Chopt is essentially Chipotle/Subway for Salads. I enjoyed a spicy chicken salad and the mint cucumber tea. Both the meal and the drink were light. The place felt like an upscale fast food place. In some way similar to Starbucks and definitely catered to a similar clientele. They did run out of Pita Bread when I went, but the flex to the salad was just as good. read more

BLESSED to have a Chopt closer to me! I can never make my way to the Brentwood location and a second location is now at the Green Hills Mall. For a first-timer I went the easy route and orders a salad from the menu and I was very impressed with it and how they prepare each salad to your liking. They also have warm bowls that use rice or quinoa as a base and with over 20 different dressings that will make your dish just right. The service was very friendly and helpful. The building is visually pleasing and there are tons of places to sit and when the weather gets better there is some outdoor seating that I want to try out! read more

Another good healthy alternative in the Green Hills area. Chopt is like the salad version of CAVA right next door. They have a menu for pre-arranged ingredients and one for customizable ones. I went with their Harvest warm bowl with grains or riced cauliflower (which is what I got to lower the carby calories), Creamy Lemon Herb Dressing and topped with warm roasted chicken, roasted Brussels sprouts & sweet potatoes, marinated kale, toasted pumpkin seeds. Pretty tasty, but definitely make sure you tell them how much dressing you want on your salad/bowl. They had mine covered in dressing which made it a little too watery and soupy for me, but it wasn't as bad when I mixed all the ingredients together. read more

I grabbed salads for myself and my mother in law at this location of Chopt at Green Hills Mall a few weeks ago, and the experience was totally a-okay. This location is on the north side of the mall next to the other new restaurants (CAVA and North Italia), so you enter from the parking lot - not from inside the mall. When I visited, it was fast, and my mother in law both got what we wanted. Simple salad bar, but a good lunch if you want something light and fast. The worst thing about it is the location. It's pretty hard to find parking in the area of the parking lot where Chopt is located, so I usually park in the garage by the movie theater and walk over - short walk and way easier than stalking people waiting for a spot! read more

I've had my order messed up a few times (ex: ordered salad with no meat, they put chicken on it, picked it out, but some pieces were still in the salad when I ate it). Placed an order for curbside pickup. Waited 20 mins past the specified time & decided to just go inside and pick it up. I immediately saw my order sitting on the counter and walked up to the counter to grab my prepaid food. The manager looks me in the eyes then yells to everyone in the store, "OHHH LOOKS LIKE WE HAVE A JUMPER HERE." Was unnecessarily rude, especially since I'd already been waiting. Won't be returning. Heard decent things about this place. The pictures looked good but hands down worst salad place I've been to. Two salads costing $35 one had the wrong dressing, no chicken and the Romain was slimy. My salad was shrimp and half of them had to Devein myself and tasted strange. When I called the manager said he won't do anything about the shrimp. i would maybe say ok if it was a Kroger to go or something $6-7 but felt like 14 year olds made this and manager could care less. Absolutely love that Nashville is expanding its clean eating market. Chopt is the newest addition to the Green Hills area offering a plethora of options in salads, and protein bowls. Yesterday night they had their soft opening, partnering with a local non-profit that exchanged a donation for a menu item and beverage. This is such a fun, fresh shop filled with light colors, artwork, and furniture that very much fit in with Nashville's hip aesthetic. The food options were endless, as you can choose between classic menu options OR do a build-your-own. The service was extra friendly, with people welcoming you, helping you find a table, clearing and cleaning, and helping you choose between the many options. I cannot wait to come back and try more of their fresh options! This place is really hit or miss. Our last order there included a kale Caesar salad. The kale was yellowed and past wilted. It was unedible. There were 6-8 people working in this restaurant and none of them could figure out they were selling old kale. This is simply incompetent. I never write reviews, but this one is necessary. Chopt has all the ingredients to be a fantastic salad spot, but is brought down by awful customer service. Masks not being worn while preparing food, employees that take absolutely no care and just grab ingredients with hands, and even start applying dressing before they've even asked which one I wanted. And then when I asked them to remake it, they look at me like I have three heads. Like im sorry you decided to add dressing before you give me the option to choose?? This has happend the last two times Ive been here. Love the food from this place, but if they cant get it together they'll continue to lose customers like me in droves, which seems to already be happening anyways. Let me start by saying I'm a HUGE fan of Chopt, but their Abbott Martin location in Green Hills is awful with quality!! On 4 consecutive occasions, they've delivered my salad with either no dressing, or the wrong dressing. How can you be in the salad business and make consistent errors with salad dressing!!! There is always an excuse that they have "trainees" on the line, but I've ordered delivery service 4 times over a 5 month period and it's been wrong EACH TIME. Its not a one-off situation, this is how this store operates. It's definitely a management and quality assurance issue. The Franklin store in Brentwood is great. Green Hills is horrible. I know one customers' complaint doesn't affect change, but by the reviews on this location, someone should be listening. The Green Hills location is absolutely horrible. I visited chopt tonight and they were slammed, but there was one girl there in particular, I think she may have been a manager, who was killing it. She was polite to customers, cheering on her teammates telling them they were doing great. You could tell many of the staff were new and she was helping them, reciting off how to make different salads while stocking the lettuce at the same time. I did not catch her name, but if she's not already a manager, she should be. She wore her hair in a wrap and had on a New York sweatshirt. Even better, there was a customer who didn't know that they don't accept cash after a certain hour. She offered to help the customer out so she could still get her salad. 5 stars solely for this woman who deserves a raise! read more

Food is good enough, but the online ordering service leaves a lot to be desired. Doesn't matter what time of day you try to order, it takes 45-60 minutes to preorder food on the app. If you want client adoption of online services just like every other corporation, at least make it positive. read more
