    Pho rare beef and brisket
    Audrey E.

I had an overnight trip to Reno so I decided to give this place a try. I am actually pretty impressed with how well the pho tasted here. I ordered a large pho with rare beef and brisket. The broth was very flavorful and had the authentic pho smell to it. They gave a good portion of meat and noodles for the large bowl and you can't beat $13 for a big bowl of deliciousness. Service was great, the staff members were all very nice and helpful. Very efficient. Ambiance is good, lots of seating and tables for dine in. Would definitely come back here for my work trips.

    Pork fried rice

Had to make this a quick stop and service was quick. My go to pork fried rice and a fantastic boba honeydew. The rice was excellent with just enough grease and loads of pork also a huge portion which I loved. They are in the center with Costco but parking is available. There are many options on the menu I will try on my future visits. It definitely is worth your visit.

Stopped by while running some errands in the shopping center. Ordered my standard order - combination pho and imperial rolls / eggrolls. Eggrolls were fried well, the accouterments were a little sad to look at. Overall flavor was 3.5/5 Combo Pho has 2 sizes, the larger size is only $1 more, but I ordered the regular size and it was plenty. The broth was really oily and the meatballs were very bland...like cardboard. 2.5/5 Ambience: zero ambience, typical casual sitdown Asian restaurant Service: 3/5 Fast, normal, nothing stood out good or bad. Price: With tip my total was $27 ish, I'd say great value to volume ratio. Flavorwise, I think you can find better elsewhere.

The "curry chicken" is 99% canned water chestnuts and bamboo you can still smell the can brine was nasty. The hot and sour soup was also full of canned bs I just set this shit out for the hungry humans but I wouldn't go again

    Crispy Fried Chicken.

I love their Crispy Fried Chicken. Portion is great with a lot of pickled side vegetables. And most of all items on the menu are reasonably priced. You are getting the bang for your buck. Great job!

We went to Costco and were hungry after the shopping trip and this restaurant was conveniently located. For those unaware, the restaurant is located within the Costco shopping center. The pho that I had was good, especially the broth. The meat was tender and the noodles were cooked nicely. One downside was that the noodles to broth ratio was more on the broth side. I wish there were more noodles in the bowl. My wife had the vermicelli noodles, which she said was delicious. One negative is that we ordered the Thai tea with boba, which we had to return as it was not good. The service was good and prompt. We were seated quickly and our order was taken quickly as well. In addition, the food came out quickly. The only negative is that the restaurant ambience is lacking. We were seated in the adjoining room, not the main room of the restaurant. The restaurant was dark and there were restaurant supply visible throughout the place. It appears they are lacking storage.

Asian Noodles never disappoints! It's one of my husband and I's go to restaurants for a quick date whether lunch or dinner. It is easy to access and in a convenient location in the Costco parking lot. The staff have always been kind to me and whoever else I'm with and service is almost always good with occasional duds. The restaurant seems small, but has a whole back room with a lot of extra seating. I've hardly ever had to wait to be seated. I always opt for the Flame Broiled Pork and an iced coffee with the condensed milk (I think that's what it is, I could be totally wrong haha). The pork is super filling and always extremely flavorful. The iced coffee is a lovely treat and if you're a coffee lover, I highly recommend it. Most recently, I tried their crab wontons/rangoon and they were crispy and flavorful; would definitely order again!

    Bun Bo Hue ($13)

One of my go to Asian food spots in Reno. Solid restaurant and great prices. Yes, it's not the "best" but what do you expect for 10- 11 dollars? Good, quality Vietnamese food. The imperial rolls are crunchy and hot. The fried wonton soup is really good. The pho, Bun rieu, and bun Bo hue warms the soul. Bonus: If you are a Costco member, they give you 10% off!

This place really stands out for both the quality of the food and the authenticity of the flavors. The dishes taste fresh and homemade, with the kind of balance of spice, sweetness, and flavor you expect from real Thai cooking, not watered-down versions. The curries are rich and flavorful, the noodle dishes are excellent, and the spice levels are done right if you like authentic heat. Our waitress Nid was great, friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, and the service is friendly and welcoming. I then had to fight to flag a waitress to ask for chili paste to get any heat in my entire dish. I like that there are veggies with it and the noodles have a good chew, but I've found zero dishes with anything near Thai spices here My partner got the pad thai, which was sickly sweet yet didn't taste like tamarind, fish sauce nor contain pickled veg. The wood ear in it was excellent, but I've never seen it in pad thai. The thai ice tea was good, maybe a bit heavy on sweetener. I don't understand the high ratings here, based pireh on food. Thai Chili has far better flavors, and is rated lower. The wait staff/food runners lacked politeness, and never checked if we enjoyed our food or needed anyone. Sans the person filling everyone's water, we were never checked on in any other capacity. The restaurant was a cacophony of noise and conversation, I had to lean across the booth to have any chance of hearing my companion. The noise level is overwhelming if you have sensory issues at all. The decor is pretty cool.

Once we were seated, our order was taken almost immediately. Service was efficient and prompt. It wasn't particularly friendly, but it wasn't rude either, it felt very much like the staff was focused on turning tables quickly, which is understandable when a place is that busy. What I didn't expect was the flavors of the dishes. Each one seemed to have an unusual sweetness that didn't feel typical for Taiwanese food. From the Mapo Tofu to the salted fish fried rice and even the Taiwanese popcorn chicken, they all had a noticeable sweetness to them. Maybe I'm a bit spoiled by the variety of Asian food options we have living in the San Francisco Bay Area, but the flavors here just didn't quite match what I usually expect from Chinese/Taiwanese

Today we got the following: Garlic Pork & Rice - My dish. Deep fried pork with garlic, what is there NOT to like?!?! I did not expect it to be bite size pieces, which made it easy to eat. The sauce was on the side, which was not really needed. My rice might have been slightly undercooked...? Very firm/hard, or was it the last of the pot? Still good, but I would preferred it softer. Wonton Noodle Soup - A classic dish, another dish that is very hard to do wrong. Both dishes were perfect quantities for us, both light eaters. No left overs. Of the two, the Thai Boat Noodles was the standout it woudl be something I'd order again. The Garlic Pork dish including the rice, though, was a letdown. It tasted okay, nothing memorable. I am not a big lamb fan, but this New Zealand lamb was tender and non-gamey. The owners did an outstanding job of timing the dishes and engaging with our group while also taking care of other diners including non event patrons getting getting take-out and inhouse menu dining. The ahi tartare portion anywhere else would have been a shareable appetizer. But each person was served a large portion of delicious fresh ahi. Mmmm this course and a glass of wine could be dinner alone any other evening. The soft creamy rich egg custard was hidden under a thick seafood gravy. I really enjoyed this unique dish. The miso black cod is always flaky and delicious. And the crab fried rice it's nestled on also never disappoints. The rich New Zealand stir fried lamb and shiitake mushrooms over pea shoots was a fabulous hearty dish on this chilly March evening. The outer layer of the gai lan stems had been peeled away, so the stems lost the crisp texture that makes gai lan so enjoyable. The Vermicelli with Grilled Chicken was overly tender and quite salty.
