Yeah I know... from the outside its just another Chinese food carryout restaurant, located in just another strip mall, off just another major transit road (Route 1) And yes, I understand that 'Chinese' food is often regarded as low class, quick, and simple. But I really believe that what we call Chinese food really is the new 'American' comfort food, which probably explains why nearly every strip mall in America has a Chinese takeout restaurant. Sure, some of these takeout joints are downright sketchy. Lord knows I've fallen ill to quite a few "China Kings", "Szechuan Wonks," and other Asian "bistros" in my day. But every once in a while I come across a hidden gem. And Chopstix is that hidden gem. The menu is vast, the prices are cheap, the portions are plentiful, and the service is prompt and fast. Even the delivery guys are friendly and efficient. What more do you want for a Chinese takeout restaurant? I probably order from here about 5 to 6 times a month. Nearly every dish I've tried fits the bill. And unlike a lot of these Asian "bistros" out there, Chopstix does not skimp in the meat department. The Hong Kong wonton soup is an exceptional deal (for $5 bucks you can feed two people). The Kung Pao chicken is another favorite as well as the Mongolian Beef. Food is average, customer service is below the floor. I ordered my food was told it's gonna take 15-20 minutes. I came back in 10, they asked me how they could help me and I told them that I'm waiting for my order. 10 minutes later they asked me again and I told them agan that I was waiting for my order. This time they asked me my name and the order was there, sitting all that time that I was waiting from first time they asked me. I should of asked for refund, too bad I was out of time to go somewhere else. This was my last time at that place. read more

I generally order takeout and they messed up my order resulting in me having yo drive back and pick up the rest of my order. The staff is rude, very-unhelpful, and food is very mediocre; do yourself a favor and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. They charged me a dollar to put the sauce on the side would not recommend. read more

i've only tried a few things from chopstixx but they've all been pretty solid. the boba tea is very good (and they give you a very generous size). i've gotten their general tso's twice here i find it to be only ok. however, the malaysian keow teow is one of my favorite noodle dishes. the noodles are very soft and delicious, they don't skimp on the items in the noodles. each time i've ordered it there's a large amount of chicken, shrimp, bean sprouts and scallions. maybe next time i'm here i'll branch out and try the other things on the menu. read more

I have eaten here a few times since I have moved to Elkridge. Pretty consistent food. I have eaten both in the restaurant and take home. While the food was good when going to the restaurant the service is minimal. I would recommend doing take out, food has always been hot and fresh when I have taken it home. read more

I go to UMBC and often order delivery from here to the dorms. They should consider reaching out to UMBC to feature their menu in the dorms because they are definitely superior to all the Chinese delivery options nearby. Great value for your money and tasty as well. This place is really small so only about 20-25 people can sit in there. I think most people order carryout though. Most of their items are quite tasty and the portions are very large at an extremely affordable price. I would highly recommend this place if you are hosting a party. Online ordering obviously not the way to go...45 minutes later and watched 4 people order in person leave with their food before me. No personality to customer service, no apologies, just excuses. So disappointed in this place. I ordered at 11:45am. I used Beyond Menu to order which made me choose a delivery time. I chose the earliest option :12:50pm. I got a call a few minutes later and someone from the restaurant asked if I needed it at that time or could they bring it sooner. I said sure. You can bring it as soon as it's ready. By 12:56pm I had not received it. I called to check and they said the driver was on the way. The restaurant is 2 min. from my house. At 1:17pm, the driver arrived and asked for my card which he said he had to use to make an imprint. I had already paid online. When I questioned him about it he said the owners make him do it and that customers always complain. Of course the food was cold because it had been driving all around for over an hour. I don't have a microwave so I ate cold food. Also, I ordered "Thai Chicken". It looks they gave me Hunan chicken. DON'T GO HERE! I know I won't. read more
