I stopped by to try their mochi donuts and had a really great experience. Everything was clean and well organized, and the donuts were beautifully displayed with a nice variety of flavors to choose from. ::Dessert:: The texture of the donuts was soft, chewy, with a light crisp on the outside. There was a variety of flavors like Oreo, Biscoff, Strawberry & Cream, Chocolate, Vanilla glaze, Fruity Pebbles, and Churro. Not overly sweet, which I liked. Just one donut can be enough. ::Customer Service:: June and Brandon were both very welcoming from the moment I walked in. Since it was hard choosing between the different flavors, they were really patient and helpful without ever making me feel rushed. It started awesome into I got into the potato hot dog on the stick. It was still uncooked see my photo. I couldn't eat it. I have been here before this last time & have loved it before. The guy who took my order was so nice & great! But I ordered a mozzarella corn dog with potato's on it which is my go to here, he added the sugar. I went along my happy way & when I went to eat it, it wasn't cooked all the way thru. So it was a mix between uncooked / ooey gooey/ mush inside like the batter of the corn dog. But then the end the mozzarella wasn't even fully melty. It was so unpleasant. I couldn't even eat it. I didn't wanna risk getting sick! I will let him know next time I go in since I usually like this place. Hopefully this doesn't happen again :( read more

I came here in the evening during the summertime, and I applaud the nice and cold air conditioning. I asked the nice young lady at the register what she recommended, and she recommended half mozzarella cheese and half hot dog potato dog, as it was my first time. It was delicious and pretty affordable. The mochi donuts looked good but I didn't have any this time. They seemed kind of pricey. The staff was nice and they made my food to order, so it came out piping hot! read more

I think this is the only place in Arcadia that serves these delightfully bouncy mochi donuts! They usually have a rotating menu of seasonal flavors, as well as some classics. I stopped by for a Yelp elite experience item to get my free mochi doughnut, but decided to try the Dubai chocolate smoothie as well. The drink itself was pretty pricey (~$9) but I enjoy the pistachio flavor. They also have a strawberry variation of this, but I opted for the original. It gets sweeter as the smoothie melts, and was pretty filling by the end of it. I also ended up getting more mochi donuts. My favorite was the maple flavor and pistachio flavor donuts. We concluded our visit with our daughter by deciding to find a dessert place that served something with the popular Dubai chocolate. My wifey was in the mood to buy boba, but she found Domo Mochi Donut & Corn Dog on Yelp and decided to change her mind because Domo served Dubai Chocolate Smoothies. Domo also served mochi donuts, so drinking their tasty Dubai Chocolate smoothies and eating their yummy mochi donuts were the proverbial icing on the cake of our weekend visit with our daughter. Domo is located in Arcadia within a small strip mall. It's located in the same strip mall as Soonhee, CC Cake, Opus Sushi, and it's a few doors down from Happy Lemon. Parking is in a private lot, but I'm sure during peak hours, the lot can get packed. Domo is a small locale with about three black round tables that each seats two people and there's a few tables outside, so it would be difficult to have a large party hang out here. Inside, the color scheme on the walls are pink and white, the flooring is black laminate, the walls have a graphic of a partially eaten mochi donut, there are hung pics of the food Domo serves, and there's a small arcade game where you control a mechanical hook to grab prizes. The young man behind the counter was friendly and apologetic about our wait for the Dubai chocolate smoothies. Dubai chocolate is the new fad where businesses are trying to capitalize by selling chocolates and other types of food that incorporate this popular chocolate. Every time I visit a Costco, my wife tells me to look for Dubai chocolate that always sells out. When my family and I were talking about where we wanted to eat dessert, once I heard that Domo sold a Dubai Chocolate Smoothie, I told them let's see what this smoothie is all about. Besides this smoothie, Domo also sells mochi donuts, mochi churros, a few savory choices, and boba milk teas. For their Dubai chocolate smoothies, they sell two flavors, which are the Dubai Chocolate Smoothie and the Dubai Chocolate Strawberry Smoothie. We ordered both flavors to see which one we liked better. We actually loved both flavors with Dubai Chocolate edging out the Chocolate Strawberry because the strawberry needed to be more pronounced. We loved these two smoothies because they were flavorful, creamy, the Dubai chocolate was generously intertwined in the drinks, the pistachio base was yummy, and the shredded kataifi were tasty as you took each sip. Take my advice and order some mochi donuts to eat with your smoothies. We ordered a pack of three with two of the donuts being Banana Pudding and one being Strawberry & Cream. The banana pudding was our favorite, but I really enjoyed both flavors. The icings of both donuts clearly tasted like their flavors, the donuts were fresh, they were finger licking, and I wished we had ordered more than three. We had a great weekend spending quality time with our daughter where she took us to some memorable restaurants. Visiting Domo was a first for all of us, but it won't be our last visit because we really enjoyed their Dubai Chocolate Smoothies and their Mochi Donuts. read more

Since I was basically being forced to buy something I didn't want, I said I didn't want anything. She just said "okay" and moved on to help the rest of my family. At that point I told my family we were leaving and heading to Bloomfield Creamery in Altadena instead. The employee had every opportunity to use a little common sense and simply give me the slice I asked for. I work hard for my money, and if I'm paying premium prices, I expect to choose what I'm buying. Instead, they lost Madre family of customers for good.

I definitely could taste the ube flavor, but the matcha flavor was weak. Additionally, the ice cream was not creamy. It was slightly icey. Somisomi's ice cream is much creamier, so I was disappointed with With Love's quality. Taiyaki with cookie butter: I really liked their taiyaki! It was crispy and slightly sweet. The cookie butter was great, but I just wish there was more filling. I do think their taiyaki is better than Somisomi's! Overall, With Love was a nice place to try for the first time, but I don't think I'll be back. I still prefer Somisomi, especially since they are actually cheaper than With Love with better quality.

The cashier was kind and patient. We received our order quickly. There is plenty of seating inside the store. Bingsu Bingsu is located on the promenade side of the Arcadia Westfield mall. Unfortunate I saw a sign that's said they were closing for business at the end of July. So if you're in the area, try to give them some love before they go.

I have been going to Moo Moo Mia for a while now and it has been one of my favorite delights when it comes to craft ice cream. They offer monthly flavors along with some more original staples and lets be honest, with summer looming, knowing a great ice cream spot is always a must. At the time of my visit, I was hooked on the Strawberry Koldski which was inspired by the Danish roots and a mix of sweet and tart Strawberry. I got a double and I simply wanted more. My go to, is the Oreo and Cream which is one of the best Cookies and Cream variants I have ever had. Everyone is super nice and you can have tastings of the different flavors until you land on one. Trust me, some flavors hit on different days! The shop is in the famous Monrovia shopping area, which adds to the allure of visiting. There were specific flavors such as snickers, Mexican hot chocolate, KitKat, and I saw an alcoholic one. A scoop of ice cream is 4.99$ and the pops I le is around 2$. The menu pricing was a bit cut off or blacked out on the end (see photos). There was only one staff helping us at the time. So we had to wait a bit but overall they have so much more than just candy and deserts. They have drinks, snacks, and sandwiches (jam only currently). Overall, it's just like any other michoacana stores. It was colorful, bright, clean, and has so much to select. The restroom was locked with a keypad but I didn't need to go so I didn't ask.

Most of their other locations are on the East Coast and in Illinois. The interior is definitely unique, with large lanterns, archways, honeycomb-style seating, individual dining areas, and lots of decorative details throughout the space. Luckily, we arrived before 6 PM and got seated right away. Not long after we sat down, a crowd started coming in and there was already a line forming. After looking through the menu for a while, we decided to order: #1 Tokyo Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen (Black Garlic) $17.99 (They mentioned this one has sold over 500,000 bowls nationwide.) My husband ordered this one and tried all the broths. He thought this had the best flavor overall. #2 Braised Pork Belly Ramen $18.99 (This was one of their featured menu items in 2024.) This was my choice. The noodles were generous, and the pork belly was so dark in color that it almost looked like beef. We actually had to double-check that it was pork! #3 Mega Ramen (Tempura) $19.99 The garlic flavor was quite strong in this broth. #6 Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen $18.99 (This is one of their most popular choices in New York.) It does have a noticeable level of spice, so if you can only handle a little heat, this one might not be the best choice. Side dishes: Gua Bao (2 pcs) $9.49 Popcorn Chicken (3 orders) $26.97 Pan-fried Dumplings $8.99 Japanese Fries (2 orders) $15.98 Strawberry Banana Smoothie $6 One fun detail: the bottom of each ramen bowl has a message showing either a prize or a "thank you for visiting." Lol The Tokyo tonkotsu shouyu ramen with white garlic ramen contains their signature pork-broth bowl featuring chashu pork, bamboo shoots, wakame, half a marinated egg, nori, corn, and scallion. The thinly sliced chashu pork was tender and juicy. The soft-boiled egg was marinated in a sweet and salty soy-based sauce. Loved the perfectly jammy yolks and deep umami flavor. The bamboo shoots, wakame, nori, corn, and scallion all enhanced the flavor of this dish. The shining star of this dish was obviously the broth. This dish contains a rich and creamy pork bone broth seasoned with umami-packed soy sauce. The white garlic adds a signature sweet, pungent, and toasty aroma that perfectly cuts through the heavy fat of the broth. The ramen was cooked perfectly al dente. Would definitely order this again. Staff: The staff here are very attentive, friendly, and helpful. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.
