Ugh, I came here because it was getting too haute outside...I initially went to Shake Shack on M St, across from my office but doors were closed. Realized now after google search SS moved to the other side of the Nats stadium, ugh, and no one bothered to tell me. Lol, to be fair, I'm not the super fan of SS, hubby is so when I was on the phone with him just before lunch- he declared if he worked in my area héd go to SS. So, I thought, sure i'd get a single...now, i feel like a dummy. And because temp was not as agreeable and after going around a couple of blocks I end up here where it is lined up with bars & restaurant...in conclusion, I stopped in at this Chop't and I actually liked my salad today plus good staff compelled me to fork out 4 stars! It's not Seattlés Evergreens but hey...close. Besides, Clean seating area was a nice refuge from edging sweltering heat!!! Still would appreciate fountain drinks cups vs bottled or cartoned juices so of course, a 4!

Ranch chicken Salad tastes amazing, BUT there was a bone in my chicken. I'm so glad my tooth didn't break because I but down pretty hard not realizing the bone was there. The store was crowded, but the service was good.

I placed a delivery order. This was my first time having Chopt. Being as though all they do is salad and I looooove a good Cobb salad. My expectations were high. The salad is nice in size. The price is good for the amount you get. Delivery service was fine. What I didn't like was the fact my salad had avocado inside! I hate avocado and it didn't specify this item was in the salad when I was ordering online. (Or maybe I looked too fast??) and I like to add my own fessing in my salad, sometimes people can be too heavy on the dressing. However the dressing ration was fine. I think you might can tell them to add the dressing in the side? Next time I know. I will def order again

The wrong salad that's what it is.

Completely wrong salad. Livid! I just knew they wasn't going to mess it up as I have ordered in person a few times. Do not order via app because the amount of care going into the salad is not the same. Missing most of the ingredients that I paid for and the salad is completely soggy. I asked for the dressing on the side. Nope.

I don't think I've ever been disappointed in a SALAD! My first time going and I got the Kale Caesar salad. No extras, I'm good on what it comes with. EXCEPT! I asked the lady if I could have "warm chicken", she said yes!! So when it was time to pay she said $13.50, I looked at the menu, and stated that the price says $8.99, she said "well you got roasted chicken". I'm like, huh, I asked for warm chicken. She just stared at me, Smh! Now, the salad had no taste!! This 'roasted chicken" that I paid for taste like bland chicken and the dressing didn't have a Caesar taste at all. Not to mention, for $13 y'all should have filled that container up!!!

    Mediterranean Bowl. Gochujang Crunch Salad

Great spot for something fresh and good. We had the Mediterranean and Gochujang Crunch. It's nice to have it all made fresh in front of you so the warm ingredients don't with the others. Quick, friendly staff. Would recommend for a great lunch.

I have constantly been disappointed by this place. Two times I have used the app to order a salad and both times they failed to give me all of the ingredients in my order. Today I ordered the crispy chicken ranch salad with avocado and several other additions to which I paid extra for (you can see in the image) and they ignored my order and gave me the basic salad. I cannot recommended enough times to double check your salad throughly to ensure that the things you paid for are in there.

Chopt Creative Salad Co. on First Street in DC is a great place to go for delicious and well prepared salads that are freshly made. I have been happy with all of the purchases that I have made from here and their level of customer service.

I love everything about this place! I can eat a chicken Cesar Salad daily! This place good for lunch or dinner! Eat meal with fulfill your appetite quick and want a nap afterwards. You would think to yourself, "it was just a salad but I'm super full"....if you don't know, a salad will fill you up faster then anything else. I love everything about this place!

I came here shortly before closing one night and got the Texas Po' Boy, which I would relabel the Blandest Salad in All the Land. It was just lacking flavor in most any regard. Both times that I have come to this Chopt, I have wished that I'd gone to Sweetgreen instead, just a few blocks away. Womp womp.

I ordered the chimichurri steak plate and really enjoyed it. Funnily enough, the chimichurri itself was the least enjoyable item. I didn't love the texture of it (much too coarse) but, fortunately, it was packaged in a small container separate instead of on the steak itself. The salad probably had a bit too much dressing but I had the option to order that on the side so that's on me. Nonetheless, the steak, potatoes, salad, corn, avocado were all excellent. I also added chips, a lemon zest cookie, and a blueberry breeze handcrafted drink. The cookie is big and chewy, unlike others I have had. It's definitely not something to eat in one sitting. The drink was a little blah and nothing I would order again. All in all, very good!

The only complaint I have for the southwest beef was that it was cold. The description did not show that it would be cold. I removed a star for the cleanliness of the place. That restaurant moved to Penn Quarter a year ago and it's been about 4 years since I last went. I didn't even think I was in a new restaurant until I couldn't find the gold rabbit logo. The interior of the two restaurants is similar enough and having rolls with salmon roe topping your honey miso butter is not far off from what you might have found eating a fried chicken dish with a subtle Vietnamese twist at Moon Rabbit. The concept of WillowSong is nothing new: farm-to-table. But the flavors are beyond what we could of expected! The waiter explained how the chefs source their food from farms within a certain geographical radius. I definitely recommend a visit here for a special dinner that will leave you wanting to come back. The house made milk bread was served piping hot. The aroma - as I picked one roll up - was so indicative of bread you knew you were going to enjoy. The honey miso butter was not typical, and I loved it. It had a citrusy aftertaste and was not too sweet. I didn't eat the salmon roe - mentioned earlier topping the honey miso butter - but it was an interesting juxtaposition. The Squid Ink Oricchiette - black elbow pasta - was lovely. I asked the waiter, "Which is more popular here, the sea bass or the oricchiette?" He confidently said that if he had to choose, it would be the oricchiette and the Yelp reviews say the same. There was an inherent subtle heat and the jumbo lump crab meat was tasty. The squid ink pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and the tomato jus herb crumble was well-seasoned. The micro greens garnish added such a nice, crisp crunch. The citrus olive oil ricotta - underneath of the pasta - had a good balancing effect. The grilled maple citrus pork chop - when featured - is a not-to-miss! The flavors were divine. You got the sweetness of the maple sauce and a really nice sear with the char-grilled aftertaste. Just the kind of flavor I look for. Cutting into the pork chop was easy as it was so tender. All of the herb and vegetable flavors in the charred gratin (Swiss chard simmered in a creamy garlic sauce) really came together for something delightful. The Swiss chard was cooked well, yet had a good crunch with a definite farm-to-table flavor, straight from the garden. We were here on a weekend night. A rowdier after-9pm crowd formed for a televised game. I've seen it much busier here on weeknights at Moon Rabbit, before 9pm, and the waiter said the crowds here are similar. I liked that it was more bustling on the boardwalk and calmer inside of this restaurant, before the sporting event crowd around the bar. There are so many restaurants to choose from at the Wharf, and many of them are packed and touristy. When you step inside of WillowSong, there is no crowding and the environment is calm. I would next like to try the Hamache Tartar. It is made with chili oil, preserved lemon, scallion, cashew, Eva's Garden mouse melon, serrano and cilantro. The staff said the breakfasts at WillowSong are very popular and are from 9am to 1pm. Cornmeal pancakes? Hello. Look at the Yelp photos to see the breakfast offering deliciousness at WillowSong. If the birthday dessert that we enjoyed was any indication, I would have to believe him. It was a chocolate brownie-like pastry with granola and graham crust, flowers and fruit. The dark chocolate ganache was decadent. This was a hazelnut dessert which I would have never ordered because I find the flavor overpowering. They kindly surprised us by bringing out a dessert they chose, with a lit candle and singing. I was so glad that the hazelnut flavor was subtle and that it did not taste like a Nutella dessert. The birthday dessert was subtlety-flavored with hazelnut but chocolatey and rich, otherwise. I think there was oatmeal or granola in it. This was a decadent experience. Love that the restaurant has margaritas and sangrias on draught. In the sangria you can find: mango purée, white wine, apple brandy and soda water. Would love to try, next time. As much as I love the Vietnamese fusion fare at Moon Rabbit, I was equally as delighted with the more global dining experience at WillowSong. And the lovely, warm service.

We grabbed a seat and did not wait long for our food to come out. I really enjoyed my burger and scarfed it down! I paid for sauces, which were tiny and super overpriced. Hubs enjoyed his cheesesteak but he prefers meat. I had a bite and thought it was really flavorful and very closely tasting like the real thing. I noticed later this is a chain, which is pretty cool. I think the prices were pretty steep so I might skip on the fries next time. The food could have been warmer as well. Definitely worth a visit and will most likely be back when in DC again.

I've done high tea at other locations for a cheaper price AND more/ better quality food. I also found a short light brown hair (I have long black hair) that was baked into one of my scones. At the moment I alerted the say, I could tell they were surprised so they didn't know how to react so they said a quick sorry and just brushed it off. Later someone came out while I was in the restroom and gave my friend a very half hearted apology - I personally did not get one. They didn't really do anything for us to show they were taking the situation that seriously... hopefully this isn't something that happens but I can't be sure... The service overall was disappointing for such a well known hotel. Starting with the hostesses, they didn't seem very welcoming or helpful. We came early and let them know, they just stood there and acknowledged that we were early, they didn't suggest if we could wait at the bar - I had to ask. I don't normally expect that sort of thing but at a place like this, I did expect the staff to be a little more helpful than they were. At the end we went to the restroom and it was a bit busy so we were in there for a little while. We came back and a waiter ran out to us and gave us the bill while we were standing. It was my mistake for not asking about the bill earlier because I thought I paid for the high tea experience online. We planned on going back to our seats but they took everything away already.... We also had a long period of time where no one came out to give us a bill or ask how we were so we were left on our own to figure out what to do. Overall even though the location was beautiful, I think the experience was a very poor representation of the hotel. I would not recommend anyone doing high tea here, there are far better options elsewhere. One thing I do want to point out is that the car attendants were very kind.
