If you're in a urgent need for middle of the night donuts ask for the stuff the guy is making fresh of you don't. You will get day old doughnuts that may be stale but not moldy. I was eating semi hard doughnuts. If I wanted to feel like I'm eating a concha I'd go to a Panadería but hey 24hr service. read more

Heart shaped donuts? You've GOT to be kidding me! No jokes, though, because I walked out with half a dozen of 'em and it was SO fresh and tasty. It is a mom and pop shop of Asian owners and they were both SUPER nice. I'm a Krispy Kreme and Dunkin' type of girl so I was a bit skeptical about trying donuts here, but I'm glad that I did! They're open at 4am and when I stopped in not too long after they opened, they were fully stocked with beautiful fresh donuts! They had heart donuts which I thought was such a cute touch. Fresh donuts!! Found my new donut shop as I just moved to the Monrovia area!!! This place needs more then 29 reviews!! I know they just reopened due to covid and wanted to support. I'm not sure the covid protocols here. When I walked in the woman was working on a machine but had no mask on. When she realized I was there she quickly put one on. So I don't know if donuts are made with or without masks. There was no sanitizer or anything on the counter. Ordered a couple things. 2 of them were stale. Almost like a day old stale. The glazed twist was on point though. So maybe they aren't going through as much as before. Authentic donut shop vibes all around here. My only qualm is that the donuts are noticeably more expensive than other places akin. This, however, does not keep me away. The donuts are delicious and there is never a long wait. Most notably though, I can't think of another donut shop that also sells lighters and cigarettes -see my photos if you need proof. 10/10 recommend visiting if you enjoy working class hangouts and the like. read more

Totally my new daily 6am spot for a super hot bagel (plain only here) with CC. They have those industrial 7-11 vibe "cappuccino and mocha" machine where you press the plastic button and it makes a loud noise and ejects super hot and too sweet "cappuccino". It's awesome. 2 bagels with CC + 1 small cappuccino = $5. Done and done! read more

Okay, so I think the address listed for this place is wrong, but whatever the case, just know that it's located in the plaza on the corner of Buena Vista and Huntington that also houses Big Lots. Anyway, I'm in the Duarte area quite often since one of my friends lives on Buena Vista, so I've been to this place on a number of occasions. I've tried thai ice tea w/boba, a regular glazed donut, a ham and cheese egg croissant, and an apple fritter. The tea was satisfactory, nothing special, as was the croissant. The donuts were pretty good, particularly the apple fritter. Apple fritters are without a doubt my favorite donut and I love that the ones they sell here are of a very generous size. I don't remember the cost of things here, but they are pretty cheap, not much more than $1-2. In terms of service, I'd have to say it's enough to be satisfactory. The workers are fast with what they do, they simply get what it is you want and nothing more. I really don't care about being greeted and starting conversations so it doesn't bother me. One unique thing I want to point out is the hours on this place. I'm not sure when they open or close, but usually, it's closed by 9 PM and then later on they're back open by 11 PM and well into the early morning. I've had my apple fritter cravings satisfied at 1:30 AM before. read more

A&P Donuts is our favorite donut spot. The donuts are always fresh and delicious, and the owners are wonderful. We have been regulars there since our triplets were toddlers. The owners always ask about the kids, and once when our daughter got sick in the parking lot (carsickness), they insisted on cleaning up for us so we could get her home. They even threw in a free donut and milk for her for later. It's rare to find people who go out of their way to be so kind. We now have a donut shop that is much closer to us, but we will always make the drive to support A&P! read more

So I stop by today 5/1/19 and I order orange juice and I got a pink orange juice for 6 dollars I expect a orange juice not a beets and Carrot juice I ask the lady that I want orange juice and she told me that for that she need to clean the juice machine.l so I ask her don't you clean your machine when they ask for different juices she told me nope we only clean the machine at closing time. Oh wow, forget jamba juice, come here for amazing cold press juice. I was craving donuts and saw a poster for the juice and thought I would give it a chance and so glad I did. This place seems to serve everything but advertising displays does not look great and the decor has an old worn out diner feel but don't let that deter you like it did me for 5 years. The donuts were good, I picked up 6 donuts (chocolate bar, glazed bar, coconut flake cake donut) and I thought cheese tasted fresh, not greasy or overly sweet. However the juice is what will bring me back. You can ask them to customize the juice too. Prices were very reasonable. read more

I come here every week and I always tip. I buy these for the place I work at. They love these donuts. They're gone right away. The people at my work area are picky eaters too. The lady at the shop see's me and she preps the box because she knows it's about to go down lol. They remember regulars orders. Also the customer service is fantastic and personal. Food is always Fresh when I come here. Their donuts are soft and doesn't have the oil aftertaste that lingers like other places. It's cute that they make heart donuts. They also have fresh juice and sandwiches made to order. The juice is fresh and healthy, juiced right in front of you in an industrial juicer. The sandwiches are made while you wait. The service is always above and the ladies at the counter is always friendly. Great mom and pop shop. I was driving out to Duarte 2 days ago. I was listening to NPR, a story about some expensive donut in NYC was on the air. Mmmmm...made me hungry for donuts. I walked in to get a donut on the way to the .99 Store. I just loved my "Ol Fashioned buttermilk glazed donut. I don't get over to Duarte very often, even though I'm not that far.
