I frequently eat Jersey mikes at least 1-2 times a week and go to a location near my job. Don't normally eat it when I'm home. I've came to this Jersey mikes a total of 3 times and all three times I've had my sandwich made incorrectly. First time I paid for bacon, no bacon. Second time no sauce, and today my order was wrong again. I've called this location and told them about their errors. They offered to remake, but when you're already home it's just it's just more of a hassle. Genuinely wish they'd get their act together as I enjoy eating Jersey mikes but am beginning to feel like I should only go when I go into work. read more

Pretty bad service today. Ordered 7pm. Got there 7:35pm. Waited til 7:48pm. Not only did they miss the order. They prioritized everyone in the line first. Heard the guy ask someone else and saw that the girl missed the order. Pretty horrible. What's horrible is that they knew and I heard and watched and didn't do anything about it. My first time here. It was horrible. First I was only second in line and 5min waiting someone finally acknowledge me. I had to repeat my order several times because me and the worker could not communicate correctly. My order was getting mixed up with someone else's sandwich. The worker was referring to my sandwich's as a number. Mind you i don't have the menu memorized it being my time. All I wanted was two turkey and one ham sandwich. Not a number! A 3rd work assisted with my order and apologized for the confusion. The second issue is one of the employees was talking badly about one of the clients that had just left. I could hear everything word the worker was saying. That being said that makes me think he was talking crap about me when I left due to the confusion. 3rd a new employee was working and her friend asked if he could cut in front of me. I asked why. I was not willing to allow his to cut for no reason being I had already been waiting a long time. He just mumbled something and that was it. Now it's obvious that nobody was paying attention to making more bread long before they ran out Can you imagine if IN-N-OUT ran out of bread or meat for that matter. I walked in and asked for a #55 giant. But instead of bread I wanted it in a tub. The employees said sorry they don't do a giant in a tub but if I did want it it would be an extra charge for meet. So let me break it down a normal giant in beard is ( 2 chucking patties ) for $19 something A regular is ( 1 chicken patties ) for $9 something A giant tub is ( 2 chicken patties ) no bread for $28 something. So please tell me how this makes any sense. But the employees wanted to argue with me about how it makes complete understanding. So I am paying double for nothing. I also told them I been getting it like that since they first opened and the so called manager said well who ever was doing it is wrong. Well you will never get my business again. I hope you like shards of metal in your sandwich! Not kidding. This Jersey Mike's location has never given me trouble in the past. The customer service is okay, the cleanliness is fine, and they promptly prepare your order. However, yesterday I picked up a to-go order with a hot cheesesteak sandwich. About halfway through, I bit down on something too hard to just be meat cartilage. When I took it out of my mouth, I saw that it was a shard of metal/aluminum. My wife and I immediately stopped eating and I called the store. The gentleman who picked up the phone initially offered me another sandwich. I guess this is what they're trained to say, management? But I didn't want to risk choking and/or medical complications again by swallowing sharp metal. So I said no thanks. I asked for a refund, and after a few minutes on hold, I was told that no refund could be offered over the phone since I paid for one of my sandwiches using Shore Points. So, the worker took my name down and offered me the chance to come in the next day to receive a full refund. So, today I walk in and ask if I may receive a refund. Lo and behold, the worker tells me the store cannot issue me a refund of my Shore Points, so he offers me another sandwich. I told him I did not want another sandwich, I only wanted my money and points back. He kindly refunded my cash but told me that points could not be refunded in-store and that I needed to call customer service. I was not provided with a customer service number, however, and Jersey Mike's does not list it on their website. Instead, they have a "Comment Form." So, I am waiting for a reply from corporate. I guess it's good I didn't swallow this shard of metal, or we would have probably had a lawsuit on our hands. Please be warned. And parents, do not come here to buy your children sandwiches as they may swallow something dangerous like this. The timid reaction of the store was not acceptable. Amidst my call and visit, I only received one apology. In reality, though, I don't need an apology, but I do need this business to do better in not putting customers at risk. read more

I put my order in at the store and asked the associate if it would be OK if I went next store to get something, just like I have done for the past 5 years or more at this location. She said that would be fine. I came back, picked up my sandwich, and when I got home I realized that they made the wrong sandwich for me. I called them and they said they would make me a new, correct one, while I was on my way back. When I got there, not only was the corrected sandwich not ready, the manager, a taller african american gentleman, signaled to me to start at the end of the line. That angered me a bit. He noticed that and smiled and asked me how my day was going. What a dick. The re-made sandwich had too much oil on it, perhaps on purpose. No more great customer service at this location like it used to have before this manager started working there. They used to have 4+ star ratings. I can see why now it is only at 3! I did want to say the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, very talkative among themselves, joking, laughing, and playing around when trying to take a customers order at the same time. Not a very good way of multitasking. I asked for a turkey bacon, avocado sandwich. They wrapped up my sandwich so quick I couldn't even see what it is. My friend grabbed a piece of the sandwich and fortunately she didn't grab the bottom piece of the bread because she was able to see that there were some black shavings on the slice of cheese. It looked like hair shavings and it was absolutely disgusting; was it some sick joke ? We called that same location and asked for a refund and the manager had the audacity to tell us that roast beef has hair on it. Saw one other order ready with a time after mine. They asked my name and started making it right then. Another 5 minutes and I received a mess of a sandwich. Jersey Mike's at crossroads center has a huge parking lot that is well lite. Store looks clean, employees all in uniform, friendly, fast helpful seevice. Simply ridiculous. Don't expect to EVER get a sandwich from this location in less than 40 minutes! I typically order online, get a time to be there and wait an additional 30 minutes for my sandwich. When I ask all they say is they have all these other orders. I get it, they're busy but 40 minutes for an overpriced sandwich is NOT worth it. I ordered the veggie, this is how they cut the bell pepper. Honestly pretty ridiculous, the slices were massive and they left the seeds / center part in ?? I took them out but still the bread was very soggy and the cheese was super thick on the left and thin on the right. Just not very good. ): I feel like it's also important to note the sandwich making space was pretty dirty and they made my sandwich without wiping off the board from previous sandwiches. Never been disappointed before at the La Mirada store. Tonight was THE DISAPPOINTMENT NIGHT, so called Manager Joe, tried to brush off the oregano off my sandwich , because he wasn't paying attention . Told him earlier not to put it on, than he decided tried to brush it off , even when I mentioned to do another sandwich cause of allergic to oregano. He than became rude when preparing another one and I asked Joe to change his gloves. I have never seen the store station of service, so dirty . Joe threw his gloves on the floor when I asked him to get a new one. I respect people of good service and they should respect the customers, as well. read more

I cant remember when was the last time I've been to a Jersey Mikes but I was not disappointed. I got the tuna sandwich, Mike's way and it was really good. A regular size didn't look like it was going to fill me up, but I was wrong. I will come back to try some of the other subs. I did wished they had a meatball sub. Maybe in the near future?
