Wings tossed in ChrisP Chili Oil
    Jenny W.

His chicken is so yum! The batter on the chicken wings is REALLY good. Like delicious, addicting, and CRISPY; living up to its name! I prefer the regular plain wings, but I tried the spicy, tossed with his homemade signature chili oil and let me tell you-if you can handle the heat, (it is spicy!) it is delicious; sweet and spicy at the same time. I should've bought a bottle of the chili oil to take home with me. My friend and I ordered to go at the kiosk at South Coast takeout but sounds like you can get it delivered to your doorstep jiffy fast via the usual delivery methods!

UPDATE: from my last review, Chris has really improved everything overall. I'm a regular and I can confidently say his food just tastes better and better. The wings never disappoint, fries are always seasoned well, and I love that spicy fried rice SOOO MUCH!!! He released a new line of chili oils and that ghost pepper is so good but so damn spicy (totally worth it though). All his chili oils have amazing flavor and taste. I guarantee you haven't had anything like his chili oil, it's a must try. He's also just a super nice guy and always throws in an extra wing or tender depending on the chicken size. Trust me, you have to try his food!

My first time trying Cambodian fried chicken and boy was it good! Food is on point. Quick and easy service! Good vibes and ambiance

Ordered online then rolled to the Ghost Kitchen ( that shocked me, I had no idea) got lucky enough to meet the actual Chris, not only did he make my dinner he was the nicest guy and hand delivered it to me ( pretty sure he could see my confusion) The food was incredible, the chicken is sooooooo moist unreal. I've never in my ,45years of life eaten chicken and returned a bare bone it finally happened, I also ate all 8 pieces to myself. Everyone else who starve... They could chrispmyass I'm coming again brining the crew. You're brilliant and good is pure love

I do not eat much fried chicken because I never found a good one. This one is my top 2 and one was homemade! I got this for lunch one time and came back a week later from West Co just to bring some for everyone to try. They all loved it and they will definitely come back when they are in the area.

I've got two jars of Chris P's kitchen's chili oil in my check-out cart and I'm currently typing out this review with my greased up fingers while scarfing down several days-old leftovers from this gem of a find LOOOL We had a random craving for chicken, as one does on a late night Sunday evening, and stumbled across Chris P Kitchen (haha "CRISPY"...GET IT?!--yes this is important for the review). It's a cloud kitchen so the facility is shared by other food businesses. You can place your order either online or at the kiosk on-site and you will be texted a message to unlock a designated locker when your food is ready for takeout. We had the lovely honor of meeting the owner, Chris, himself! And he gave us the rundown of a whole gamut of his creations: 1. Chicken Chili Sweet Fries: Our personal favorite. A fun, inventive twist on two things you know and love. Chris really took two staples: fries and chicken tenders--and said "COMBINE THEM". Genius. Perfectly crisp, bubbly skin sandwiches the tender, juicy chicken meat. If you've ever had the Vietnamese "heo quay" (crispy roasted pork belly), you'll have a good idea of what I'm talking about when it comes to a comparable texture. The chopped chicken tenders were layered on a bed of fries and topped with his signature chili oil and a sweet chili sauce. Absolute PARTY in my mouth. 10/10 mouth feel. This came in a generous size--very shareable. 2. ChrisP Chicken Tenders tossed in Chili Oil: Perfect for if you finish the above mentioned chicken chili sweet fries and decide you need some more o' dat chicken!!! These pieces are CHONKY. I barely had one before I felt a food coma coming on. Sooo crispy and juicy. Opt for it tossed in the Chili Oil. Don't be a narc and call the cops on Chris P when you find out how ADDICTING that chili oil is. Don't do drugz, eat Chris P Kitchen's chicken 3. Chris P Beef Tallow Fried Rice: Okay fair warning, by the time I got to this dish, I had run out of SPACE and was sickeningly full so this could be reflective of my lackluster thoughts on it. The fried rice was ALRIGHT, personally. In terms of flavor, it was not as memorable for me and I'm not sure I would go out of my way to get it again though I do want to give it another try under different circumstances (when I'm not gasping for air as I try to fit in another bite). 4. Chris P Fried Fries: One word. SEASONING. I'm not a great judge of fries because I'm predisposed to loving them in any iteration. But these were good! The seasoning has a bit of a sweet, saltiness to it. Next time, I might try ordering them a tad more well done for a bit more crispiness. (His food is sooo good as leftovers for anyone wondering! I just popped them in a toaster oven for like 5 min and relived the experience again!) Overall, this was such an exciting find and we can't wait to come back and see what Chris P's cookin' up next!! Until the next late night craving! :)

We've never been before and it was nice. We really wanted to feast it up at the stalls but the lines were so long and it was so hot. Thankfully we found this amazing gem! This place is strictly CASH ONLY. So please come prepared. We came and it was a full mad house. Lines and parking was full I knew that's when we were going to get a great meal. Came with my mom and we DEF ordered more food than we can take on. My mom hasn't had Cambodian food in a while so we def made people wonder why we ordered so much lol Food was so savory and delicious. Seating is limited hopefully they can expand. I think they deserve it as a lot of people raved about their dishes. Service was friendly as well and short staffed due to the holiday. All patrons were really understanding of that. I would def come back again or wishes I wasn't so far so I can DoorDash this!

The iced coffee was solid. The bad: The women who work here were a lot less friendly. The tables were so close to one another that we couldn't sit across from one another. Food also took an incredibly long time to come out even though we only ordered two dishes--student noodles and beef skewers. We also had to wave down a server just to follow up on the iced coffee that I ordered, especially since this was already after the food had finally arrived. Lastly, while it was good that they had their own parking lot, exiting through the almost too narrow alley was incredibly challenging in either direction. All in all, still remain torn about returning.

My friend and I shared a variety of dishes: -Student Noodle: If chow mein and pad thai had a baby, this would be that dish. Without the fish sauce, the noodles tasted like chow mein. This dish overall was good! While I would still opt for pad thai, the noodle texture was good and I enjoyed the flavors. We got this with crispy pork and it was tasty, but I wish it was crispier. I liked how it wasn't too fatty. -Fish Amok: It did not look like the picture, but the dish was still good. It was a sweet fish curry which was sweet from the coconut milk. This was tasty and the fish was soft. It wasn't fishy at all. This paired well with the rice. I would still opt for a savory curry though. -Beef Skewers: These were yummy and I enjoyed the charred flavor of these! The flavor was very similar to Filipino skewers. I liked how even the fatty parts were enjoyable. Steamed Rice: Fluffy and not mushy which I liked. It came served in this cute rice bucket which preserved the heat of it. The restaurant was decorated nicely and was pretty clean. Bathrooms available which were also clean. The service was good and attentive. There's lots of free parking in the lot in front.
