The service was absolutely horrible. Every. single. employee on staff acted like I was a burden to be in the restaurant. I was disrespected in more ways than one. For example, after ordering a soup and asking for a spoon, I was lied to about them being out of spoons. Then from behind the counter a spoon was just about thrown at my head. Love their spicy Caesar salad dressing and their portions are huge! Lines especially get long at the Brentwood location during lunch and dinner. While trying to ask the woman who was making my bowl for a different dressing( who didn't ask which dressing I wanted in the first place) another woman came from behind her and YELLED AT ME for not telling her sooner and demanded "I never do that again" Keep in mind I didn't even ask for them to remake my salad!! Brentwood location is better - they actually chop up the salad and I like it much better. Neither locations clean the tables as well as they should imo. I personally do not like eating at a table that has not been cleaned/sanitized so it's a problem for me. read more

Used to love this place but it just keeps getting worse. Every time that I go now there's either something I didn't ask for in my salad, it's not chopped up (found a whole half of an avocado in my last salad), I'm waiting 10 minutes even though I received a text that my order was ready, and the salads just keep getting smaller. Another great healthy option added to the Green Hills shopping area. Fresh food, friendly service! Since it was my first time I started off simple and got a "Classic Cobb" salad. I substituted the chicken for shrimp and added some apples (0.79 upcharge). I then chose balsamic & lemon herb dressing. The young lady who made my salad was patient & even let me sample some dressings. The salad was phenomenal! Additionally, the "mandarin cardamom cooler" was a very light & refreshing beverage. Extremely disappointed with this place. I was hungry and tired and just wanted something quick and healthy to eat. I walked in and the employees were so rude they would not stop talking to each other and literally ignored me. The food looked so messy and unsanitary and she didn't even toss my salad like they usually do, she just threw it all in a bowl and she even forgot my dressing. Met friends here for lunch. The company was great and everyone liked their salads. However, the service is horrible. Staff has terrible attitudes. One employee was taking a nap in a booth. Another was sleeping on the bench outside the restrooms. His arm was out where you could barely get to the woman's restroom. Very creepy. The manager took another booth to do paperwork and interviews. This was all during lunch hour. The store only has 3-4 booths. Very weird. Every employee we were in contact with hates being there and treats you badly because they are. It was not very clean considering it's fairly new and we are coming off a pandemic. If you are set on Chopt, go to the Brentwood location. read more

This is nothing like the original locations in the Northeast. Part of what makes Chopt so unique is how finely they chop the salads...not the case here. My bowl was filled with huge pieces. I went here yesterday for lunch and informed the employees I had celiacs and absolutely could not have gluten. First off, they were extremely rude to my friend and I and obviously did not care to take my allergy seriously. I asked if the falafel was gluten free (because allergens are not listed on their menu in stores). The employee assured me it was. They proceeded to finish up my salad and then the same lady asked if wanted BREAD?? Uhhh I know your bread is not gluten free .. Anyways, I asked again "are you sure the falafel is gluten free?" And she sighed and was obviously annoyed and said "YES, it is gluten free." Being celiac I have to put a lot of faith in employees to use safety measures and double check on allergens, and it can be a bit scary eating out. I got half way through my salad, and started feeling funky. I decided to look up the allergens on their app, and my heart sank. THE FALAFEL CONTAINS WHEAT! I went back up to the counter and said, "Look on your app it says it contains wheat." AND they still had the audacity to rudely say "It's gluten free!" Like no it's obviously not!! I am so concerned for all the people they've gotten sick. Anyways here I am, in extreme pain, very sick, and very angry. They could be sending people to the hospital and they really need to get a handle on their training. The terrible reviews here are true. Let's start out with my meal varying in price from $19-$27 depending on who rings me up despite the fact that I always order the exact same thing. Second, I always go here and order a salad or wrap to have it actually chopped which they now only offer by request. My most recent visit I had a middle aged blonde woman helping me and when I asked to have it chopped she said "it already is". I politely repeated that I would like to have it chopped with a knife not just mixed in a bowl. She proceeded to pick up the kale and ask me "is this not chopped enough for you" and proceeded to add dressing and mix it up without honoring my request. Then after doing so insincerely offered to make it again. I go to this restaurant and ask to have it chopped because my severely autistic child likes the chicken chopped into smaller pieces. Too much to ask in Green Hills. I'll drive further to Brentwood where they are polite and friendly like a chick fil a. This Chopt gives off more KFC vibes. Rude idiots. read more
