This is our go to Chinese takeout/delivery place. We haven't tried a ton of other places but we found that this hits the spot for us. We love to order for delivery since it's not that expensive. We always have a staple of the crab rangoons, we love them and they're huge. My hubs loves the boneless spare ribs as his entrée, sometimes we order a side of rice or we just make it at home. I love the shrimp with broccoli or mixed vegetables. The lo meine is really good too, tons of flavor and a bang for your buck. The fried rice is okay, not a lot of veggies in it but sometimes they add it to the meal if it's over a certain price which I thought was pretty good. Not just bad. Horrible, awful bad. I ordered through Grubhub, but they do their own delivery. They gave a delivery time of 5:10 as seen in the receipt. At 5:25, I called and told them we had not received the order. They just get saying to "keep my line open," like what? We have cellphones in 2026. They also kept saying, "you live a half hour away." No. It's 17 minutes in rush hour traffic. Meanwhile the app is saying that they are basically at my residence, but it was saying that for 20 minutes. At 5:45, since I kept my line open lol, I receive a call saying the same things to me. Sorry it's delayed, I live far away, etc. a bunch of BS. I asked for a complete refund. They said "you want to cancel?" I said I want my food and I want a refund. At 5:50 the order finally arrives. It was hot (as if they just made it and sent the driver right out) other than that it was gross. Fried rice is NOT fried. It looks dyed with yellow food coloring. Lo mein tasted burnt with some random pineapple and way over cooked vegetables. General Tsos chicken was so over fried, it was hard to find the chicken at all. Horrible experience. I ordered Pad Thai on Saturday 5/17/25 around 2:45. I paid about thirteen. They dish prepared was utterly clueless. The noodles were limp and were not seared in any way. The sauce was not tamarind based which balances sour, sweet and umami with caramelization. They used a sauce from their other menu items. I didn't see bean sprouts, fried egg or chives. On Sunday, October 29th, 2023, I got food at a take-out Chinese restaurant in Wilmington. This restaurant had excellent food. It was the New York style Chinese food that I strongly enjoy. The pork egg rolls were huge, and they were filled with cabbage and ground pork. The dumplings were excellent as well. They were large, filled with ground pork, and had a thick wrapper. The entrees were excellent as well. I got mixed vegetables in garlic sauce, chicken with broccoli, General Tso's tofu, shrimp with lobster sauce, & roast pork fried rice. All of them were excellent. The roast pork was prepared properly. The shrimp were good, and given in generous amounts. The tofu was coated and fried perfectly. The vegetables were fresh and excellent. There was no celery, which is a vegetable that I loathe. Instead, I had broccoli, pea-pods, water chestnuts, baby corn, carrots, and peas. Those are all vegetables that I like. I may have had this restaurant once, but it's the best Chinese food I had since eating at Mei Mei (Somerset, New Jersey) in October 2020. We got delivery from here last night and honestly, we had to throw it out. It was terrible. The sesame chicken, I couldn't even cut it with a knife it was so tough. Same with the ribs, terrible. My stomach hurt after a few bites and still does this morning. I know that it's always a little iffy when you have food delivered, but this by far was the worst. Customer service was bad. food was inedible. The chicken fried rice was literally boiled chicken with microwaved rice that had what I presume was food coloring in it. No way they actually used anything to flavor and it sure as hell wasn't fried. The carrots and peas tasted like a penny. Literally. Actual waste of money. Came here for the first time while I was in town and used their online ordering system. Really easy to use and they have promotions for free items with a certain dollar amount purchase. The only thing that was a little confusing is that it didn't give me an estimated time of order completion like other sites do. Pickup took a little while, since the employees were very busy on a Friday night and I wasn't acknowledged promptly. But... The food was amazing. The portion sizes were very generous and the packaging was perfect. I had to drive ~40min to get home and the food was still piping hot when we opened it! Will definitely be coming back! read more

While on vacation, I experienced a craving for the comfort of American Chinese food. Given Wilmington's numerous choices, I asked my hotel's front desk for a recommendation, and they suggested Chopstix. I placed my order online, which was a surprisingly simple process, and my order arrived within 20 minutes, still piping hot. My sesame chicken was perfectly seasoned and tender, and it had the perfect amount of sauce. My fried rice, which I ordered plain, was delicious. The cheese wontons were equally tasty, though they could've been fried a bit harder (my only quasi-"complaint"). The portion sizes were also on point. I couldn't even finish my meal. Worth mentioning is the fact that you earn a coupon for free food when you order a certain dollar amount. I was given free egg drop soup with my order, and it was a welcome addition! Overall, it was a wonderful and satisfying experience, and I highly suggest giving this place a shot! I did, and I wasn't disappointed. We ordered chicken and chicken egg foo young. The chicken was like cardboard. It had been cooked and reheated and refried so many times that resembled balsa wood. See the photo attached. The Wonton soup was good, the fried rice was good, the Eggroll was good. Unfortunately the gravy that came with the egg foo young was scorched and taste like burnt gravy. A hidden gem! I was getting tired of the same old hibachi and wanted to try something new. This menu has Chinese food and Japanese hibachi! I decided to go with the hibachi, but I was nervous since this didn't seem to be the main part of the menu. I ordered chicken and steak hibachi, no mushrooms. I also ordered hibachi noodles (chicken). It was a lot of food and so good! I did expect fried rice and it was white rice, but mixed all together it was so amazing!!! Great flavor and delicious zucchini, broccoli, onions, and carrots. It also came with the clear soup and white yum yum sauce. Would definitely recommend the hibachi at this place! If I could give less than 1 star I would. I ordered and paid $10.49 for a quart of pork fried rice and got one of the little small, flat white containers. NO WAY IS THIS A QUART. I went back in immediately and he said they no longer sell the quart boxes and that is the large. This is a rip off because the container doesn't hold a quart of anything. I ordered from this establishment on 3-5-18. Upon placing my order I asked for my food to be placed in a platter and that the chicken be cooked well done. When my order arrived it was $12.50 when I was told it would be $11.43 The deliver driver had no clue as to what I was talking about and yet I could not blame him because he was not the one who had taken my order. I did not tip because my food should not have taken the alloted 45 mins it did because I was just at a nearby hotel on the same street. BEST chinese in wilmington! When I moved here I searched for a good chinese place because it's my comfort food and my friend recommended this one and it really is the best. Their general tso chicken is so good and their lo mein is probably the best I've ever had. They have a nice selection on their menu, including vegetarian items. There were no problems at all ordering, and from the time the order was placed to the delivery, it was about 45 minutes. They also didn't give us the free egg roll that came with our meal. We drove almost 20 miles, round trip to pick it up. Now I understand that mistakes happen so I called them to make it right. They wanted to credit me $3 on a future order for the mishap and that's where my problem lies. Whatever happened to a business "making it right" and "doing the right thing?" They literally argued with me about at least giving me a replacement Sweet & Sour chicken on my next visit. If I have to argue with you to try and convince you to do what's right, then you don't deserve my patronage. Needless to say, they lost a repeat customer. Pros: The food is really good, much better than Oleander (Asian Best) The staff are friendly Good Value However, the delivery is expensive for the quality. My family ordered food for delivery, ready in told 45minutes. The delivery arrived at one hour and fifteen minutes later. Not angry about extra time. Extremely upset how restaurant was so unprofessional. When the food arrived it was so cold and the fries were so greasy they were shining. I normally take a look at yelp first before I order from somewhere new. I didn't this time, and I'm glad. I was nervous at first seeing all the bad reviews, but it was actually pretty great. Maybe they're under new management or got new cooks or something since the last comments. We ordered the chicken with garlic sauce, general tso, sweet and sour chicken, chicken teriyaki, and cream cheese wantons. It was all tasty. The chicken with garlic sauce could have used more chicken, but the flavor was great. Egg rolls were meh, but then I don't really like them to begin with so I might be biased. Will absolutely order again. Delivery took about an hour, however I did order through a 3rd party online. I didn't get a confirmation from the 3rd party site, so I called the restaurant. The girl who answered was very polite. I even got a call from the delivery driver as he was leaving apologizing for the delay (and the food still came hot!).
