I ordered the shrimp with broccali dinner. It came with an egg roll, pork fried rice, shrimp , broccali and carrots in a reddish brown sauce, and fortune cookie. The egg roll was okay. The shrimp was a bit soft, the broccali totally limp and the sauce was thick, lumpy and gummy. The fortune cookie was broken and tasted stale. I have been ordering from them for a few years now and this was the first time the food was not good. I will be looking for a new Chinese go to. read more

Giving it 4 stars because the first time I ordered from here food was exquisite. Portions were perfect and flavor was through the roof. Ordered shrimp fried rice, fried wing combo with pork fried rice, and shrimp lo mein and a small side of steamed broccoli. They did not skimp on the shrimp either and they were the large shrimps. Second time I ordered a few months later, ordered same thing except switched the wings for the sesame chicken combo. The lo mein was not it. The sauce was different no flavor whatsoever and they used the small shrimps and only had 7. Same with the rice they packed all the shrimp at the top and none throughout like before. The sesame chicken combo did not taste like others I've had again flavor/sauce was off. I want to say they were having an off day. I'll give it another try just because the first time the food was really good. The place stays super busy and it's tucked away in a small business strip. Still give it a try. Their food is good. Their service, not so much. Went in today and began placing my order when the phone rang. The counter person began taking the order from the person on the phone, ignoring me even though I wasn't finished ordering. When I told her I wasn't done ordering, she told me she couldn't hear the person on the phone because I was talking too loud!! For a brief moment I thought I was on Impractical Jokers, but then realized, nah, just in a busy Chinese restaurant that really didn't need my business. So I left. New China is our "go to" Chinese delivery restaurant. We tried all the Chinese places around our house that delivered when we first moved in and we decided this place was the best of them. My Husband generally orders General Tsao's Chicken. I have tried a lot of different things here including the Sweet and Sour Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, Szechuan Chicken, Beef Lo Mein and others. My favorite is probably the Szechuan Chicken. I like to order it spicier (which still isn't spicy for my tolerant palate) and without the water chestnuts. New China is accommodating to special requests like these. The people that take your order over the phone are sometimes a little hard to understand and sometimes you have to repeat things. However, they have NEVER messed up our order. Not once. Just be nice, tolerant and talk loud and clear into the phone and you won't have issues. They are trying their best to serve you. We also often order their steamed dumplings, egg rolls or crab rangoons. All are delicious here. Overall, this is a pretty solid place to order Chinese take out or delivery. read more

The potstickers! Delicious, wonderful texture, savory and awesome. The teriyaki beef sticks! Great flavor, not chewy or tough like some places make and very tender. The wonton Soup! The broth tastes like real vegetables were made in its creation and not just a standard stock or salty broth. The Moo goo gain pan was not very good, but the bourbon chicken and sesame chicken are good representations of typical chinese takeout. Not to be confused with the other New China on 58th and 9th (different owners) as I think the quality and portion sizes are far superior here. The food is always fresh and I have not had a meal here yet I haven't thoroughly enjoyed. My new favorite dish is their version of Dragon and Phoenix. It's one half General Tso's chicken and one half orange flavored garlic shrimp. There is a whole lot going on here and it's a flavor bomb! I don't mind driving a little farther to get the quality dished out here and passing up the other new china as they have fallen out of my rotation due to a few mediocre experiences as of late. I went here w my daughter on Memorial Day 2016 based on reviews. After I ordered the two dinners I went into the bathroom to wash my hands before eating. Bathroom was FILTHY!! There was NO SOAP, not even an empty dispenser. NO PAPER TOWELS! After I came out to change my order to carry out (so I could wash my hands at home) the lady that took my order went into the same bathroom, did her business, then came out and went straight to the cook line to start making OUR FOOD! Received a new restaurant flyer in the area plus they delivery and delivery is free. What a bonus. Unfortunately the food was mediocre. I ordered the sesame chicken with shrimp fried rice, fried chicken wings with pork fried rice and an order of crab Rangoon. The rice was pretty good. The chicken was very salty and sesame chicken is suppose to be more on the sweeter side. The crab Rangoon was ehh. Okay. Lastly, they like to round up the the total. My order came to 21.00 flat when it was suppose to be like 20.19. Nice rounding out for sure. But since they are new maybe it would get better. read more
