We looked at the menu online and got very excited. We called to order and found out the restaurant doesn't make most of the items listed on their website. This place looks sketchy and shady, but don't let that turn you away. The food was great. We stopped by there after a hike and started not to stay after seeing the inside of this place. It needs to be cleaned up. The menus were even filthy. I think they are more of a grab n go spot. The food was great though. Everyone was satisfied with their food and we were about 15 deep. The food was plentiful and flavorful. I ordered the tofu and rice noodle pho and it was the best pho I've had to date. Worst teriyaki chicken I have ever had. Chicken was soaked in what I guess was teriyaki sauce. It wasn't cooked like other restaurants I have had it at. It was like cooked in a crockpot I guess you could say. They also forgot the rice on one of the orders. How do you do that. And then charge the customer the same price. We have been here twice and always have wonderful service. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is always very fresh and cooked perfectly. We had sweet and sour chicken that melts in your mouth and has such wonderful flavor. We bought combination dinner C. I am a very picky Chinese food person, especially with Eggrolls and pot stickers and they both were awesome!. One impressive thing I noted was that the shrimp was fresh and not fishy tasting. I used to LOVE getting takeout from here, but the last two times I had food from here, something disturbing happened. Both times I would get a bite of my meal that tasted really chemical-like. Almost hairspray like. I'm assuming they are adding a flavor enhancer and it doesn't get well mixed sometimes. I'm not sure what happened. Last year I ate there and it was good. This year though? I stopped in and ordered some soup with chicken teriyaki. The soup was mostly oil and gross, the chicken tasted nothing like chicken (there was like only 2 small pieces of chicken in it too), the noodles were bland and the celery in the lo mein was very, very, VERY raw! Terrible service from inexperienced, rude wait staff. They have no idea how to serve a customer. The food was terrible as well, I wouldn't even call it Pho. However Thier sign says 11 am to 9 pm, I was there at 11 and they weren't open called a few hours later and they said they would be open till 8 or 830. It's 7 pm and they are closed! It is because of this upfront honesty I am giving them two stars instead of one. The sauce was horrible. Some sort of brown gravy that might be put on meatloaf or in a beef stew. Excellent food. I had the Kung Pao Shrimp. The veggies were fresh and the shrimp was perfectly cooked, hot and tender without being chewy or rubbery. Great flavor without being too spicy. It is nice to have another option in Eatonville, but vegetarians be forewarned- you need to specifically order the vegetarian items without any fish or chicken broth. I questioned the broth on my broccoli and tofu after receiving it and was told that it was chicken broth. I asked for it to be prepared without any broth, and they did, but it was a little bland. This is possibly the best restaurant in Eatonville. We tried several dishes and we found all quite delicious. The mongolian beef is extremely tender, the tofu with veggies has a great flavor and a lot of veggies cooked to perfection. Portions are generous and the food is not greasy at all.
