Use to like coming here. Food is ok. So I went twice today. In the morning and evening. I ordered sesame chicken and wonton soup. Soup had a piece of hair. So I returned it. Got a pho soup and you would think they would not charge the difference but they did. Paid another dollar. All this was a to go order. Very little noodles for soup. Sesame chicken was ok. My friend wanted some soup so I suggested this place to her and even though it had a hair she though she'd try it anyway. Went back in the evening ordered a large wonton soup. Gave the cashier a 20 and only gave me back 2 dollars. Mind you the soup was 7.44 so do the math. The cashier said that I had given him a 10 dollar bill. Wow! So he gets upset and very inpatient and only a person whom is a liar and steals would react the way he did. What I found interesting was the fact that they always give me a receipt and this time he did not. Guess he did not want me to see or realize he was stealing and lying from me. His body language said it all. He even raised his voice at me and all his people from the kitchen came out and they all looked at me like I did something wrong. They were speaking their language of course. I don't need to know or understand their language. I understand body language and bullshit when I see it, Vietnamese or Asian folks change their name all the time. I asked for his name and he said he's name was Jose. Jose? Lol umm ok. Not sure how this place has so many stars?? Maybe everybody is too high or they have never consumed authentic Chinese food. The Pho was alright, but the shrimp egg foo young was trash. I'm not sure what they made, but it certainly was not egg foo young! Canned mushrooms and low quality chicken. The consistency of the general chicken was disgusting, the some how managed to over cook inside but make outside mushy. You're better off consuming frozen! read more

Paid 47.00 for pot stickers, kung pao chicken, and BBQ pork chow mien for pick up. We live in Dayton. The kung pao chicken smelled so bad that we couldn't even eat what was on our plates and threw all of it out, what a waste. The pot stickers were mushy and the chow mien had no flavor and was watery on the bottom. Do not waste your money! Will never order from here again. I would give this a zero... everything went into the garbage. read more

My husband and I love Chopstix. Today we ordered lighter fare - wonton soup and egg rolls to go because I had surgery recently and can't get out yet much. The owner is super accommodating and always pleasant with a great smile. The wonton soup is wonderful, very healing. The Szechuan chicken is marvelous too. All your favorites are there. Closed on Tuesdays. We are members of the Wild Horse Preservation League which meets there once a month. There is a great backroom for larger meetings behind the main dining room for your group's next get together. read more

I'm really surprised by the good reviews of this place. The food and service are incredibly hit or miss, the food more often than not a miss. The quality has been so inconsistent that my husband and I have given up on this place. The Singapore Noodles were usually good, but only one of the chefs knew how to make them so you had to time it right. The potstickers were usually good, but when they weren't they'd be insanely greasy and taste... off. Don't even bother with the Phad Thai, the Chinese food is enough of a gamble and they don't do well venturing into Thai. The one time we tried it, it was completely inedible. Super disappointing, because this place is close to home and delivers. It's just not worth the waste of money when the food turns out to be terrible. read more

Ok, I don't normally Yelp Chinese restaurants because there's just too many and they all seem to be pretty much the same. Well I have to say I was actually surprised at how good this place is, & I mean good by the quality and taste of the food. In addition, and this is a rare find, the place was spotless. I had wonton soup, and I have to admit, it's the best I've ever had. The only other thing I ordered was chicken fried rice and I would say it's also the best chicken fried rice I've ever had. My wife and I WERE regular customers to Chopsticks, once a week for months we would dine there and even got to know the waitress well. Tonight we decided to go and enjoy some pho noodles and egg rolls, our waitress wasn't working. While having an egg roll my wife pulled a large strand of plastic from her mouth and showed it to me, I called for the waiter and gave the piece of plastic to her and returned the remaining egg rolls. We barley finished our noodles and proceeded to leave. Chopsticks offered no apologies and charged us full price for the meal. Offended, we will never eat there again! $ before the customer is they're belief in my opinion. read more

I find it a little perplexing that we have lived here for two years and tonight was our first time , I love love loved it , my husband couldn't get enough, we will definitely be adding this to our repertoire. This Chinese Restaurant (Chopstix in Dayton, NV) has the most horrible customer service you could possibly imagine, I would not waste my time. I have been a loyal customer for over 4 years, and have only dealt with their food being, inconsistently good, because they delivered to my house. However, I would not go so far as to say it is incredibly horrible food (given that I have still ordered from them) although it was much better before the new management. P.S. the food quality and customer service has greatly gone down hill once the new management came into place. The women who always answers the phone, hardly knows english, therefore it takes a long time to place your order (because you have to repeat it over and over again). Not only that, but it is not uncommon for the order to be incorrect. Granted, I always order a lot of food (but that is still no excuse on the business end) The last few times I have called to place my delivery order, the women will only sometimes deliver and at other times not deliver... (I guess based off her mood, lol). She will say I live too far when she doesn't want to. Now keep in mind that I have been having them deliver at least once to twice a month consistently for 4 years now. Needless to say... They will not be getting my business anymore. I guess trying to place tonights order was the straw that broke the camel's back. Keep it up Chopsticks and you won't have anymore customers. read more

Chicken curry....very salty and heavy on curry without any real flavor. Chicken vegetables...too salty and yet bland. Zucchini and carrots taste like they might be fresh but sauce and rest of the dish tastes like it's from a can. Egg rolls were good. I ordered from this location after buying my house as nothing was unpacked I was absolutely excited about my order as I love me some chinese food. What I received was not chinese food it tasted as though someone once while in prison saw chinese food in a book. And tried to recreate what they saw 20 years later. I've had a lot of bad food over the years but none of them compare to how bad this was! No flavour to the food. The sauce was all watered down. All but the paper wrapped chicken had a terrible rotting fish smell. Bought cashew chicken, sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, soup, paper wrapped chicken, egg rolls, and pot stickers. After a few bites everything went in the trash but the paper wrapped chicken and pot stickers. I feel so extremely robbed. I will tell everyone I know to NEVER eat here, even if it's free! read more

If there was a way to give it zero I would. The restaurant advertises 'open till nine' we drove 30 minutes to get there and with 20 minutes to spare they wouldn't seat us. Then the food came and same thing. Luke warm. It tasted ok but the service was pretty bad too. No refills and no check. We had to go up to the front to get the check. 1star is not even worth it. First of all I ordered the Szechwan tofu w/minced pork. But I got BBQ pork with tofu. Which only had 5pieces of pork and 4pieces of fried tofu. It was loaded with carrots, celery, onions, chestnuts. If I wanted just vegetables I would have ordered that. Also ordered Mongolian beef, again mostly onions, the beef was cooked just with lots of chili pepper flakes. The fried rice bland as well as the soup. Never again, never again. Since my original review. Things just kept getting worse as we have given them 2 more try's while we had company staying with us. On both occasions we have advised them while ordering about previous to go orders that were incorrect and of very low quality. We were so hopeful that they would improve as we understand they are new and we desperately need a good Asian restaurant in the area. I went there tonight for the first time since the new owners. What a disappointment, I order 4 different dinners and 2 fried rice and 2 white rice. I got 3 of the dinners the same and 3 white rice!! The man behind the counter when we picked up our food was rude, didn't make eye contact, didn't ask if we needed any sauces or anything. I said thank you to him 3 different times when picking up my food, which was very good, and he never once responded to me.
