The one thing I can say about chop'd is that the ingredients are fresh. That's about it. My girlfriend and I ordered the club panini. We were told itnwoukdntske 5-7 minutes. Ended up being around 15. The chick, Marisol, making our food seemed to be really new. We asked for one panini with onions and one without. Both came without. The bread is literally a squished down sandwich roll. The thick kind. Which just becomes hard. There was almost no meat or veggies on the panini, mostly just cheese and hard Bell peppers. TTY heir salads may be good, I don't know, but their service is slow and the panini is definitely not worth it. read more

This is a mixed review. Part of the issue is with me and not liking this type of service I find it irritating, especially when you order a item on a menu and they want to ask you every Ingredient. Food is very good.. Staff is friendly, however if they paid better attention to what they wrote down on my order, I wouldn't of had 2 of my 3 items ordered made wrong. I item had to be thrown out due to allergies. I would support them, food is good, just maybe management take a read and offer a little better training. And if your curious why I didn't come back, it's 20 mins away and I don't have the time to go back and forth, because your employees didn't prepare the order and it was requested. read more

An awesome little sandwich shop around the corner from me! Sweet! I came here with my girlfriend the other day. I got a Turkey sandwich with a Passion Berry smoothie and she got a Tuna Panini with a Espresso smoothie. On my turkey sandwich I loaded up with pretty much any veggie I can drop on it. The turkey was moist and the sprouts were an awesome addition. For some reason not too many sandwich shops have sprouts on their menu anymore. But Chop'd is very generous with their portions they serve you. The Passion Berry Smoothie was also very good and refreshing. I tried a bite of the tuna panini as well and it looks kind of sad compared to my turkey sandwich, but it tasted pretty good! I will definitely be back to try out other sandwhiches, salads, and juices. I highly recommend if you are looking for a juice or sandwich to give Chop'd a try! definitely beats Subway. haha read more

Would do 3 and half stars if an option- lands In the middle. Stopped here during long drive San Diego to LA. Warning: the road work makes it a nightmare to get here. Better for locals. You can build your own salads and wraps-they charge by weight. The ingredients didn't look as fresh as I would have hoped. And I would pay extra to have hormone and nitrate free meat, but sadly that's not available yet. I think that would make it healthier overall to have an organic meat option. But maybe the neighborhood customers don't request it. The lady who helped me was very nice! I was nervous the wrap wouldn't taste good because the ingredients lacked quality. However I was wrong!!! The wrap tasted great! Spinach wrap with turkey, crispy bacon, jack cheese and sprouts. I was pleasantly surprised by the end result. And the price can't be beat! $5.75. Would be triple in Hollywood! I wanted to like this place so much. I am so desperate for a place to get fresh, healthy lunches and I was all set to make this my new lunch place. On entering it smelled a little funny, but that's not a huge deal breaker. The vegetables I got though - were just not fresh. The lettuce in my wrap had that kinda old lettuce decaying vegetable taste/smell. Everything tasted canned or out of a bag. I don't think they fresh cut the vegetables. Paying for a sandwich by the ounce is nonsensical. I understand "by the ounce" if it was a do-it-yourself salad bar - but I'm not making the food - they are. They should just have regular set prices. The service was very very friendly which is great. But i can't see myself going back unless they made some big changes in how they operate. read more

Lowering the review starts. Although the food is really good and I really enjoy the Steak South of the Boarder salad or wrap, they never seem to have enough Steak to last the whole day. If you don't get in early you can't enjoy one of the best items on their menu. This has probably been the 4th or 5th time this has been an issue. I hope they can fix this problem not just by removing the steak from the menu by increasing the amount of steak they have on hand a day. They have tons of healthy options, where its healthy wraps with your choice of protein or salads which is what I get. Its awesome because they charge about .47c per ounce? My salad comes out to usually under $9.00 and its totally worth it. What I usually get is a customized salad, I start with spring mix, add spinach and kale, blueberries, feta cheese, walnuts, and chicken breast. Talk about a healthy meal right? Came here for the first time today and this is probably my new favorite place now. I ordered their south of the border wrap with chipotle sauce on the side and extra avocado and a tropical smoothie with add-ons (which were free). The price of the wrap was determined by the ounces so I was a little skeptical at first. But the worker told me the estimated price and even asked if I wanted to make it a lighter. It came out to $8 something. The staff at Chop'd were very accommodating and sweet. The wrap I ordered was so delicious!!! I love how the wrap had tortilla chips and cotija cheese. Every bite made my mouth water. After I finished the wrap, I ordered the tropical smoothie and added apples, pineapples, kale, and spinach. It was honestly the tastiest smoothie I've ever drank. The smoothie was a little pricey though. I believe it was $6 something for 20oz (including tax). But I think it was pretty worth it. Great customer service and great food. I don't know man, this visit was a huge let down. I was hyped up by the reviews I drove 20 minutes to try it out. But when I got there the cooks were taking orders not fully knowing what was in each item and genuinely confused with any questions I asked. No idea if they were new or not, but it was obvious they weren't confident in what they were doing. I was asked what cheese I wanted in my BLT which they don't come with cheese, I asked for mayo and got tomato aioli instead. My berry smoothie had zero flavor and was nearly 7 bucks. My salad wasn't anything special and when I asked for the choice of dressing another confusing look and exchange between the cooks went on for a few minutes until I got the dressing. Ultimately after having to go back in from the mix ups, I asked for a refund and who I think was the owner or manager was understanding. I guess these reviews really just gave me high expectations. The service was quite attentive, friendly, and helpful. Almost too much so as the woman behind the counter asked so many questions... I got a chicken pesto wrap, which was pretty decent. Nothing to write home about but tasty none-the-less. I also ordered a juice, which was SO GOOD! Coming from LA, the prices were fair since here a juice is normally $8-10 and at Chop'd it was $6. I have been coming here for a while now trying to eat healthy and get more vegetables in me. I get build your own salad and they weigh it. I spent an average of $12 for my salad. It is close and convenient for me. I usually go to Salad 2000 in Norwalk but this is an alternative and closer. Salad 2000 does give you larger portions so more for your money. The worker are always very nice and friendly. The place is always very clean. They do have a lot of healthy options.
