As part of our honeymoon, my husband and I decided to treat ourselves to some relaxing spa services at Christmas Farm Inn & Spa. This is one of our favorite spots, as it is such a relaxing and welcoming place. Our technicians were Meaghan and Heather, who both did a wonderful job. They made sure we were comfortable and enjoying our services. We appreciated being able to use the steam room and shower following the services, with their lovely shampure products. We felt so rejuvenated upon leaving here. In past visits, we were able to get more services and at longer durations. Unfortunately, that has changed. This wasn't communicated and there was an issue with scheduling our services. When we received the initial confirmation, everything looked fine (services and durations) aside from it stating "body polish" instead of "body scrub". I was assured that it would be a scrub, regardless of what the confirmation said. Unfortunately, the day before our services the confirmation email had different durations of services. When I called to inquire, I hadn't received a call back, however it was addressed immediately upon our arrival. They noted that our call was received and said they figured they would wait until they saw us. I wish it had been addressed ahead of time, as we had to make a quick decision on the spot regarding our services. I would have preferred time to think it over. Also, the polish was in fact a polish and not a scrub, which was not what was wanted nor expected. Overall, we had a great time and would go back! This has become a staple for our white mountain trips. The services are always great, the staff is always friendly, and we always leave feeling refreshed! The only downside was the lack of communication/scheduling error, which has never been a problem in our countless other visits here. read more

I haven't posted this review because I didn't want to give some time space and grace to my feelings about the place, but with that still had an experience that will guarantee we will never be back. My friend and I went for what was marketed as a girlfriend's weekend about a year ago. We had booked a facial and massage at the spa and planned to go shopping and just enjoy the area. To begin, our room smelled horribly of must and mold. Anywhere where there was furniture had thick layer of dust underneath so the room had been swept out many times, but none of the furniture had been moved away and was simply cleaned around. We went shopping and bought air freshener so that we could tolerate the smell. When we returned, we went to the restaurant to have dinner and were informed that the entire restaurant had been taken over by a bridal party so if we wanted to eat, we would need to eat in the bar. The small bar area had approximately four tables available and we were fortunate to get one near the window. The bartender was amazingly friendly and we did enjoy the food but noted that many patrons came in to try to get dinner and returned away for the same reason we have been. Later on in the evening I returned to the bar to get a drink and discovered that there was no seating available and initially told that I was not going to be able to get a drink, but when I said I would bring it back to my room I was allowed to have one. It should be noted that the bridal party that require the entire restaurant was approximately a dozen people. Why would you book a wedding and girlfriend's weekend on the same weekend? In the morning, we went to get breakfast at the restaurant and initially were being turned away by the hostess. We did ask for a manager and were then allowed to have a table. Once again we were told that the entire restaurant was reserved for the wedding party. If you are going to close out a restaurant for the rest of your guests, then do not rent out the other rooms. The last and final straw for us was that we had spa treatments booked for the early afternoon. While we were out shopping and gathering food for our time in between treatments, we were contacted by the spa to let us know that they would need to alter our treatment times because someone had called out sick and that only one of us would be getting treatment while the other one would have to be scheduled for three hours later. Absolutely not. We demanded that our times were honored because we had booked them three months in advance. When we arrived at the spa, we were treated horribly by the manager and were snapped at consistently as if someone else calling out was our fault. Meanwhile, other patrons came in and received their treatments. When we asked about this, the manager informed us that their masseuse hadn't called out so they weren't impacted (again, not our fault that someone called out and yet we were lambasted because we weren't willing to change our time by several hours). We were also supposed to be getting a "gift" from our treatments (as a compensation because one had to be cancelled by them) and, when we mentioned this to the spa manager, she slammed down travel sized tubes of hand cream in front of us and scolded us for even asking. The behavior of the spa manager and the way we were treated was the final straw. We will never return to this resort. there are plenty of other resorts in the area that offer a much better venue and experience. We wanted so much to love this place and were just baffled by the negative experience we had. read more

We recently stayed at Christmas Farm Inn and Spa for a wedding a couple of weeks ago. The wedding itself was amazing, and the grounds around the inn were beautiful. Unfortunately, our actual stay was very disappointing due to the management. We booked one of the barn rooms, and I would strongly advise against ever booking in that section. While most of the staff were friendly and helpful, the General Manager, Abe, was rude and unprofessional. On our first night, we received a noise complaint. We were up late due to jet lag, but were not being excessively loud. After a neighbor banged on the wall, I quickly received a text from Abe asking us to keep the volume down. Thinking it was an automated system, we immediately complied and kept everything quiet for the rest of the night. The next morning, around 8am, Abe came banging on our door as aggressively as possible. His exact first words were, "I'm asking you to check out today." He said we had been making noise "all night" and "banging on walls." Neither of those things were true. Once he finally introduced himself as the GM, I calmly explained that we lowered our volume as soon as we received the text and that we never banged on any walls. Instead of listening, he dismissed our explanation and began lecturing me in a disrespectful and hostile manner. To try to evict paying guests early in the morning, on the day of a wedding, without hearing both sides of the situation, is completely unacceptable. This experience left a very sour impression of the property. The surroundings are beautiful, and the other staff members were pleasant, but the GM's behavior ruined what should have been a positive stay. I cannot recommend staying here, especially when there are likely other inns in the area with far better management and respect for their guests. read more

Cute, charming quaint place. Our family stayed for our annual Story Land trip and were so happy we did. It's a quick ride up the street. We stayed in a carriage house suite and loved it. It does need some TLC but that's also what gives it its charm. Our bed was comfy and the room was clean. Our grandkids really enjoyed the grounds. The walking path is beautiful. We had a fireplace in our room that they also loved. There's a fire pit outside with free s'mores supplies and some juice. There is two pools on the grounds, one indoor with a jacuzzi attached to the gym (nice gym btw.) and the other is an outdoor pool across the street with a play area for little. Originally we thought the restaurant onsite couldn't accommodate us because the kids have dairy allergies but after going down and speaking with them they had quite a few options. The restaurant is small but really cute inside. We definitely felt underdressed but the staff never made us feel uncomfortable, Amy our server was absolutely amazing and you could tell she knew how to handle little well. We loved it here and will definitely be staying again next year. read more

Spent a weekend in the Sleigh Cottage for a wonderful Christmas experience. Dinner with Mrs. Claus was so magical. My 4 yr old Grandson loved it. The Sleigh Cottage was perfect with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Breakfast was part of our package and was just delicious. Dinner with Mrs. Claus was a buffet and everything on the buffet was so delicious. Service was friendly, welcoming and helpful from check in until our goodbye. There is a lot of entertainment including Dinner With Mrs Claus where Jingles the Elf entertained us with her vibrant personality and talents, Dive-Inn swim complete with an in-door pool, hot tub and Movie. There is also much to do in Conway close by. Horse Drawn Sleigh Ride. Polar Express and a Cookie Walk. We really enjoyed the magic of Christmas at The Christmas Farm Inn and Spa. To be frank, our recent experience at the Christmas Farm Inn did not meet our expectations. We chose your establishment to create a memorable Christmas experience for our family, but unfortunately, there were several areas that fell short. First, the absence of Christmas decorations in our cottage was quite surprising. For a place named "Christmas Farm Inn," we expected at least a tree or some festive touches indoors. The only decorations we found were wreaths outside. Waking up on Christmas morning to a plain setting was quite disappointing. Additionally, we encountered issues with bedding. Despite reserving for a party of six and indicating we would need the sofa bed, no extra bedding or blankets were provided in the cottage, and we had to request them before the staff left at 1 PM. We also found that one of the twin beds was missing a fitted sheet, which we located in the closet and had to put on ourselves. While we were okay without housekeeping during our stay, we were only provided with supplies for one day and had to request additional items like soap and coffee before staff availability ended. Breakfast and dinner reservations were particularly frustrating. We were assured multiple times via email and phone that breakfast reservations could be made upon check-in. However, we were offered only one time slot each day, which varied and was often inconvenient--particularly the 7:30 AM slot on Christmas Day and the 9:15 AM slot on another day, which was too late for our small children. As for dinner, despite attempting to reserve Christmas Eve dinner over a month in advance, we could not secure a table for six and had to make two separate reservations. Before we even checked in, we were assured by phone that arrangements would be made to seat us together that evening, but this was not the case. Upon arrival, we were made to wait an hour while other parties were seated ahead of us, including at least one party of six. The dietary request we mentioned in advance for one of our guests was not communicated to the staff or kitchen, and the initial response was dismissive. The waitress seemed uninformed about available options and appeared indifferent to our needs. It was disheartening to later learn that a 20% gratuity was automatically included, regardless of service quality. We also attempted to enjoy drinks at the Mistletoe Pub twice, but it was so crowded and poorly managed that we gave up both times. At the restaurant, our drinks took an unreasonably long time to arrive, and even when we tried to cancel a second round after our meal was over, they were brought out immediately afterward. The roads within the inn complex and the driveway to the Sleigh House were plowed but not salted or sanded, leaving icy conditions that caused multiple slips. Our three-year-old fell repeatedly, resulting in wet clothes and frustration. Lastly, it was disappointing that the spa was closed for most of the week leading up to Christmas and for our entire stay. While we understand closing on Christmas Day, it seems odd for such a significant amenity to be unavailable during the holiday season at a place called "Christmas Farm Inn." On a positive note, we appreciated the free plate of cookies from the staff, and the front desk team--especially Lance--was kind and helpful. Some restaurant staff members, like Nikolas, were also excellent. Our kids enjoyed the dancing Santa and hot chocolate for purchase. The pool and hot tub were delightful, and swimming amidst the snowy landscape was a unique experience. The gas fireplace in the Sleigh House added a cozy touch, and our daughter was thrilled to find the inflatable flamingo from the pictures online in the pool. read more

I had my wedding here in November of 2022 and it was everything I could have wanted. We stayed on the property for 3 nights, and our wedding was held in the Carriage house, followed by dinner in the dining room. Everything was perfect! The rooms are beautiful, as is the property, with the view of the mountains surrounding it. The wedding planning with the staff was very thorough and they did a great job answering all my questions! My husband and I were just recently married (11/11/24) and used Christmas Farm Inn and Spa as our wedding venue. I honestly cannot express how incredibly happy we are with the whole experience! Kayla was amazing throughout the whole process, following up at different intervals to make sure everything stayed on track! She answered all my multiple stupid question emails (and there was an embarrassing amount) and made the whole thing just run so smooth and easy. I was asked so many times if I was stressed or what my stress level was being a bride planning a wedding, and everyone was floored when I said zero..no stress...that's how amazing Kayla and the staff are!! The venders they use also are rockstars as well! The cake, OMG, even non-dessert people wanted more; the florist...she's a true artist with the flowers; the DJ killed it with the music and had everyone on the floor the whole night; and the JP...she was so sweet and made sure we got the ceremony we wanted!! 10/10 highly recommend!! read more

I have been going here for going on four decades now and there have been several ownership changes during that time. Unfortunately, the recent ownership change has resulted in a decline in the formerly high quality accommodations that I have previously experienced. Since our 12-year old son was away this weekend on a school trip, my wife and I decided to get away for a romantic weekend trip to one of our favorite spots. In previous visits to the Christmas Farm Inn, we had been told that the Carriage House rooms did not allow children, as they were reserved especially for couples looking for some quiet time. Since we were "childless" this time, we eagerly reserved a room in this area of the Inn. Much to our chagrin, this policy must have changed. On Friday evening of our stay, the onslaught of noise began. Children running up and down the hall constantly. Children screaming and talking loudly into the night. Children with water guns carrying on in the hallways. Doors slamming non-stop. Of course, this begs the question- where were the parents? In addition, for some unknown reason, the room we were in was susceptible to some sort of plumbing noise. Thursday night, as we tried to sleep, all we could hear was running, gurgling water and the sound of water pouring down a drain. It was right above/next to our room and went on all night, making it impossible to sleep. So to recap- Thursday night we got no sleep because of the plumbing issue, Friday night we got no sleep because of the wild children, and Saturday we got no sleep because the water noise returned. What should have been the first time in over 12 years that we had a quiet weekend to ourselves was ruined by inconsiderate guests and noisy plumbing. Very, very disappointing. read more

Let's start with this. My wife has a Gilmore Girls obsession. As in she could sit down and watch that show at any point in the day. So while we barnstormed New England during our two-week vacation, this version of the Dragonfly Inn was our home for three days. And what a home it was, with several buildings over the Inn's campus. The rooms are not luxe, okay? So deal with that. They are, well, comfortable as they should be. The antique furniture comes with an antique bathroom. It's a package deal. That's just the gestalt of a place like this. But, in an area like this, isn't the bedroom just the box where they keep the bed? I mean, who's really sleeping in, lolling about in their room while scenic New Hampshire awaits? Honeymooners, perhaps. Or those having an assignation, scribbling Mr. and Mrs. John Smith in the hotel register and paying in cash. For the rest of us, it's out the door each morning to see the sights, walk the trail, and see the fauna. The restaurant is very good, kind of perfect for a place like this. There's a nice bar. There's a firepit outside with a nice view of the mountains, a place where you can meet other guests. We are naturally affable, so we had conversations well into the evening. They didn't even make fun of our Southern accents. The people who run this place are friendly and awfully good at their jobs, too. Spin by the front desk for helpful suggestions on what to do and see. My one quibble? Drive the highways of New Hampshire and there are signs everywhere warning us about moose. We got up early just to see them. Not one moose anywhere to be seen. Based on the signage, we were expecting moose/meese by the boxcar. Which begs the question, 'Why does the New Hampshire Highway Department lie to us?" Mind you, that's not the Christmas Farm Inn's fault. But they should definitely create an animatronic moose for the benefit of their guests. Or keep a few in a nearby pond for us to see. That would be sweet. read more

We were delighted with the Christmas Farm Inn and Spa when we 'discovered' it about 6 years ago. Have been going back once or twice a year since then. Unfortunately our experiences over the last couple of years have been disappointing and after last week we don't plan on returning. We arrived for a 3 day getaway on Wednesday, at 2:00 PM after a 3 1/2 hour ride. Even though our room was ready we were told that we could not enter until check in time (3:00 PM). We were forced to cool our heels for an hour, in the rain, until precisely 3:00 PM. As 3 approached four other couples pulled in who had experienced the same rude reception. (Turns out the room had been cleaned two days earlier). After unpacking and settling into the room we discovered that the cable TV wasn't working. With no direct line to the front desk I had to walk down to inquire and found out it was down in all of the rooms and wouldn't be addressed for a few days. No urgency whatsoever. (We were offered a $20 resort fee discount). Other small issues (no face cloths in the room and no one around after 6 to help). We stayed the night and canceled the following nights' stay. You can deal with 'stuff' happening, no big deal. But the attitude on the part of management/ownership of indifference almost to the point of unfriendliness? No thanks. Our first night, there was a loud party happening directly outside of our room until 9:30pm. Second night, was like a heard of elephants until after 11pm. Not relaxing! Tried calling the front desk multiple times about the noise and no answers! Pro: food was good. Ate dinner and breakfast here and it was very fresh (but pricey). Overall, would not return. I really want to love this inn. We have been several times over the past years and have loved it until the last time we came last year. I actually wrote a review of it the, but deleted it because I felt bad. We came this past week to give it another try, but sadly were disappointed again. I think the main issue is the lack of attention to detail. The inn has changed hands a few times, and it seems the new owners are pretty hands off. The room was nice enough, but the blinds had holes in them, I found a piece of M&M cookie on the floor next to the bed (not mine), and it seemed overall not kept up well. Upon arrival, there were maintenance people working in the room right at the main entrance of the saltbox building. Our room was upstairs, so we just stepped around the stuff and went up. There was a decent amount of dirt and mud left on the floor just inside the main door from the workers. This floor stayed like this for the entirety of our visit. I mean, clean up a floor..... The breakfast was unavailable, but they offered us breakfast at their sister inn down the road. From our visit last time, we realized that the breakfast is not only not included, but very pricey for what you get. We got it for the convenience of walking right over. If I'm going to get in my car to go for breakfast, there are much better options at some local breakfast places. One of the charms of an inn is getting breakfast on site in the morning. The pool area was ok, but there was a lot of dirt and sludge in the hot tub, didn't look like anyone had been in to clean in quite some time. In the past when we have come, we had gotten a really nice inn vibe... Everyone that worked there from the front desk to the maintenance people were very friendly. This time, barely anyone made eye contact. The person who checked us in was nice, but just very business like. Seems more like a hotel than an inn. I got emails and texts every day asking to rate my visit. I got an email the morning of my departure stating I could leave the keys in the room and check out... again, not personable like it used to be. I used to love this inn, but I think after the last 2 times, it's time to move on. We have booked a week in the fall and will be staying at a different inn down the road. read more

When I made my reservation for a 7:30 PM dinner, they asked what the event was for, I said anniversary. They did nothing to commemorate the event. Not even a card on the table or writing happy anniversary on the check. Absolutely nothing. We showed up 10 minutes before our reservation and were told that we were going to have to wait "a couple minutes" because they were busy, thus defeating the entire point of a reservation... We then waited 25 minutes past our original reservation time and were finally seated in a mostly empty dining room. Good thing we waited half an hour! Drinks were fine. Appetizer was okay. For dinner I got the steak ordered medium delivered to me cooked blue raw to rare, as a man I'm not going to send it back on my already disastrous anniversary dinner. My wife got the duck she called mediocre. The real icing on the cake is upon leaving, we used the bathroom which had no power and no functioning lights in it. So my wife had to go to the bathroom in the pitch black. Thanks for making my anniversary dinner one to remember - and not in any way positive Christmas farm Inn. read more

Visit Dates: May 25, 2018 to May 27, 2018 I absolutely loved this hotel. My sister chose to stay in it during our family trip to NH. She chose it for the Christmas theme. Everything was terrific from what we experienced. The breakfast included with our stay was fantastic. They put out a cold bar that you could help yourself too and they had waiters take your orders. The breakfast was free with your stay but you did have to tip the waiters. That's reasonable. I didn't like my chocolate chip pancakes all that much but the rest of the food I ate at the hotel during our other breakfast there and our dinner that we had in the restaurant was very good. The restaurant supposedly did not allow children running around but they totally didn't give us a hard time about our little boy not sitting down. I love the staff for that! They also had an entertainment room right by the restaurant so our son got to play there and hubby and I were still close to the big table that they sat our family at for dinner when we had dinner in the restaurant. Our room had a fridge and a coffee maker and that was great because we packed lunches to eat during our trip, I bought along protein shakes and I bought along coffee to make during our trip, even though the hotel's coffee was pretty good. I loved our room, perfect for our co-sleeping family of 3. The staff was really friendly, the grounds were amazingly pretty and the decor were awesome. I would recommend staying here to anyone looking to stay in the Jackson area. read more

Excellent from start to finish. We were worried when we saw a wedding going on upon our arrival, but we were able to have an exceptionally peaceful stay. The grounds were well kept and cozy. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The king size bed was heavenly. The pool and hot tub were clean and we had the entire building to ourselves. Dinner was okay. The service was great. We stayed in a suite in the Carriage House and I highly recommend those accommodations. Very cozy. read more

We had booked a girls trip over 6 months ago to celebrate a 40th birthday party when we arrived after a 3 hour drive there was no power and no running water. We arrived around 6 and power had been out since 1pm. Obviously the Inn cannot control the weather but to be in this industry and not have a generator or a plan to communicate with guests in advance seems negligent. When we provided feedback that it would have been nice to at least know that there was no power we were told "that would have required us to use our personal cell phones to call you". I dont understand how any company can operate without an emergency management plan inclusive of how to communicate with guests. Had we been called we likely would have headed up the next morning so that we could have enjoyed our spa weekend if power had come back on and only missed one night. The lack of insight and planning for guests who are traveling from far away was extremely disappointing. The fact that a trip that was planned so far in advance was canceled in this way is beyond disappointing. I would never recommend this place to anyone or trust them with an important life event. read more

First, I will say that we heard people complain that the place "felt old and outdated" so I want to address that it is an old and rustic inn...so it's EXACTLY what I expected if not CLEANER than I expected. Were there creaks and such? Yes. But the feel was cozy and relaxing. The staff continuously went above and beyond. They even text when you're there to see if you need anything. They put so much thought into everything especially if you share why you're there (a birthday or anniversary etc). We both had spa appointments and that lemon water is *chef's kiss*. The staff were so friendly and the masseuses made sure we were both comfortable and they targeted exactly the spots we had issues with. They talked us through alignments and such- so knowledgeable. I loved the fire pit view. I loved the AC unit in the room (might seem like a silly detail but some hotels and inns can be rough). The pool and hot tub were fantastic. We went last year, my 1st time and my boyfriends second. It was off season, right before June and no one was there. We had almost EVERYTHING to ourselves. It was perfect. We went to the mistletoe pub almost every night and talked to the bartender/waitress and my God she was so personable! She truly made it so much better and I've continued to remember her fondly. I dont remember her name but she had short brown hair at that time. The whole experience at Christmas farm was amazing, and I loved the carriage house suite. I have not found anything comparable to this place yet, but I am coming back next year and can't wait. read more

We have witnessed several ownership changes in our visits over 40yrs. Tragically, this new ownership didn't complete Mgmt 101. "Look, listen and ask questions" when assessing a successful venture. Changes appear to have been made out of hand, with a pre-conceived notion rather than learning what has made the CFI tick. Furniture has been updated, instead of classic old rock maple in dining room, cheap imported fiberboard tables. Colors changed from warm, homey to typical gray / white hotel style. Formerly charming and welcoming little Misteltoe Pub looks like something from a sterile airport lounge. Simple Inn-touches like morning coffee by the fireplace were eliminated. The restuarant, which has always been a draw was closed 3 nights the week we visited in the evening and closed for breakfast as well! The breakfast which has always been included in your stay will run you upwards of $50 for a couple. The restuarant, where for the first time in my LIFE I had to send back an inedible entree, even eliminated their decades old signature dessert, the "Chocolate bag"! The warm, homey, New England Inn kind of nicities have pretty much been scrubbed from this classic beauty. The only saving grace I can speak to is the staff were all pleasant and helpful. In additio, we saw a young man from the maintenance staff eagerly help an elderly guest navigate the snowy driveway. read more

There was a miscommunication and we assumed we had appointments. We showed up looking forward to their services. The woman at the desk was EXTREMELY rude and blamed her scheduling error on us. So we were treated like children being scolded and ended up not even getting any services since they were all booked up. She topped her rudeness off by warning us to "not slam the door" as we left, as if we would. If you go, make sure you have a confirmation. Will NEVER be back. read more

Apparently these places are not inspected. This was advertised as quaint and pictures were appealing, this was a dump and $500+ a night. Sleeper sofa had stains all over it, as did carpet. Wallpaper was peeling, missing or had been spackled over. Paint was missing on furniture. Holes in walls were not repaired by a professional. Drinks were left on the patio. Definitely not up to cleaning standards post Covid. Linen closet had towels and sheets thrown in not sure if clean or dirty. Pictures are worth 1000 words. read more

We tried to purchase a gift certificate for Christmas for my daughter and son-in-law. We ordered it before Christmas and as of January 2nd we still don't have it. We did receive the dinner gift certificates but not the room gift card. When they answered the phone or returned a call it took days, not minutes or hours. I even told the woman that finally returned my call after 24 hours that she, herself should try to call the Christmas Farm Inn. At one point they had 48 hours before Christmas that they were going to email the gift card. That usually take less than 5 minutes... You'd think. It never happened. They actually blamed the US mail for us not getting it. NO apologies. Hey, they don't give a shit, it's that simple. I guess there doing all right without us. We stayed there 3 times. I hope my daughter eventually goes and loves it but this will be our last call. The service is NOT good and I explained all this kindly to the woman on the phone and she basically dismissed me and past me on to no one. read more

Wow, if i could give a 0 star for the spa and Andrea [ spa manager ] i would. Read this carefully since she has been threatening me by email and calls all day. [ sample below ] I emailed for an appt. I got call #1 saying my day and time where not available. I emailed as well. Call #2 said you can have said day and time. CALL back. I got an email. Since there was so much back and forth, I called to confirm and NO one got back to me all day. I emailed and said i needed a call before i drove all the way there for an unconfirmed appt. I got a horrible, nasty call from Andrea and several nasty emails. Really? all because you can not call to confirm an appt. I'm sorry but this is uncalled for and not proper of management. So unprofessional. I heard from someone in town she is under alot of stress. Well this is no way to run a business. She even threatened to make sure I was never allowed in the inn or spa I would think twice about a spa visit and giving out your email to this unhinged woman. Michelle, I can see you're very agitated and maybe should take a break from your emailing and/or phone to gather yourself. As is listed on the CFI website, in a RED BANNER, our Spa IS CLOSED ON TUESDAYS & WEDNESDAYS. I opened TODAY because I booked especially for YOU and 2 other people. Otherwise, we would be closed today as usual. We have been closed on Tues/Weds for some time now actually. I called you Monday evening after sending your CONFIRMATION email to say I had your technician booked and to please call ME BACK with your CC info because the website did not have it listed. I always include Guest Services on emails involving rude, unhappy or disrespectful clients; that's not "hiding something" that is showing ALL to avoid said unhappy client putting words in my emails which I didn't say or claim they had no contact from the Spa when they cancel the day-of. This review is for the spa only, we did not stay at the Inn. What else to do on a girls getaway then get manis & pedis???? We spent a few fabulous hours getting pampered & loved every minute of it. There were 3 of us, 1 getting a mani & 2 getting pedis. They were kind enough to offer my sis & I the pedi chairs while we waited for our friend to get a mani. She even filled the foot tub for us so we could soak our feet until she could do our pedis. What a treat! The customer service is top notch. If you feel like getting pampered, I recommend a visit to Christmas Farm Inn & Spa! read more

Have been staying here for years but new management is far cry from the old. Previous owners would text you shortly after check in to see if anything was needed. Our repeated requests for a call from the manager was ignored. Our two bedroom cottage had only one ac unit which wasn't enough during a hot and humid July stay. We requested another ac but were told they didn't have...no offer of a new room or any other solution. Service in the restaurant was awful and breakfast is no longer included with your stay. It appears most of the staff is new and inexperienced with little management oversight. I glad there are plants of other places to stay in the area as I doubt I'll be back read more

I wanted to focus on Adrienne who works at the front desk at the Spa. She met us at the door with a smile, was very informative, welcoming, and helpful. She did everything in her power to help us get the services we needed, and told us all about their products as we were curious; she gave us a delicious tea too! Adrienne was also very kind to the rest of the customers that came in as we waited. Thank you! We've enjoyed the hotel a lot so far, the food is excellent! We stayed at the Salt Box in the "Yuletide" room; very cozy for a couple. (There is a smaller third bed across from the King-Sized bed). The bathroom is a bit small but lovely (renovated) and the walk-in shower is very nice. Staff is excellent! read more

We first visited Christmas Inn& Spa after hearing friends talk about their experiences. We first visited and stayed in the Inn itself. Our second visit (for my husband's birthday last year) we stayed in the spa building. third visit was for my birthday last year in September, again we were in the spa building. This most recent visit was for my husband's birthday in March. We stayed in the Salt Box. Each of these rooms was very clean and comfortable. The restaurants were excellent, both service and quality of food. The services in the spa are impressive, well executed and very attractively priced. The first birthday stay for my husband, I ordered a surprise package of balloons and cake . OH MY!! that cake!!! it was so good !! I made it a point to visit the bakery it came from ! We try to make it every year for at least one if not both of our birthdays. read more

We had to cancel a reservation due to a tragic unexpected death of one of the guests that would be staying there. We gave as much notice as possible since he died and that was 10 days. Shocked that we still had to pay the $25 cancellation fee. Zero sympathy. We didn't just cancel for no reason- and we are dealing with enough. Heartless and shameful. read more

This is a cute quant restaurant. The food menu and drink menu had many items to choose from. My husband ordered the turkey dinner, and it was everything one who want (including cranberry sauce). The coconut shrimp and brie cheese appetizers were also excellent. In addition to great food the staff was very friendly and accommodating. If I'm ever back in this part of New Hampshire I will surely dine here again. read more

Had a fantastic 2 night stay this Veterans Day weekend. The people who work here are very friendly and very open to helping with anything and everything you may need. At first I thought it was a little expensive, but it's competitively priced with the other Inns in the area. A GREAT breakfast is also included here, which was quite unexpected. There is a table of cold food items, for example fruit salad, muffins, yogurt, pastries. Then there is a menu of eggs, pancakes, omelets, and more! I was very impressed with this feature. We ate dinner elsewhere, but just because we were already out. We stayed in the Vixen room with a two person jacuzzi tub, which was fantastic. The king sized bed was very comfortable, and everything was very clean! Overall, great place to stay, will definitely be back someday :) read more

Christmas Farm Inn & Spa - Beautiful view! - Hotels Near Me - Jackson, New Hampshire

We decided to make another winter visit to the area and chose The Christmas Farm Inn again. This time we "upgraded" to the Carriage House. We were very pleased. The room was large and in addition to the bedroom are there was a good-sized living area with a fireplace, wet bar, two chairs, couch, coffee table and balcony. The bathroom had a full-sized jacuzzi tub. The included breakfast was still plentiful and delicious and service by all members of the staff was very good. They were super accommodating when I had to change the dates of my reservation just a few weeks before arrival. We were there for unusual snowy circumstances even for this area, getting hit with two twelve inch plus snowstorms in a matter of three days. For those not used to snow, the Carriage House is at the top of a steep hill. We arrived in the middle of one of the ridiculous snowstorms. The woman at the front desk did let us know that if we couldn't make it up the hill, they would shuttle us up. We barely made it in our AWD SUV and if we had waited just ten minutes, the plow came by. They really do their best keeping up with the plowing and shoveling. It was just close to impossible during these storms. They do provide shovels to dig your vehicle out. The woman at the front desk did mention we could call for assistance if we needed it, but we didn't. Bring boots! This really is common sense, but you will have to walk up and down the hill to get to breakfast. After a few days, we gave up on that because the freezing and melting made the edges of the road icy and it was just easier to drive down and park across the street. Again, the road was well sanded and the really do keep up with this. If you aren't used to winter conditions, be aware. We did see some people that weren't prepared for the conditions. I would without a doubt stay here again and you should consider it for your visit to the Mount Washington Valley. read more
