Since I've been coming here almost every month since my initial review I am popping in to update them to a 4 star. Every time I have come in, as a walk-in, I've always received prompt and courteous service. My request is always the same...pedicure and eyebrow waxing. And the service is always good. Typically I'm offered water while I sit back in the massage chair and enjoy a relaxing pedicure. The vibe is always calm and a low noise environment. Sometimes there is light music in the back ground and other times it's the TV. I'm pretty satisfied with the services here. read more

I thought this place was decent, but I refuse to go back ever again. The last two times I was there they let solicitors come in who completely seemed illegitimate (no proper documentation) asking for money while we were getting pedicures. They need to put up a no soliciting sign. I was trying to relax during my pedicure and I had my eyes shut and the solicitor woke me up. went to get my acrylics removed and replaced with dip powder. at the initial appointment, it took over two and a half hours to get my acrylic removed and the dip powder applied. she put my nails in acetone probably 15 times. because it took so long, i assume, the removal + the dip without tip was over $100. i have never paid over $100 for an acrylic removal and new acrylic, dip, etc. i didn't say anything at the time because the technician was nice and my boyfriend offered to pay for it. less than a week later, my entire nail under the dip was infected. i went back to have the dip removed and i never accused the technician of it being her fault, even though obviously i assumed it was because of the unsanitary materials used on my nails + how brittle my nails were after soaking in acetone for over an hour. the technician told me multiple times it was my fault or i must have hit my nail on something. hitting my nail would not cause a full blown fungal infection. do not go here! *** update: owners reply to this is bs lollll. i had to go to the urgent care on CHRISTMAS because my nail was, you guessed it, INFECTED. i was put on antibiotics after being told by a medical professional that if i continued not to treat it i would need to get my entire natural nail removed. it's not common to have an infection after going to the nail salon. literally ridiculous. again: don't go here or give this place your business! they do not care about you! read more

I had a 30 minutes break at work, and needed to get a fast, regular manicure. I was overworked and overwhelmed, and I thought a manicure would lift my spirits. I called this place, they said they had availability and would take me right away. She said "ok! See you in a little bit!" I arrive, she says "pick out color and we'll get you in". I pick my color, turn around to go sit down, I noticed that all of the technicians are busy. One lady looks up and says you called? I said "yes you said you had availability and you could take me in." She said "can you wait?" I asked how long will be the wait? She said "you called?" Spent $70 for a basic pedicure and sns manicure. The pedicure was fine, but I was talked into getting an sns manicure that could last 3 weeks instead of gel. Nope, I had 3 broken, cracked nails in less than 48 hours. I called and they said they would fix it but to not come in until the later afternoon. When I showed up I was treated like a big inconvenience and they simply put more powder over the mistakes instead of Redoing them. Less then a week and a half later I've had 2 nails completely pop off. Such a waste of money! Will not be returning. I've had SNS at other salons and it would last for 3 weeks and be taken off only because of growing out. This was a convenient stop close to work, but never again, I'll drive the extra distance. read more

I have been going to this salon for about 3 years and have in the past always been satisfied. However yesterday I went for a foot leg massage, it has been $1.00 per minute, I got a 30 minute service, was told when I checked out it was $45.00. I was shocked and turned to look at the price list and there were no amounts listed. The woman who took care of me was not the same person who provided the service. I told her I think there was a mistake, she rudely said there was no mistake, to put in my tip amount and then she could process the payment. I told her I did not want to put in the tip until I understood why the cost is up 50% and I was not notified of the change, she did not respond other than to again say put in your tip amount. I put in the tip which was very low as I feel it was the responsibility of the technician to advise of this price change. I was greatly disappointed. The tech was also busy chatting with her co worker as she worked on me which was quite annoying. I think I will be looking for a new salon. read more

I waited 45 minutes before getting service, other people waited over an hour. They have you sit in a pedicure chair with water to soak in so it's more difficult to leave. The service was mediocre at best but after just over 24 hours, but gel manicure is chipping and peeling off. I will never go to this place again. read more

I would select no stars if I could. I didn't even get a chance to be serviced here but I'm never going back!!! First off I was not greeted when I entered and when I was finally acknowledged I didn't know where the person n was who said hello. Soon enough a lady came to the entrance and asked how she could help...this was at 5:50. I asked if they could give me a pedi in an hour. The lady didn't understand me at first but after explaining she got it and we agreed for 7:15. I got back at 7:20 and the salon had no customers. I told the ladies I was back for my pedi and one woman asked me if I could come back tomorrow. They close at 8 and a simple pedi doesn't take more than 20 minutes. These women were very rude and showed no interest in working and based on that attitude I can safely assume that the service would probably be just as bad. read more

Went in for a pedicure. I was handed the services "menu" by the technician and specifically pointed to the $25 basic pedicure as I stated what I wanted. The technician nodded, acknowledged, and proceeded with the service. Fast forward. It's time to pay and I am being charged $35. I reminded the technician that I chose the $25 basic option, not the deluxe option. She told me, "oh no, but I did the $35 service for you." At that point, the manager entered the conversation. She and the technician spoke for a minute in another language, and the manager then told me, "she did the $35 service so that's what you should pay. The extra lotions were part of the deluxe package." Well, no, I didn't know that. Every pedicure place is different and I had never been here before. Needless to say, I won't be back. I'm not convinced that this isn't a slick way to scam people into paying for higher priced services than they originally asked for. Buyer beware! read more

Okay nail salon. Nothing too special. My nail tech only put one coat of paint on my toes and I didn't realize until she was putting on a top coat. There are more nail places in the area that I'd rather go to even if it costs more. Just not worth it in my opinion. read more

Inconsistent. Went with my girlfriends to get my nails done about a week ago. Went ahead and decided to treat myself and get SNS with tips ($40). While my left hand came out wonderful the tips on my right hand almost seemed to be turning upwards too much. By the following Saturday, 3 of my nails had already fallen off, 2 of which we're on my right hand. So, i did what anyone should do and went to get them fixed. They sat me down and rushed the process. The nails they fixed are now too short, too thin, and over-filed. Very disappointed. read more

What is it with nail salons? Nobody speaks English, and so nobody will talk to you while you are having a nail treatment. Instead, the tv is droning. The estheticians chatter away amongst themselves and ignore the customer. What? Christine's is no different. They do everything mindlessly, with no thought given to your comfort. Water too cold? or too hot? So what! Omg. Then there is the massage. from hell. I am 5'2" and weigh 125lbs. The way way she massaged my legs you would think I was a UCF linebacker. I asked her to please be more gentle. She looked up and smiled and then put all her weight into it. STOP! I had to pull my legs back to get her attention. Ive been saying it for a long time but Christine's convinced me! From now on, I am going to have my nails done at a spa. I don't care if it costs twice as much. I will paint my own nails before I go back to a nail salon and I will never go back to Christine's. Why should we put up with inferior service when we can go wherever we want? I was referred to this salon by a woman who said she got her pedicure here and it hadn't chipped in 3 weeks. The location is GREAT but when you walk in its very dingy looking. I still gave it a chance and my bf and I sat down to get pedicures. I was offered a manicure while i got my pedi. Normally I would have said no but I actually really needed it. I am sooooo glad I got one! $12 and I even got a hand, arm, shoulder and back massage! The girl doing it named Mi was tiny but had very strong hands. My massage was so amazing I didn't even notice my pedicure going on. I will definitely be back to this place at least once a month for my mani pedi. The woman in charge of the location is rude and mean to her employees which is clearly observable. If you have an issue, they are not open to hearing a concern, even when very politely put. Additionally, they were rude to my mother and gave her an infection. I used to go there all the time but it simply isn't worth the trouble. I wish my nail gal was at a different location, unfortunately, she works for someone who is difficult to be around at all (speaking as a customer, I don't know about how they feel since I don't understand her but she speaks unpleasantly sharp). I have observed her motioning rudely to people's feet also. Love the ladies who work there, they are very sweet. Individually, they are amazing. The owner, who receives the majority of my money, I cannot support in good conscience. I was a weekly customer (I am very particular about my nails looking their best) and received such poor treatment by the owner. I love this place! Walk in's welcome, great nail polishes: good quality and lots of colors. I get my eyebrows waxed every few weeks and it is only $5. They recently got new pedicure chairs, and always do a great job. A regular manicure comes with a great neck massage and a polish change is only $7. The massage treatments that accompany the manicure and pedicures are truly fantastic and take the experience of a solid professional pedicure or manicure to the level of a healing special treatment. I appreciate that the staff does not try to engage the clients in random small talk or a lot of personal questions during the services. It is not a fancy place, the massage chairs are comfortable, if you need to read there are lots of magazines or a TV screen to watch. The selection of nail polish colors are plentiful, and the service prices are very fair. This salon is located within a popular strip mall, parking is not too difficult, and there are several options for quick food and beverages within the set of stores. Not sure how the reviews for Christine Nails can be this schizophrenic. I am very sorry to hear that. I have been a regular walk-in customer during the ten years I have been back in town, and I was a customer even prior to that. I haven't ever had any problems with any of the services I have received. This is a busy, bustling place most of the time. I have empathy for the women who work here, they work hard, within close quarters and their workday lasts from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Some of their clients treat them kindly, and tip fairly, and others do not. I agree the trash talking in another language is certainly bitchy, rude, and especially deceptive if someone is smiling in your face while doing it. Unfortunately this can happen anywhere, especially in the service industry. This does not make this kind of behavior any more acceptable, and customers who have experienced this firsthand, you should take your dollars elsewhere. I don't know if I have been a victim of this. I just know it is a treat for me to visit there, and I am grateful for their kind attention and care. I also remember that when I was out of work for an extended period of time, the entire staff would not let me give them a tip until I was working again. Worst mani pedi ever. No one smiles, basic was truly that basic. For same price I've been elsewhere where they actually massage your feet and legs/arms and hand during process. No gel available for toes which every other place provides or at least they advise if unable. They even turned off chair bc it inconvenienced them. I should have known when I walked in bc my gut told me to leave. The lady next to me stated same... That girl barely did anything to her and she even refused polish and walked out after paying. Don't come here if you want SNS dip powder. It took over 2 hours for my nails and I requested short, round nails, and the woman made them long. I asked repeatedly to make them shorter and she said she would file them down at the end, but did not. At the end it had been so long I didn't have time to ask her to make them shorter AGAIN. Also, she did not do the powder the right way, it was all over my skin and looked very messy. The base near my cuticle was so thick that after a few days it started getting caught on things and in my hair. They all cracked and started coming up after less than a week. I even trusted Christine's Nails to do the manicures & pedicures for my bridesmaids and myself the day before my wedding and they did a great job! Their pricing is reasonable and it is a clean place.
