We had a very late lunch around 2 pm, but that's considered "normal" for Filipinos and the counter was full! You can order your food, leave to check the surrounding dining hall area or do your groceries, and your food will be waiting on the counter. FOOD: Asado siopao was warm and delicious to bite into. Add the brown sauce for an extra kick of juiciness! DRINK: Sago et Gulaman/Black Jelly is just the perfect amount of sweetness that pairs nicely with the siopao. DESSERT: Buchi is a medium-sized ball of red bean paste inside. The serving comes in 6 balls for only $2.99! Taho is also pretty delicious. It's a hot and sugary delight with chewy boba floating about the soup. Do note that you need a key to use the clean restrooms! I always enjoy going to Chowking especially when we lived in the Philippines, this is one of our go to fast food restaurants chains that actually offers great food! When we went to Vegas I saw that they are offering breakfast! so I need to try it, they have few selections for their breakfast and i ordered the longanissa with egg served with garlic fried rice and it was amazing! brought back wonderful memories while we were living in Philippines. My husband got the pancit and he loves it! and I love that he thought that the squid ball was water chestnuts lol and I have to explain to him that it was not water chestnuts but I'm glad he loved it. We loved Chowking so much that we came back the next day for breakfast but this time I ordered their beef noodles and my husband ordered the same thing and I also ordered Taho! The beef noodles looks better on the picture than what it actually taste lol it was just okay, the taho was the same but at least it fixed my craving for taho. Steaming hot bun. They have bbq pork or chinese sausage. We prefer the bbq pork one. The chinese sausage lack flavor and not what we used to had. This is a Filipino style steam bun not chinese or vietnamese one. Still taste great and the bun are fresh and soft. Very hard to find a good bun around Vgeas. Glad we were able to find one. I wish they have one around southwest or summerlin. It was quite a drive from where we are. Came here with my brother and mom a few days ago. I haven't had Chow King in forever. We ordered their breakfast entrees and Siomai. My mom got the Bangus and Longanisa. I got the Bangus and Tocino. My brother got the tocino and longanisa. I opened my food and I see a piece of hair in my food. That was disgusting to see in my food. So, I went back and showed my food to the worker. She gave me a new one. I was very disappointed with the portion sizes. They were so small. We were still hungry. I rather go to Grill City because they give more for their Breakfast combos. Rude cashier name Geraldine. We ordered beef wonton and then she asked again what kind of wonton soup. We said it too many times that we wanted 3 beef wonton soup , but when we received our order it was pork! We didn't made a big deal of it until she approached my daughter to leave a feed back and bribe us to be given a siopao for free. I am not all about free meals but would really appreciate it it if she does a better service to all customers and be respectful. I do not recommend your business anymore because of bad service. Besides the fact I saw some cockroaches on the walls I saw one of the managers drilling a hole into the wall with all the food and utensils nearby, whilst making a bunch of squeaking noises which made it unpleasant to order. The food was alright and most of the employees were really helpful and understanding, but I dislike the surrounding area of where this place is located.
