Excellent breakfast spot in downtown Redmond area. I had the eggs Benedict and they were terrific. Will be back!

We had breakfast here one Saturday morning. No wait and ate upstairs. There were four of us eating and we all started out with coffee and one ordered a cinnamon roll that was served hot with butter. Very good. My wife and I ordered hash with eggs, my son had the quiche special, and his girlfriend French toast with blueberries. The portion here are huge. I ate my eggs and about half my hash and potatoes. My wife was the same. My son enjoyed his quiche which was spinach and sausage with hollandaise sauce. His girlfriend didn't put much of a dent in her French toast. She did say it was very good. The service was friendly and prompt. Good breakfast experience.

We had a delicious breakfast here. Food was very quick and overall excellent. Ordered a half order of French toast (4 triangles) a kids pancake (it was at least 10" diameter) and fruit cup. Also the two egg meal.

She was fun, efficient, and very knowledgeable. Hideaway is a low-key sports bar that has great viewing of whatever is on television. The food looked and tasted good as well. My wife had the Hideaway burger, but subbed the Impossible burger instead, her tator tots were perfectly cooked. She asked for the burger to be well-done, and the cooks did a great job at that. Our daughter had the Cobb Salad and loved it. I had the Reuben and it was ok. The corned beef was a bit mushy and not cut well. So we went. Upon entering we were immediately seated with menu's in hand. So far, so good right? Our waiter served us chips and salsa and took our drink orders. I had a standard Margarita and daughter just water. Waiter was pleasant but had zero personality IMHO? C&S were good. I had 2 Flautas with Rice and Refried Beans. Daughter chose a Chili Relleno Rice and Beans. Ok...back to the Margarita. Weird taste and honestly I question if there was any tequila in it? Hmmmm?. Food arrived shortly after. It looked so good and beautifully presented. I appreciate great plating! Upon digging in I was rather disappointed. It was very bland. Not bad, but very lackluster. Note: Rice and Beans were delicious. Daughter's Relleno? Looked amazing but the Poblano Pepper was not even close to being done. Therefore the cheese was not even melted inside? Not to mention there was hardly any sauce on it? The inside of the restaurant looks more like a cute breakfast place with little to no Mexican decor. I'll go back, but order maybe Enchiladas and see how those are?

The service was okay, but the overall experience felt a little confusing. The atmosphere had more of a buffet-style feel, while the menu seemed to go in several directions. A lot of the food leaned Mexican, but they also offer steaks, pastas, and burgers to match the steakhouse name, which made it hard to get a clear sense of the restaurant's identity. That said, the Mexican dishes we had were delicious and really stood out. Honestly, leaning more into the Mexican restaurant direction might be their best path because that food was excellent. Overall, good food, just a bit unclear on the concept. As a steakhouse: As a Mexican restaurant:

I had another place in mind but was met with a boarded up building and Country Nook was across the street, so I checked it out. I was greeted within seconds of walking in and seated promptly with a menu. The booth was clean and the table free from stickiness. Bonus points! Being a certified lover of biscuits and gravy I decided to try the breakfast with that, eggs and hash browns. The food came within five minutes and it was really nice looking. the gravy had a slightly off white thing going on, but the flavor was excellent. Gravy does not have to be stark white to be good. The biscuit was just average, something just a little more special or maybe fresh would have put it over the top. It was not bad at all, just the gravy cries for something above average to be under it. Eggs were cooked the way I asked and the hash browns were very good. The service was really friendly, they checked on me often, but not an annoying amount of times. Prices were very reasonable and the rest room was clean. Could not ask for anything more. I liked it so much I came back the next day for the pancakes, which are exceptional!!! Marking Country Nook on my return to list.

Being a local I've never thought to try the EBarGrill until today and let me tell you I 100% regret going here. I ordered the Mexican Omelet that was nothing near what was described while my fie ordered what they think is biscuits & gravy. Up to this point I was like ok, maybe next time we try something else. My omelet was attractive enough but it had no salsa in it or on the side. They gave me a little cup of ketchup in place of the salsa! I finally got our servers attention (Mind you were one of 3 tables and 2 servers) She gives me an annoying look as if I was inconveniencing her! I say there is no salsa and you gave me ketchup on the side and I'd like the thing as I ordered it from the menu. She never brings it, 20 minutes later I can't eat anymore of this food ... there is hardly any meat in it, and what is there has been so reheated that it barely constitutes being called hamburger, you know the cheapest meat in the beef family ... and again, no salsa as it is described in the description. Then to add to the insult, our waitress didn't come back to the table to ask if we needed anything, let alone refills on our drinks. She couldn't even to bring the bill at the end, she saw me go to the register and everything, and only by chance was my wife able to wave her down. In the end the staff was without remorse for the worst service I've ever had in Redmond, let alone the entire state of Oregon. Bad food, bad service but apparently most people don't notice it because they offer a complete Bar selection from the time they open until closing so that might bring light to the comments on great this place is ... impaired eaters :P
