Took my baby Xhula to get groomed for the first time and omg 10/10 experience. The staff was super chill and friendly, and they treated her like an absolute queen. I was kinda nervous since she can get anxious, but they were so patient and made her feel totally at ease. When I picked her up, she looked and smelled AMAZING!!! She was super clean and I swear she knew she looked good because she was strutting around like a little model lol. They are definitely the cheapest in town.. So I would have recommended them in the past if you was really desperate and low on funds. Now I wouldn't recommend them to anyone especially after they call themselves going to on the price for some unprofessional, uneven, poor, backyard boogie hair cuts. It doesn't matter what haircut/trim you request just expect to get their "special" which is the same cut they give to every dog no matter the breed or texture of hair. They only use clippers. They don't comb out the dogs nor use scissors. Also expect uneven cuts. Let's not forget the place is not exactly people nor dog friendly. It's definitely more on the trap house side of dog groomers. He normally charges $50 and I deal with the uneven cuts but recently he tried to up charge me $60 without warning. I brought him 5 dogs to give him business for dogs I was pet sitting and upfront explained the needs of each dog which was matting on the hind legs which he said was no problem initially. I explained that the owner was okay with it being shaved off. He waited until after he cut all 5 of the dogs to charge $60 per dog claiming they were all matted. Not to mention one only the dogs looked like a naked mole rat. How do you cut Maltese completely bald?? Then he had the audacity to yell at me and tell me not to come back after I just brought him more business than he ever deserved. Needless to say I had stopped personally bringing my personal pets to him months ago so now he has lost alot of business that I have brought him over the years. My dog was taken here for grooming, my pet came back limping and no appetite. 10 days later my dogs dying due to there negligence. His belly is swollen. No appetite, won't drink water . Throwing up . If I would have checked Yelp I would have my pet healthy and running around like his usual self . Don't take your pet here . I went to ask if any pet had gotten sick or if they had any bag experience. This lady just said nope we don't medicate the pets . Which that was never asked I had asked if any pet has been sick or if any pet owner had came back experiencing any problems. They wanted to just brush me off . I'm so upset! These people try but they should not be in the business of dog grooming. Tom both my dog and both came back with minor cuts. I didn't notice it until the next day. One had a scar with dry blood in the ear and the others had a cute on his paw. Ill never take my dogs back. And they're prices are not true. One had in front of drive way says $35, another at the door front says $40 and when tryouts ready to pay they say $45!!! Asked for them to be shaved but the male to keep his beard since he had it long and nice we just wanted his body shaved they completely shaved his beard of. one of my girls also had a cut on her ear. I complained and they said that the owner wasn't there and they didn't care. They did charge me 150 for them its way to expensive for them not to do it properly. Don't ever go here! read more

This is an awful place. I took my puppy. They left him looking horrible, but that wasn't the worst thing they traumatize him. He was not able to eat for days and would not get out of bed when he was a very fun loving energetic puppy. I took my dogs R2 and Maggie to get hair cuts at a new place because their regular groomer is currently out of state and we noticed "Jenny's Pet Grooming" and figured it's a small local business so it would be nice to give them some support. Not only did they do a horrendous job with the cuts but my dog Maggie came home with the inability to move her neck to the left and when she would attempt to do so she would get stuck halfway trembling and put her head back down. We noticed this immediately when we brought her home from the groomers and decided to take her to the vet immediately. We get there and we're told that she had significant inflammation of the neck and that it was most likely caused by a forceful tug. She was given a localized injection and meds to take home. The vet said we should contact the groomer because their malpractice grooming insurance should cover the bill and when we went back to the groomer she tried giving me every excuse in the book and when she finally realized all her excuses made her sound braindead she gave me her manager's number. Her manager who was not there when my dogs were being groomed as she was at this establishment (Chris Dog Grooming) insisted that it was impossible and that I should have taken my dog back to THEM instead of going to the vet. (Pause for laughter) I let her know I was simply complying with the steps needed to get this resolved so she could either pay the vet bill or the claim could be submitted to court and she just kept screaming that she didn't do anything and to get the lawyer and such so that should tell you enough about whether or not you want to take your dog to this place. Included are pictures of the vet bill, video of when we brought her home and realized she couldn't even move her neck for a treat, her neck right after grooming and her neck after she got the anti inflammatory shot. You can clearly see the collar being tighter when the neck is inflamed and how her ear and neck are practically touching, in the one after the shot the collar looks looser and her neck isn't as inflamed so not as close to her ear. read more

On Saturday I took my dog for a hair cut and the lady said she was very noted to expect her hair very low. I said ok I understood. She ask if my dog bites? I said no. A few hours later I got a call when I pick her up she was terrified. I thought it was normal because she just spent time with strangers and other dogs. We got home and notice she was not herself didn't want me touch her and she was walking weird like something was bothering her in her butt, Sunday I try to take her on a walk for her to pee and poo, she continued walking weird, when she finally went there was blood in her stool. It's Monday and she acting not herself very aggressive and still appears there's something wrong with her butt. I'm not sure what this people did to her for $70 you would think you get better treatment we suspect they might have used force on her because she was a very well mannered dog and obedient dog and now she won't let us touch her and she bitting, as if we are going to hurt her. Never ever taking my dogs back there. Scottish Terriers are known for their long eyelashes. I specifically told them to leave his lashes alone. They cut them off. Payed $45 but I wasn't happy. I was very upset but I gave them a second chance with my bigger dog in which they charged me $60 to basically bathe him only. They called me frantically to pick him up bc he was having anxiety in the cage. He looked the same to me except with a little wet hair and an uneven trim on his backend. I came home full of hair on my clothes and in my car and had to comb him out bc he was full of flying hairs. I was very disappointed in their service. DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE! It is at times like this that I wish there was the option to rate zero stars. I brought my dad's puppy here to get a full groom (bath, shower, nails, ear cleaning, etc.). I showed the "groomer" a picture of the type of cut I wanted, I even sent it to her phone! The evening I picked him up I was in disbelief and stupidly payed for the BOTCHED hair cut. When I returned the next day to ask for a refund, they refused and said it didn't matter if I was unhappy with their work!!! They also gave me the excuse that the dog "wouldn't let himself" (their words not mine). They completely shaved him way shorter than I asked for and besides that, it was terribly done. I didn't take him back for to attempt to fix what they screwed up because the puppy was afraid of me and would run whenever I raised my hand to pet him. Almost certain they mistreated him based on the comment that, "he wouldn't let himself". I could almost guarantee they have no kind of certification or training. It may be affordable but if you want the job well done and want to keep your dog SAFE, take them elsewhere! It'll be worth the extra few bucks.
