My husband and I have been coming to Los Cedros Mexican Restaurant for years. We're from Los Angeles, but every time we visit Las Vegas, this place is an absolute must. Not only do they play the best music, but the whole atmosphere transports you into a magical little wonderland the moment you walk in. It's vibrant, welcoming, and just has that special energy you can't fake. And the food? Always delicious and generous. Today I ordered the ceviche thinking I'd get one or two tostadas--but instead, they brought out this huge molcajete-style serving packed with fresh seafood. I was honestly shocked (in the best way). MAKE SURE TO CHECK YOUR CREDIT CARD STATEMENTS FOR FRAUD! I visited Los Cedros back in October 2025 and have not been back since because the food was awful. It's now February 2026, and I just checked my credit card statement to find they just charged me $18 over the weekend. I was NOT there and have not been there for over 4 months! I personally went to the restaurant today when I uncovered the fraudulent charge, and the incredibly RUDE manager said he's been getting calls all day about customers being charged. He said the machine has been having issues since September 2025 (it's now February 2026), and they just fixed it, so everyone was charged for the tip they gave months ago. News flash, you can't charge a customer 4 months later. The manager was rude, flippant, even laughing about it. Thankfully, I had my husband there or I would not have gotten anywhere with this guy. He didn't even have the decency to apologize. He just kept talking down to me saying that I don't understand. What I understand is that he's lying. The charge on my card when I made the initial purchase back in October 2025 was " RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION." Meaning, the card was present. The tip charged 4 months later was "MANUALLY KEYED." Therefore, they had to manually enter my credit card information again in order to charge for the tip. The manager lied and said the system automatically charged everyone, and he had no power power over it. He then tried to say he had no idea how to even refund me. Having to dispute the fraud now. My experience at Los Cedros was awesome. As soon as we walked in the door, the staff was quick and very welcoming. The decor in this place is BEAUTIFUL. I found them in TikTok after they posted a video of the inside of their restaurant and I had to see it myself. It was pretty empty when we visited so it was nice to really sit in the ambiance and background music/bird chirping. We ordered a carne asada burrito and glad we only ordered one for the two of us because that thang was huuuge. Definitely enough for two people. The burrito was delicious. The horchata was ok.. it tasted a bit more like perfume rather than cinnamon, and the flan was a bit dry - but overall very worth coming back to try more foods! Good food, very reasonable prices, and significant portions. I found this place via a TikTok posting and I have to say, it didn't disappoint. The restaurant is medium sized and it's family owned. The decor is Mexican to the max but that doesn't really impact the food. I had two salsas Azada wet burrito and it was really good. I added some of the spicy green salsa that comes with the complimentary chips to add more spice to it. Overall, great food with plenty of parking space. The customer service is great too. This little Mexican restaurant is nicely decorated with employees who give the best service. The food was wonderful! The highlight for me were the refried beans, as I do not typically come across restaurants with good refried beans. You can tell the rice and beans were freshly made, and they weren't left out sitting in a warmer for some time. The molcajete for 2 was tasty as well, and I have such an admiration for their homemade tortillas. We also tried the 3 tacos combo with al pastor. The al pastor was a little dry, and they cubed the meat.. I don't think I would order it again during a revisit. There was only 2 of us eating, so we had plenty to take home. Even reheated, the food was still just as tasty! We also ordered the "hot guacamole." For us it was not spicy, but it was extremely flavorful. Other than the al pastor, everything was delicious! First of all the restaurant is full of decoration and so colorful. Waitstaff are kind and attentive. We went at lunch time during a work day so it was nice to get in and out. They don't offer a lunch menu but the food was pretty good. Our table ordered carnitas which were cooked well and street tacos and chilaquiles. A word of warning everything has cotija cheese so if you are not a fan just ask in advance. I am not a fan of cotija so I wish I would have paid more attention to the menu but now I know for next time and I plan to go again. read more

I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this place but I am all about giving an honest review so here are my thoughts... With all the promoted videos on tik tok, I had high expectations for this place. In my mind, I expected to walk into a "vibe" and listen to Mexican music playing in the background and see the servers dressed in Mexican culture. I didn't get that. The restaurant is exactly what you expect as far as the decor. It does seem a little cluttered but I have to say I was impressed with the amount of decor they are able to squeeze in and still manage to keep each leaf crystal clean - yes the place was very neat and tidy. With that being said, I can't say I was impressed with the service. It may have been because they were shy of closing time but I didn't feel a friendly vibe the entire time we were there and the server didn't appear interested in engaging in conversation. It took a minute to get our orders taken and it also took about 15 minutes before we got waters and that was because we asked for them. We ordered enchiladas in green sauce with shredded chicken, mixed fajitas, and a strawberry churro. The green sauce on the enchilada was not tomatillo based. If I had to guess, the sauce was made with poblano peppers and sour cream but the sauce lacked in flavor. Perhaps, tasting garlic, onion, and a slight spice would have set the sauce over the top because it looked nice and the texture was just right but I give the presentation 5 stars. A lot of love went into preparing and playing that dish. The rice was great in flavor but it contained some clumps and it may have been due to the fact that they were close to closing time. My boyfriend says that the fajitas were very nicely looked but lacked in seasoning and the churro was very tasty and served hot. Overall, it is a place to visit and experience the decor and take beautiful pictures but the as far as the dishes we've ordered, it's average at best. I am open to giving this place a second chance and perhaps visiting during peak hours and ordering a different menu item may change the experience. read more

Hidden gem near UNLV!! It's a vibe!! The Michelada's are to die for! The chips & salsa were bomb!! The Mole Enchilada entree was deee-licious!! Hands down excellent and I can't wait to return!! It was busy when we arrived ~7:30pm. While we waited, we perused the menu and then looked at all the decor. It's fabulous!! Pottery from Mexico, Frida Kahlo, Our Lady of Guadalupe, sombreros, butterflies, ivy, flowers, and more! Oh, gotta love the birds chirping!! Service was kind and attentive. Our party of four sat in a booth which was pretty comfy! The dining area is intimate, but they do have tables that can accommodate large parties. Our Michelada's were served in ceramic mugs and I just loved that the drink remained super cold throughout our meal. The chips tasted like they were freshly made and the salsa was the perfect! Two of us ordered the Mole Chicken Enchiladas. The rice and beans were actually my favorite part of the dish! The mole was on the sweeter side for me, but nonetheless still very good. LOVED this place. I was looking for some decent Mexican food, which besides tacos at El Gordo i have NOT found in Las Vegas and Los Cedros popped up. First of all, when you walk in, it literally looks like a rainforest Café hahahaha. But what I did notice it was a local's joint and we were the only caucasians there to eat their delicious Mexican food, which is a great sign! We ordered the guac to start which was excellent! And I ordered the whetto special (i made that up) chicken and shrimp fajitas. Oh my goodness these fajitas came out with handmade corn tortillas that we moaned as we ate them. Fajitas were excellent, rice and beans were solid and those darn hecha a mano corn tortillas blew my socks off! My wife got the rolled tacos (taquitos) with shredded beef that she loved. So i came across this place on my Instagram feed and have bene wanting to try it out since last November. I finally got the chance to try it out this past weekend. This place is authentic as can be for a Mexican place. Literally feels like your eating outside of your grandma's patio in Mexico. The people are very friendly and speak mostly spanish, so be patient if your not fluent in it. My gf and I split the Molcajete for 1 person as I asked our server if it was ample food and it was. The Molcajete came with plenty of shrimp, skirt steak, chicken, grilled green onions, cactus, jalepeno, chorizo, avocado, radishes, cheese and a slice of tomato as well. The red sauce in it was mild, not spicy at all, but full of flavor. Served with rice, beans with cotija cheese and homemade flour tortillas or corn tortillas if you prefer. When you do sit down they do serve you chips and salsa (both red & green) and the chips are freshly made! Plenty of parking outside and they open almost all week with the exception of closing one day. The whole experience was very good and I can't wait to make this one of my usual go to spots when I come to Vegas. ENJOY! read more

This place is hidden away in a lil parking lot in east lv. The inside is decorated wall to wall with Mexican themed artwork and fiesta style colors. The ceiling is a bit low for tall folks fyi. We had a rocky start as we were sat between two full booths while the rest of the restaurant was amply so that was awkward. For five minutes no one talked to us but the people seated after us began being served. As we looked at the menu we were a bit taken aback that the chips were $4 for refills, flavored ice tea came in a can and the fajitas were $35 for two but didn't come with sour cream or guac. When the waiter came to take our order he was very nice. And the evening only goes up from here. The chips are homemade and delicious. The red salsa is HOT and green mild. Both have a tangy aftertaste that had me dipping my entrees in it just to get more. We got chicken flautas which were a little bland - but that's normal to me - one of the reasons I like flautas. I dipped them in the green salsa and it made them *chefs kiss* muah muah muah. The rice was like no other Mexican or Spanish rice I've ever had. It was cooked to perfection but I have no clue what they spiced it with to give it the unique flavor. You just have to try it. The Al Pastor burrito was HUGE! The tortilla was soft and fluffy yet didn't fall apart at all. The seasoning and sauces were out of this world. Pretty sure they smoked the meat. Again - no clue what they seasoned the meat with but it was impossible to stop eating - literally had to have hubby take it away from me. If we didn't have the rocky start and they weren't a bit stingy on the prices I'd give it a 5. We did post online and got 15% off though so can't complain there. This place has been on my list to try for awhile now and I was finally able to go! So glad I did!! First off the decor is incredible. I love the decor!! There is "stuff" everywhere you look. But it's clean. I can't imagine who cleans all this, but they do a good job. There are several booths and a few long tables. They do not take reservations, but there is a good amount of seating. The chips are definitely homemade. They also bring you two salsas. The menu does say the first basket is complimentary but after that there is a charge. My sister ordered a burrito and it was big! She said it tasted amazing. I went with the carne asada tacos. They were filled full of meat! It came with rice and beans. Everything had good flavor. And great prices! The service was great!!
