Good customer service, but options are a little limited when it is slow. Lemon fill was not very good. Prices are decent. Can get a dozen for $20 and half for $10. Still quite a lot, in my opinion. But donuts now and days cost quite a lot anywhere. Parking is not great. The parking lot services a lot of shops in the small strip mall. Be prepared, cash only. I would go again to get donuts, but I would not go out of my way. read more

The owner was super kind and let us try out the thai tea and coffee before committing to buying it but the sample cup was like a whole cup of coffee! There is no AC in the store so in the summer time it gets hot. A convenient and classic donut shop to come to if you live around the area. read more

We liked the customer reviews for this donut shop. So finally today we stopped and were extremely happy with the donuts, the service and the cleanliness of the store. The gentleman behind the counter was very gracious to answer my questions and picked my donuts that the family wanted very quickly. The apple fritter that was specifically ordered by my husband is absolutely large and he says it taste wonderful. Stopped by for a quick breakfast a couple of weeks ago, trying to support more local businesses. Be aware, it's CASH ONLY! The breakfast sandwich was definitely good enough to warrant a 4 star rating! We got the one with the egg, cheese, bacon and ham on croissant to share bc it's big! It was excellent! Flaky, fresh croissant with hot, melty cheese and plenty of meat and egg! We also got a chocolate bar that looked like it had cream in it, but it ended up just being a plain donut inside. Nothing's really labeled so it's impossible to know and I had a lot of trouble communicating with the staff so I gave up lol. Also, most of their cases were empty so probably want to go early for more variety (not unusual for small mom & pop donut shops so no big deal). read more

I had the best experience here!! I came in before work to grab some donuts and after I had already picked out my dozen I realized it was cash only! The owner was so kind boxed up my order and said "pay me next time" I was shocked and couldn't believe a small business was really doing this! I came in this morning to christys donuts in monrovia. I was on my way to work and wanted to bring some donuts to share with my elderly client. A very nice and kind gentleman helped me, when it came time to pay I presented my debit card and he said to me cash only, and I said sorry I only have my card so I will have to leave behind the donuts... he smiled and gave me a receipt and told me come back tomorrow or next week to pay. Wow! How awesome is that!! I left and was able to go over to the 7- eleven to withdraw some cash and returned to pay him.. he then offered me one more donut to take with me. Thank you kind sir!! On Christmas Day I saw this place was open, so I stopped in the grab some donuts for my kids. There was a sign that read "cash only" and of course I had none. The guy behind the counter was so sweet, gave me a box of donuts and told me to bring the money another day. I had a great experience at Christy's Donuts. Clean donut shop and has good customer service. I usually go to another donut shop, but I moved over an hour away from Monrovia. To my surprise, I did not know they close Mondays. I found Christy's Donuts on Yelp and decided to give it a try. They didn't have the white glazed peanut donut. The owner was sweet to add peanuts on a white glazed donut. I didn't know they only accept cash, and I was a dollar short. The owner was incredibly kind and insisted that I take the donuts and pay him back later. I was touched by his generosity and trust. First let me say how I've been going to Christy's Donuts for years, every Saturday and Sunday morning before heading to baseball practice with my son, I always get my usual the ham n cheese croissant from Christy's Donuts. This morning I decided to stop for a ham and cheese croissant. When I arrived at work and opened the up the croissant to add some eggs into it, I noticed there was less ham. Usually there's two slices of ham but I only found a half a sliced of ham in my croissant this morning. Now Iook, I know we're in a time where everything is getting overly expensive, and making it harder for small businesses to survive but how do you go from two slices of ham to a half slice?! That's not right and if Christ's Donuts should then raise their prices a little more instead of cheating the customers. Went in today for a breakfast sandwich and donuts have never been here guy really friendly took some time making my sandwich egg bacon ham cheese on a bagel. I heard a microwave beep. Once I saw the sandwich I figured they had pre-made feelings heated them up and put them in a toasted bagel but it tasted fine. And then I decided to peel away the bagel and not eat all of it and that's when I found yuck. My first thought was pepper but then there's way too much is a mold? I don't know I keep telling myself it's pepper and I feel fine and it's been a couple of hours but time will tell. It was very off-putting. The donuts are fine and he even threw in an extra one. I like the main lady because she gives me just the right amount of sass. I think this place makes pretty good donuts. I'm a fan of their jalepeno, ham and cheese croissant (thought the filling isn't always found throughout). This hole in the wall donut shop doesn't look like much. When I walked in I didn't see anyone and was about to leave but the guy in the back came out to greet me. I asked for a mixed dozen donuts and didn't think anything of it. He also gave me a free glazed twist. I didn't realize it was cash only. Luckily I found some cash in the car. To my surprise, the glazed twist was light and fluffy. It didn't have a nasty after taste like some donuts leave. It also had some type of filling. Not a lot but enough to notice. It was so good!
