another was seamless. Michael - was the person who assisted me - all went along very smoothly as the band was waiting there when I arrived and they were able to install it on the watch. Although I should expect such good service if I'm paying $150 for a rubber band. 300 if I had lost the clasp ;) But all in all very pleasant, seamless, experience. read more

Amazing service. I brought my Mille Miglia Chronograph in for full service and the personnel was really helpful. I got it back within 10 days - love the store, everyone was so professional and treated me to coffee and champagne, even though I only brought in a repair. Can only recommend it! read more

Nice job overhauling my Chopard. They did a complete overhaul in 2012, and it still keeps perfect time. They offered to polish the case (extra $200 or so), and I declined, but in retrospect, I think I should have gone for that, too. I mean, why not have a beautifully polished case on the watch? read more

I went into Chopard on Madison Avenue this month to ask them to change the battery on my beloved 18K gold Chopard watch which I received as a gift in 2004. The sales person was quite snooty. She told me Chopard USA did not carry batteries for anything that old, and the watch would have to be sent to Geneva. She estimated it would take 3-6 months to get it back, and mentioned that the battery would only last at most 2 years. This sounded rather extreme to me, so I walked down the street to Tourneau who were pleasant and helpful, and had my watch back to me working perfectly in a few days. read more
