Background On Visit: Recently, there was a lot of exposure on this donut shop due to it being on the news. The owner, Francois, organized a fundraiser for one of the Monterey Park shooting victims (Yu Kao) where 100% of sales went toward his funeral expenses. I decided to go on the last day of the fundraiser to support. Check in deal: Buy a coffee purchase and get a free donut. Location/Parking: Located on the NW corner of W. Live Oak Ave. and Las Tunas Dr.. Parking is limited in the shared lot, but you can park on Live Oak Ave. or on Las Tunas Dr.. Ambiance/decor: Cool donut shop ambiance with a limited amount of furnishings to sit and eat on. Service: Service was good. Francois (owner) was very nice, friendly, and attentive. The food and drink came out at a decent time. Donut Of Choice: Had a regular glazed donut. It was quite solid. I didn't taste a lot of oil when I took the first bite so that's good. Pastry Of Choice: Had a regular croissant. It was soft, moist, and very good. Arcadia Donuts For Thought: Would definitely come back to support small business.

Arcadia Donuts is a small little shop located in a small plaza. It's a neighborhood shop that serves some tasty donuts. For all the times I've been there, and this is purely my fault for going there late in the day, they were a bit low on choices. That tells me they have fresh donuts that sell out early and it's a good sign. But for the few times that I got what I want, usually the glazed old fashioned and others random favorites, they were always good. I love small family owned businesses when done right, and they do it right here. By that, I mean owners who work hard and are always pleasant towards customers. The lady is always so nice. (You'd be surprised how many business owners get that part wrong) I'm glad they are only a short drive from home where I can get my old fashioned donut fix, and I'll definitely make an effort to show up earlier next time. There's a small parking lot shared with another business, and you should always be able to find a parking spot. Go support the small biz!

Hubby explored and bought some donuts while I was getting my lashes done nearby. Compared to other places, their glazed donut holes are so soft and fluffy and the glaze is the perfect amount of sweetness.

It's always a good day when you got a bow on your hand that was my thought when I walked away from the rental car drop off and headed toward the donut shop. All I can think was I hope this place has Boba or at least something cold and possibly fruity. Everything else in the area looked a little sad and gray but this little pop of color at the corner of Live Oak and Las Tunas caught my eye as I open the door. I was greeted by a cool rush of air and the sight of everything I might need. A full self service, cold beverage fridge, a coffee service table, a full counter of fresh donuts, some chips and candy and a extensive menu of Smoothies Slushes and Teas all of which can be ordered with Crystal or standard Boba. The gal behind the counter had a very nice smile, gentle demeanor, and a baby bump which made me feel like this was a great family place and I was happy. I found it. The bathroom was clean the whole place smelled slightly sweet from donuts and fruit juices. I wanted to try a little bit of everything, but I settled for a blueberry green tea and a mango slush with Boba both which or very well done. The guy was nice enough to fill my yeti with ice and I bought a water bottle from the fridge in the corner. I'll put a couple bills in the tip jar and to round out my experience she gave me a bag of donut holes to sample. They were light air, fluffy, and just sweet enough. I thanked her and I told her I would definitely be back. The only thing I felt was a little off was the fact that no one else was in the establishment. I feel something like this deserves a lot more traffic and patronage so hopefully you either find your way here or make plans for it. Then coming on yelp I saw that it was listed as Permanently closed. I don't know if they were under construction or are under new management or if they are a entirely new business but I can assure you as of August 11, 2025 they are open for business. Please stop in soon.

Sausage egg and cheese toast. Pretty good for being $5

Really good value! This nice little donut shop is a bit on the smaller side of donut shops, but has pretty much all the things you'd expect from such shops in this area. It's got donuts, breakfast sandwiches, smoothies... Pretty typical pricing mostly, but the breakfast sandwiches can be had for under five bucks. Under five bucks! In this day and age! I had a Sausage Egg and Cheese toast sandwich and it was delicious! My god it was perfectly made and satisfied my hunger easily. You can also get it as a breakfast combo for $7 (Sandwich + Donut + Canned drink). You get the more premium drinks for an additional $1 upcharge. Honestly, if I had one thing I'd improve about that sandwich, it's that the toast could use some butter, then it'd be perfect! They also have Bagels and Croissants available as alternatives to the toast. The place itself is pretty small, and also like many donut shops, looks a little old, with some cheap looking furniture that you can sit at. There's a coca-cola branded ceiling fan that looks like it hasn't been used in a while. I couldn't help but notice a layer of dust on it... HOWEVER! The donuts and sandwiches are great, and you're probably not sticking around for very long, so it's not a huge deal. It's also convienently located near a number of auto shops, so you can visit this place while waiting for your car to get checked out!

    Dozen donuts.

My first time visiting Arcadia Donuts to support the fundraiser put together by the owners. The shop is located within the same plaza as Yung Ho soy milk shop. Free parking right in front of the shop. I'm normally not a big donut eater but loved the chocolate donut!! They also have a number of breakfast sandwiches so I would like to try it out next time. A great mom and pop shop with friendly owners. Five stars

Went today to buy donuts to support the Monterey Park shooting victims. Many people came for the same purpose and there was a long line inside the store. The couple there were very nice and friendly. We got a couple of dozen donuts for our family and friends. Their donuts are very good. Many varieties are available here and sandwiches and bagels are also on display. The prices are reasonable. For two dozen and a dozen of donut holes, we paid $28. I loved the French cruller donuts while my wife was a fan of the glazed donut. There are a few tables inside for dined in. Parking is a bit tight but street parkings are plenty.

I like to go to Arcadia Donuts because it is conveniently located near my job. It's easy to pop right in and get a donut with some chocolate milk. Plus, the people here are nice. One of my favorite things to get from here is the french cruller donut. They just taste better than a regular glaze donut. Also, their breakfast sandwiches always look good, but I never have enough time to wait to get one. It is definitely on my list of things to try here. Overall, this place has some tasty donuts and it is nice to support a small business.

My first time stopping by was this morning! Heard about this shop on the news and had no idea it was less than 2 miles from home. I love that this mom & pop shop is passionate about community, as they're currently donating proceeds to the Monterey park mass shooting that happened recently. The donuts were fresh and yummy too! The prices excellent compared to other shops in the area! I'm looking forward to supporting this shop going forward!

My family and I really enjoyed the outstanding customer service from this husband/wife duo. The buttermilk donut takes the cake for being the best donut! We also ordered some sausage, egg & cheese breakfast croissants which were yummy and flavorful!

This place is very unassuming but a hidden gem. The selection isn't huge, but the quality of this mom and pop is totally worth it. Donuts are big and fresh, and cheap! Breakfast Sammies are huge and only $4.95. Ps, is a small parking lot.

When I first walked in I noticed it had a quaint neighborhood type vibe. It was very clean. I ordered a ham and cheese croissant, which is very tasty. A decaf coffee, which is quite good! The croissant was big it was a big sandwich! I liked this place very much. I had a great fortune to be served by the owners of the place. Several workers came into the location, and it was sweet to see them interact with them. I love this place I will be back! Support local business!
