I had a salad at this location a couple of years ago, and it was pretty good. Today I ordered a salad with spinach, spicy chicken, corn, feta cheese, crunchies....and only realized when I got home that I basically got a giant bowl of spinach. I'm halfway through eating/digging through it and only found two actual pieces of chicken so far! Barely any corn or cheese. I asked for the salad to not be chopped...which makes it easy to see that the salad is pretty much ALL spinach with dressing. Very disappointed.

Wonderful customer service even with all the nonsense of the virus going on. Found the location last week and already went 4 times. Best salads in the neighborhood!!! I drive 10 miles for it!!! Did I mention they refused a tip for curbside pick up! Those workers deserve a raise! So professional!

I am a regular at the Mt. Kisco Chop't location. Before they opened they were giving out free salad coupons and someone handed one to me when I was walking down S. Moger Ave. There are at least 15 different salads to choose from and approximately 20 different dressings. What make it unique is that they chop the salad into very small bite size pieces. This process mixes all of the ingredients together so nicely. I come to Mt. Kisco very other week for business and get a salad here every time. It's always fresh and delicious. I also get a cup of their special brand of soda. It's called Puck's fountain soda. My flavor is diet cherry cola (way better than Pepsi or Coke). The restrooms and restaurant area are extremely clean and the staff is friendly. It's a five star place for salads. The prices are lower then restaurants' salad entrees. I am loyal customer and highly recommend Chop't.

I'm so glad there's a make-your-own-salad shop in Mount Kisco now! I enjoy going to Chop't in the city, but now I am able to enjoy the salad chain when I visit my family in Westchester. This particular location is very clean and almost always bustling with business, especially during lunchtime (12-1 PM). I typically get my salad to-go, but there are a lot of tables here to enjoy your salad right away. Although there are so many great salads on the menu and you can even make your own, I usually go with the Mavericks with added feta, which is one of the grain salads that has a quinoa base--so delicious. Each salad comes with a small piece of multigrain pita bread and every salad can be turned into a wrap (+200 calories). The Chop't process is pretty straightforward, even if you aren't a regular here. At the first station, you are asked for your order and an employee puts all your ingredients in a bowl with lettuce. At the next designated station (you will be told which station your salad is going to), your salad will be chopped and you can add a dressing to your salad. Finally, step down to the cash register and pay for your salad/add any drinks and snacks to your meal! Perhaps the best part about this Chop't is that they DELIVER!! You can also order ahead and pick up your salad if you're in a hurry.

I visited this relatively new restaurant on a Saturday afternoon. I'm familiar with the chain as I've eaten at the Rye Brook location several times. The Mt. Kisco location is so clean; like sparkling and shiny clean! Seriously, cleanest place I've eaten in years. I was super impressed just upon entrance. Second reason to love Chop't: options galore for salad making! The "choppings" (salad add-in's/add-on's) are fresh and varied and interesting and unique. They had local kohlrabi, kale for a salad base, quinoa, hearts of palm, fresh bright green jalapenos. Anything you can imagine for your salad, chances are they offer it. This place is the Disney world of salad proffers (THE happiest place on salad earth.) They also have standard/staple salads if you don't want to create your own. And they always have a few interesting ones that they offer seasonally or monthly; i.e. the San Antonio, the Cairo and the Hokkaido Salad with interesting ingredients inspired by said regions. It's easy to please everyone at Chop't"; vegan folk, gluten intolerant's and even those who need heartier/heavier meals (their salads are all offered as burritos as well.) I know I'm gushing, but I really believe this to be the salad mecca. Another great thing about Chop't? Their soda is all natural and sweetened with Stevia, not evil splenda. They have calorie counts listed for their suggested salads and each individual topping, so if you're super health conscious or just inclined to calorie count, this place has got you covered. You can also order online and pick up. Oh, one caveat I guess. Chop't is not cheap. My husband and I each got salads and a soda and the bill was almost $30. Not so bad but this is an eatery without table service etc. However, their product is super high quality and the salads are very large. I will back again and again. You should visit as well!

But the Red Dot seems to nail every single dish. We started with the multigrain vegan waffle with fresh fruit and loved it! So clean and flavorful, with perfectly ripe fruit. I do think the fruit should have been included, because it would have been a bit plain without it. Next, we had the ancient grains kitchari which was incredible. We loved all the fresh vegetables perfectly cooked, adding a variety of textures and flavors. It is offered as mild, medium, or hot; we got hot, which was great but not overly spicy, and we might request extra spicy next time. Lastly, we got the breakfast paratha wrap filled with their incredible tofu scramble. We were so impressed by how non-greasy it was (both the paratha and the scramble). We are always looking for food that isn't overly salty or oily, which is hard to find, but the Red Dot managed to do everything perfectly. Also major props to their masala chai, made super fresh with your choice of milk. The soy milk was creamy and pleasantly sweet and it didn't even require adding sugar. So rare to find vegan masala chai. The food takes fairly long to come out, but we felt it was worth it because of how delicious everything was; we also appreciated the generous portions. I think we have found one of our new favorite restaurants!

I had this place bookmarked on Yelp and so glad we finally got to come!…read more First of all, the photos don't do this place justice or even walking by it because inside, it's a whole vibe. A friend said it looked like somewhere in Williamsburg and I couldn't agree more. Came here with friends to enjoy a night of catching up and enjoying delicious drinks and food. We started with some drinks - I got the snap dragon with tequila, mezcal, snap pea juice, vermouth and lime. The presentation was everything! From the local cheese to the crudite (edamame dip + seasonal vegetables). Their seasonal farm to table menu is everything. We were absolutely mind blown by the zucchini with pistachio pesto. From the way it was scored to the way it was cooked to the delicious sauce. A perfect 10! For my entree, I ordered the wild mushroom risotto (great vegetarian options here by the way). My ooooooooonly "complaint" is that it was for sure on the saltier side and waaaaaaaaaay too much garlic for my personal taste. That's the only thing it felt like it took over and overpowered the dish. And my breath lol! HAHA Other than that, can't wait to come back here on a date. The indoor/outdoor space is incredible. Loved dining with the big back garage/style door open so you can be inside but have a bit of the outside with you. This place is incredible and can't wait to try more of their dishes. Also, be patient. Food and items might seem to take longer, and it's absolutely worth it. Everything is being prepared for you on the spot :)

We ordered a Lumen Tonic, Garden, coffee, satay, two Low & Slow dishes, and an Upstream. The service was friendly as always, and the drinks were good. However, the food was noticeably different from what I've come to expect. The portions were significantly smaller than on previous visits, and several ingredients had been changed. I understand and appreciate the farm-to-table concept and seasonal menu rotations, but this felt less like a thoughtful seasonal update and more like substitutions that diminished the dishes. Earlier this year, the presentation, ingredient balance, and portion sizes were outstanding. This time, all three fell short, and no one at our table enjoyed the meal as much as before. The biggest disappointment, however, was the patio experience. Throughout our lunch, staff repeatedly wheeled leaking garbage bags past our table from the trash storage area, leaving liquid on the ground and a strong odor. The smell was noticeable from the moment we sat down and made what should have been a pleasant outdoor meal much less enjoyable. This seems like an operational issue that deserves immediate attention, as guests should never have to dine next to leaking trash. I've attached photos showing the liquid that leaked from the garbage bags and the location of the trash storage area. I'm also including photos from a previous visit so the owners can see the difference in presentation and portion sizes. I didn't take photos of the food this time because, quite honestly, the dishes were no longer photo-worthy--a stark contrast to my previous visits, when they were both beautiful and generous. I genuinely hope this was an off day because The Wild has been one of my favorite places in the area. The restaurant has a great concept, and the staff has always been welcoming. But if the smaller portions, ingredient changes, and dining experience I had on this visit become the new standard, I'm not sure I'll be returning. I sincerely hope the owners take this feedback to heart and preserve the quality that earned them loyal customers in the first place.

But the more we looked into the menu, the more excited we became. I would say their specialty is burgers and sandwiches. Virtually every ingredient is made from scratch daily (except the sourdough bread, from a local farm), including impressive items like multiple types of burger patty and cheesy cashew sauce. We were so excited about their food that we went three days in a row! Day 1: The Fogwood smoky burger was outstanding. The BLT was also delicious; we loved the smoke salted tofu. For a lighter option, we got the sunshine curry quinoa chickpea bowl. It was healthy and nutritious, although I felt the flavor profile was a bit off; it was heavy on the curry powder and weirdly sweet. The side of mac and cheese was GREAT. We loved the sauce made from sweet potatoes, carrots, and cashews (I think it was oil-free). Not heavy or creamy, just flavorful and good! For dessert, we got the lavender almond cupcake which we LOVED. It was gluten-free, although you wouldn't guess it. It had a perfect fluffy texture and great nuanced flavor. We loved that it wasn't made with coconut oil (just olive oil). Truly special. The vast majority of their desserts (as well as their homemade cheeses) do contain coconut oil. Day 2: The patty melt sandwich was a big hit. Incredible flavor. The Levi Reuben served over greens (instead of on bread) was also delicious. We loved the fennel sage patty and the homemade sauerkraut. We got the kids' PB&J as a snack which was SO good with homemade peanut butter and homemade raspberry jam. Very impressive. Lastly, we couldn't resist getting the signature Snickers-inspired bar, which was so good it should be illegal. Day 3: We were excited to try their daily special, the teriyaki chili rice bowl, made with homemade ginger tofu patties. It was delicious, although it could have used some greens. We tried two more of their burgers to explore the menu further, the flirty burger and the teriyaki burger, and both were great. A devastating disappointment came when, even though we walked in within 10 minutes of their opening, they had already sold out of the special dessert advertised on their Instagram, the carrot spice cupcake with pecan glaze, the only dessert they had that was coconut-free. It seems like they inexplicably only make 4-6 cupcakes per day and then don't make more even if they sell out?! (Who does that??) Overall, we loved the food and are so glad they exist. Major props for making so many things from scratch. We really appreciated how nothing was fried or greasy, really hard to find these days. They also deserve special mention for having top-notch service. All the employees were so kind and accommodating, and every dish came out quickly and made to perfection.
