I got so dehydrated, I fell in the 4th shower and laid there 30 minutes. I went unconscious for some of that time. When I woke, I had to use my foot to turn off the water. When we entered the restaurant, they were empty, the only sound in the entire restaurant were the kitchen staff and some music playing from the kitchen (the Cielito Lindo song, my niece recognized it because she plays it on the piano for grandma); so, once we place the order for the pho, they were empty waiting time was very minimal. The broth from the meatball pho was amazing and the thin rice noodles were the perfect vehicle to sop up that deliciousness; the bean sprouts were the perfect compliment for the rich broth; it added a fresh and crunchy texture to the meal.The meatballs were dense and tasty; the portion size was generous enough to make two full filling meals out of that order. I had an overnight trip to Reno so I decided to give this place a try. I am actually pretty impressed with how well the pho tasted here. I ordered a large pho with rare beef and brisket. The broth was very flavorful and had the authentic pho smell to it. They gave a good portion of meat and noodles for the large bowl and you can't beat $13 for a big bowl of deliciousness. Service was great, the staff members were all very nice and helpful. Very efficient. Ambiance is good, lots of seating and tables for dine in. I ordered the imperial rolls it was okay I've had better from this place in the past. Next was the bbq pork egg noodle soup ugh it needed help, we normally drink the soup but for some reason it had no taste just bland. 3rd was the bbq ribs. Let me say this was by far the worst. The ribs was over cooked and very dry, the sauce was not the Chinese char siu it tasted like sweet and sour sauce mixed with ketchup, it was different extremely different. The owners of this restaurant are the same owners as Hong Kong Diner on Peckham and Virginia. And Both places the quality of the food is going down hill fast. The rice was excellent with just enough grease and loads of pork also a huge portion which I loved. They are in the center with Costco but parking is available. Stopped by while running some errands in the shopping center. Ordered my standard order - combination pho and imperial rolls / eggrolls. Eggrolls were fried well, the accouterments were a little sad to look at. Overall flavor was 3.5/5 Combo Pho has 2 sizes, the larger size is only $1 more, but I ordered the regular size and it was plenty. The broth was really oily and the meatballs were very bland...like cardboard. 2.5/5 Ambience: zero ambience, typical casual sitdown Asian restaurant Service: 3/5 Fast, normal, nothing stood out good or bad. We came in here for lunch and it was not too crowded. It is in a plaza with a huge Costco so it took a little time to find good parking. The place has two rooms, but it seem that they mostly seat customers in the room to the right. We ordered the number one pho with rare beef, tendon, brisket, and meatball. The food came out within ten minutes and everything tasted very good. Service was great, the staff seemed happy and some were smiling. Ambiance?-It was OK, not anything remarkable to me. We went to Costco and were hungry after the shopping trip and this restaurant was conveniently located. For those unaware, the restaurant is located within the Costco shopping center. The pho that I had was good, especially the broth. The meat was tender and the noodles were cooked nicely. One downside was that the noodles to broth ratio was more on the broth side. I wish there were more noodles in the bowl. My wife had the vermicelli noodles, which she said was delicious. One negative is that we ordered the Thai tea with boba, which we had to return as it was not good. The service was good and prompt. We were seated quickly and our order was taken quickly as well. In addition, the food came out quickly. The only negative is that the restaurant ambience is lacking. We were seated in the adjoining room, not the main room of the restaurant. Asian Noodles never disappoints! It's one of my husband and I's go to restaurants for a quick date whether lunch or dinner. It is easy to access and in a convenient location in the Costco parking lot. The staff have always been kind to me and whoever else I'm with and service is almost always good with occasional duds. The restaurant seems small, but has a whole back room with a lot of extra seating. I've hardly ever had to wait to be seated. I always opt for the Flame Broiled Pork and an iced coffee with the condensed milk (I think that's what it is, I could be totally wrong haha). The pork is super filling and always extremely flavorful. The iced coffee is a lovely treat and if you're a coffee lover, I highly recommend it. The Ambiance is okay, the restaurant is dated. it's quiet and slow on a Wednesday late afternoon. I noticed the restaurant expanded into next door. It been years since I dined at this restaurant. The quality of the food is okay, but could been better, the broth of the beef pho is on the salty side, the rice noodles is too soft which means it's over cooked. We attempted to try Asian Noodles again the other night and I couldn't believe the rude service upon arrival. Absolutely no friendly greeting, rude stares, and all around grumpy vibes. Not to mention all of the empty tables were full of dirty dishes, trash, bowls full of left-overs. This is a great spot when you need a bowl of hot noodles on a cold day! Their pho was very tasty, portion sizes were great, I got a medium, and it was still gigantic! The broth was very flavorful, and not overly fatty, they brought a healthy portion of veggies to add, and the meats were all yummy! I walked in and the entire place was filled with delicious smells of BBQ/grill meat! However, as I made my way into the counter to place my order, I hesitated. There was three amigas in the front as servers and at least two aminos in the kitchen working. That was all I able to see as far as works. And as far as for the people dining in, none of them were Asians. Luckily, I chose to trust my nose. I placed an order of flame boiled shrimp and pork over broken rice; flame boiled pork chop, beef chow fun and Bun Rieu. The Vietnamese items were all legit! However, the beef chow fun was not what I expected. It was basically beef mixed with veggies over a black sauce over the flat rice noodles. I was very surprised with the Vietnamese items. It was a very satisfying take out meal. Portions were generous! Good amounts of protein and veggies, not just piling up with rice. They also filled up the little container of fish sauce. I loved the fish sauce flavor just the way I like it. It was a little salty, a little sour and a little sweet with chili sauce. It was mixed perfectly! Many places barely provide any fish a sauce due to inflated fish sauce prices, this place provided a full 3-4 oz container of it. As for the Bun Rieu, it was extremely surprisedly good. Before I start to taste the broth, I had already knew it was good with the aroma coming out of the container. As I taste the broth, it was filled with flavors, I can even taste the shrimp paste flavor. Nowadays, not that many places has this flavor, but of course I'm not Vietnamese, but I can't tell this is authentic or close to being authentic. The Bun Rieu also came with good portions of protein, probably just as much as the noodles. I think I could use a little more noodles. My kids killed the bun Rieu before we even hit the hotel. Will definitely come back especially they kept their prices so low. read more

I haven't had Pho here in over 10 years and it's apparent that the ownership has changed. This used to be the only Pho place that wasn't downtown, and it used to be good. I ended up here because my regular Pho fix is closed so the family can enjoy a well deserved vacation. The Pho was terrible. I ordered a large so I could bring home the left over broth to have another meal, but it was so bad. The broth was weak and tasted like soap (not cilantro soapy, I'm not averse to cilantro I love it) like dishwater. The beef balls tasted like the pork/chicken ones with the smoother texture. The rare beef is paper thin. Sprouts were fresh, basil was bruised, served with lemon wedge, not lime. zero stars for Pho. Still, the bun (cold noodle) dish here is good. (lemongrass beef or grilled pork with eggrolls), the peanut sauce for the summer rolls is very flavorful, and the egg rolls are good. Just not the Pho. read more

I've been a regular at Asian Noodles since I was a child -- so 10+ years. We've had many family dinners here, and they're our go-to for an easy, low-stress meal after a Costco visit (plus we love that 10% Costco discount). I've seen the owners change and change again, and while the food is still good, it's not what it used to be. At my most recent visit, I ordered: - Pho w/ Rare Steak: 5/5. Delicious pho! The meat was tender and the soup was flavorful. I appreciate that their broth isn't unreasonably salty, which is an issue I often face at other pho spots. A bowl of standard pho is $11 for a small and $12 for a large, and the small is perfect for me. - Shrimp Spring Rolls: 3/5. Their spring rolls used to be huge and filled with delicious sprouts, basil, lettuce, and rice noodles. Now they're a lot smaller, with only lettuce and shrimp. That was a huge bummer. :( We asked to be seated in the adjacent hotpot room, for some additional social distancing. This room in particular was quiet and dark, and could've used some background music or TV. It's no secret that the servers are not the most outgoing or upbeat, but I haven't found this to be an issue. As long as the food gets from Point A to Point B (the kitchen to my table), I'm happy. :) Give Asian Noodles a try after your next grueling Costco run! Stick to the Pho and you're golden. read more

The pork blood tasted like it was very frozen and microwaved to thaw so that was disappointing. Used to be a favorite back in the day, haven't tried it out in years. We decided to come for some rainy day pho and apps. I always get the combo pho, still pretty good and generous portions of meat. Hubby got the golden steam fried chicken. It's was cooked to perfection, juicy and crispy skin! The egg rolls were mediocre, but the kids ate em' up. Same with the potstickers. It was time to have a "Father & Daughter" dinner and my youngest chose Vietnamese. We always see this place when we go to Costco. The two girls were very nice and greeted us with an smile. The first thing I noticed was the place was full of Asian diners. That's a good sign to me, pointing to the possibility that the food is authentic and good. The prices were great. Many soups for $8.95. The menu is extensive and has a good variety of Vietnamese and Chinese dishes. They also have a 'Hot Pot' option where AYCE is an option. We ordered BBQ pork noodle soup, rare beef and meatball soups and the summer roll appetizer. The soup broth was very nice. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. We also ordered some BBQ pork Togo. I do like the BBQ and the box was quite full. We will return to try other menu items and the hot pot. read more

Ever had Hot Pot? It's a really fun dining experience you can easily share with friends, and believe it or not, this is the only place doing it in town! The concept is pretty simple. A pot of broth arrives at the table and is placed on a hot plate to bring it to a slow boil. You select the meats, veggies, and other accoutrements you'd like, and then dip them in the broth until they're cooked. Most places also have a special sauce or sauce bar where you can make your own for dipping. At Asian Noodles there are two options: $20/pp (min 2 ppl) and you choose one or two broths and 10 items from the menu to enjoy in them OR $30/pp AYCE. We chose option 1 with three people, the spicy herbal broth and the Tom yum broth, and chicken, beef, shrimp, lotus root, bok choi, vermicelli Noodles, enoki mushrooms, squid balls, and a few other items. There was enough for everyone to enjoy their favorites over and over again with leftovers to spare. We also ordered spring rolls and a special soup called bahn can cua, which is supposed to be a crab soup but here they used fake crab which really ruined what could've been a special experience. It's not a menu item you find in town, so I was pretty disappointed. I'm so torn on 3 or 4 here because service to me is a major component, and that's where Asian Noodles always falls off. Theyre very curt, with seemingly no patience and no conversation. I've literally never seen the owner or staff smile. They offer discounts both on Yelp and for Costco card holders with no mention of any exclusions, and when we presented them with both they said "Oh. Not on hot pot." Meanwhile we ordered drinks and other food too. Regardless, this is a fun experience you can share with friends. The broths are delicious and the meats/veg are all high quality too. I'll be really honest to say that I didn't have high hopes in going there but Crawfish that is across the way was packed so I decided to take the family here. The servers were very attentive, quick and very friendly. We ordered a bunch of food there that included pho, fried rice, fresh rolls and chow fun and everything tasted really good and I mean really really good. I've definitely had better pho in Reno. The price is good and service is decent. The food is mediocre. I ordered a spring roll and it's not authentic. It's missing the pork and other green herbs that would normally go in there. The roll is also quite small for the price. Usually for $9, the spring roll is about 150% bigger than this one. Beef pho is good and the amount of meat in the pho is also plentiful. Soup is on the salty side but decent. Staff's English is very limited and I don't speak Spanish, so my order was not taken correctly. Bun bu hue was awful. It's missing a lot of flavors. Also, it should've come with cabbage and the staff didn't bring it out until we told them that it's missing the vegetables. Pork chop was decent but again quite salty. Way too much sauce and it's slightly on the sweet side. It's also missing the fish sauce that would normally come with the item; however, we didn't ask for it because it's already quite salty. The portion of the pork chop was also smaller than what I'm used to see. There was no smoothie boba like how it was advertised. If you cannot consistently provide food, that should be taken out from the restaurant window. Overall, this place satisfied my craving for pho. It's definitely lacking the flavor and authenticity of true Vietnamese food . Staff is nice but would be better if they can speak better English. Technically 3.75 I got Asian Noodles Doordashed so I would not be fair to give them any but with prior experience they do lack customer service but no service points were deducted upon this Yelp rating. I took -1 star off because they no longer do hot pot which is one of the things I love and I hope they bring hotpot back. As I said I got this doordashed and by the time I received this it was warm. But no points was deducted in the rating for this. I ordered the Banh Canh Cua which is a thick soup like gravy in udon noodle with seafood. Unique Vietnamese food to find in Reno. The flavoring was AMAZING to say the least. The reason why -0.25 was deducted from this rating was because it came with very little udon noodles. It came with very little bean sprouts and 1 pretty much dried up lemon. For those of you that follow me, you already know that I'm vegan. Sometimes when you go to places like this it's difficult to explain what you're looking for and what items you have available to eat. Maybe it's because I've been here so many times or maybe it's because they understand a little better than others... However they do a great job with helping me identify what meals I can and cannot eat. The food portion sizes are gigantic... So I don't think you'll come in and order an appetizer and an entrée and a dessert because that amount of food could feed an entire family. I know every time that I order an entrée I always have enough to take home for an entirely other meal. The staff for the most part is really helpful and nice, however sometimes you do get someone that doesn't speak very good English... However if he just take a deep breath and get creative you guys can figure it out. The food always makes up for the lack of communication. The one thing I can say and the reason why they only got four stars instead of five is the location. The location isn't always the cleanest, the chairs and tables are very basic with almost no effort to class the joint up.... and I have no problem with that... Because of the prices. If the prices were five dollars more I would expect the location to be up to my standards. The bottom line is the foods amazing and the staff is so egger to be helpful!
