This man has a rude manner and is extremley over priced, he came to give me a estimate., to replace a facet, garbage disposal & repair a small area on the front soffit ..then he knocked hard on the hardy siding with a screw driver and made a hole in it, while discussing options with me.I have more damage after his visit than before. This-Christian Handyman did not care about damaging my home- I still have the hole in the hardy board - & this isnt very Christian. He only emails the price of the estimate to you, won't discuss money in person. His estimate is only for his labor, so it's generally unclear just how mush any thing will cost. read more

I want to warn people that this company is very dishonest. Bill gave us an estimate for a bathroom remodel. It was a labor only estimate. We discussed the work in detail for over an hour, including the style of tile and the design of the shower. He even asked me questions about it, like did I want them to put the little shelves in the tile for soap and ect. They sent me an estimate that had all the work we had discussed. We agreed on it, they were paid half of the estimate and they began work. Half way through the job, Bill denied that the tile work was part of the estimate, even though it's clearly stated on the estimate. He said we never even talked about it and called us liers. He said he would not complete the job and we would have to pay him more money. I have never dealt with a more dishonest man, please do not let this man take advantage of you like he did us. After looking around i see i have a bunch of tear off pieces I have been cleaning and raking up and pick up. As well as cigarette butts From the beginning of the job, it was not asked for , but i cleaned up tear off several times. I would have expected the place to be raked and cleaned up after work was complete especially since i had helped several times to do it for him in the first several days I would have thought detail would have been given to a full cleanup after job was done Siding on one of the windows was supposed to be fixed by his helper , huge gaps where siding was cut too short, and you can look in from the side where the trim is and see through to base structure material behind it. I caulked to try to keep rain out. His helper would have done it and done a good job, but it was forgotten I found a broken brick from where the fascia and soffit was worked on, It is recessed now as it was broken, I will also have to fix it His helper when with him is awesome, but work done by this man himself lacks the professional outcome I would have expected If i had not been on hand as much as i was it would have been much worse I added one small price of soffit that needed to be replaced we over looked, I wish i had known how much the little 4' piece would cost to heave had done as it was $109.00 He said in the beginning if anything was added it would be done at a discount, ( That was the discounted price.) I had quotes a little higher and now think i been better off to go with other bid To his credit,He did tell me that if there are any issues to call him and he will take care of it. Someone in our household who shall remain nameless found a tiny hole in the fascia on the front of our house. It was no bigger than a dime and could have been easily patched with a wood-repair substance. But no. Someone had to take screwdriver and gouge until this dime turned into a baseball. Our default neighborhood handyman couldn't get to it for 10 days, and I couldn't live with it that long so I searched Craig's List. I searched only businesses that had an image and were in or near my ZIP code. This guy's business came up dozens of times with a very comprehensive ad, photos, and a link to his Web site, including testimonials. He came over that very day to look at the baseball hole and emailed me an estimate later in the day. He came back the very next morning and within an hour, there was no evidence of the baseball. Then he (his name is Bill) took the time to show me photos he had taken that illustrated the genesis of the damage, pointed out several other areas where this is prone to happen, and told me exactly what to do to prevent it. I hired Bill to perform several jobs around my house during a single day: fix a toilet (replace the works inside the tank), replace the kitchen faucet, and hang a fireplace mantel. He showed up on time, worked for nearly six hours without a break, and made two trips to the hardware store to get supplies I didn't have on hand. (I should note the kitchen faucet job took much longer than anticipated due to problems with the old plumbing fittings that required additional parts and labor to correct. I was aware of this issue but had forgotten to inform him in advance.) Bill was highly knowledgeable but equally important, he was highly personable. We chatted affably throughout his visit. When he presented his bill, I was dumbfounded at how little he was charging me! I literally could not believe it.
