Chicken with artichoke and red pepper

Went here on a Saturday night for dinner. Went on the early side and was able to get seated quickly. Our service was great, we sat in the bar area and had a few people keeping an eye on us. It was mainly an older crowd, not a ton of families. We ordered the Apple something salad and that was good. Homemade dressing, fresh ingredients, and yummy. We ordered the coconut crusted chicken for the meal and it was over cooked. It looked overcooked/burned so we asked the waitress if this was normal and she said yes. Not a fan. The other chicken dish was pretty good. Overall, good service, food was fine.

This was our first time dining here. We arrived at 4:00 when they opened and was seated promptly. The salad was fresh and large enough for 2 people to share. The butternut squash ravioli are delicious. The chicken piccata and scallops lobster corn risotto were also yummy. There is a bar in back we ate in restaurant. We will definitely be back.

Last night was my first time here after driving by the place for years! We sat at a table by the bar which was very cozy. Both meals were amazing, I had the baked scrod which had a crabmeat stuffing, with garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables for sides. The potatoes were creamy and delicious, the vegetables were surprisingly good and I am not the biggest veggie eater. The fish was made perfectly! It has buttery breadcrumbs on top and had so much flavor with the crabmeat on top. My friends steak tips were cooked perfectly to how she ordered them. Service was super friendly and personable. Dessert included homemade pistachio ice cream which was delicious, and paired with a fudgey flourless chocolate cake.

Not sure who the new chef is but the food remains awesome. Great new additions to the menu. The oldies but goodies are there too. This place knows how to keep steady business while other places go through ups and downs. The regulars have a gold mine. Still the best bartenders on the south shore. Good job guys.

Had delicious sirloin steak, garlic mashed and carrots with summer squash. Onion rings on top was a nice touch.

Back again after seeing The Odyssey (see it). Able to snag a reservation for a bar high top but…read morethat bar was crowded until 8 pm (no one was moving on!). All the regulars were regulating! The vibe was lively and inviting. Finally got to try the composed oyster--I enjoyed ONE and that was enough. It's rich and delicious, but one is all you need before eating regular oysters (from Duxbury). Had all my regular fav apps, but tried the haddock entree and it was amazingly complex and delicious. First time actually eating a kumquat! Sylvain was his usual charming & attentive self-which keeps me coming back!

About 25 tables, but not tightly packed. Felt like an Italian restaurant where you might just share with the table nearest you. I could order nearly anything on the menu. Awesome and terrible with a time crunch! We started with the focaccia bread, which was delicious. We saved some and I'm eating it now. Then it was Splitsville: I mean we split a salad, bolognese and chicken parm. Garden/House Salad was described as fresh, what the kitchen could get, flavorful and colorful. It was all those things and didn't disappoint. Chicken parm was not fried. Was Bell & Evans chicken breast not beat to hell. Was plump, juicy and flavorful. Maybe the best I've ever had. Bolognese was equally good. I'm glad we split everything so we could each try a number of different options. We were out on time and never felt rushed if you can believe it. Excellent service and pacing to go with the excellent food.

Who doesn't appreciate getting a fresh slice of pizza. I usually eat low carb but I'll take one for the team to try a new establishment. The thing I really liked about the pizza is it was super thin, so no heavy crust to weigh you down. A man came in who works in the same strip mall and I asked him if he had tried their food before because as an Elite Yelper I ask those kind of questions. He had not but he had been there and talked to the manager and the manager recommended their mixed mushroom pizza and also their prosciutto pizza so that's what he ordered. They both sound tasty! After taking 2 bites out of my slice, I decided to bring the rest home for my better half to try. He liked it as well but he thought the crust could use a little salt and actually I agree, a pinch of salt would give the crust more flavor. They offer gluten free crust which is nice for those who need it. They plan on piping in music which is a good idea because they need music in the place. It's nice to have a new establishment in the town so give them and try.
