Horrible customer service. I never post reviews, but they were so rude, I feel compelled to write this. I showed a picture of what I wanted to the nail technician. When I told her the shape of the nails was not like the picture, she simply filed it all away and said that she would not do anything. This salon was worth the search. I visited this salon on February 15, 2020. My appointment was scheduled for 9:30 am. I got there a little late, but despite that, I was seen right away. Once I sat down, I observed the atmosphere and I was absolutely impressed with the cleanliness of the salon. There were two technicians working, both women were so welcoming and friendly. I switched here from another local nail salon because it was closer. I love this place. Very clean, super friendly employees and they always fit you in, even if they're busy. The prices are right in line with other salons in the area, and the special they currently are running for a mani/pedi for $30 on Mon, Tues & Wed is fabulous. This is my go to nail salon...I've tried many others but there really is no place like Christy's nails. Linda, Sophia and the entire staff are very friendly and pleasant. Got a pedi & mani based on reviews. An elderly woman did mine. She took her time. 1 hr for pedi & 45 mins for mani. The only clean thing about this place that is clean is the floor & bathroom. All the products need to be cleaned/wiped down. Most of the polishes had 1/3 left in them. As a result I settled for a color that was at least half full. She had to put polish thinner when she got to the mani. The neck of the bottle was filled with polish. This is a small unappealing place but staff took time with clients. No music or water to drink. Not a particularly clean place. They reuse the sponge toe separators! This is not a green shop as it smelled of chemicals. They need to wear name tags. read more

Christy's nails is great. The prices are very reasonable for the area and both times I've gotten a service it's been done very well. The ladies who work there speak pretty good English and they are professional and don't carry on with one another the entire time. I get a gel manicure and pedicure and they are very thorough. Kim has done my nails both times and she is really nice too. I had some nail art done and she did a great job. This is definitely my local nail spot. read more

Friendly place. Service is okay. They need more staff. Most of the time, there are only 3 people working and the wait is ridiculously long. The place itself is very clean, however, I don't think the tools they use are hygienic. They are always whispering in their language and it can get very intruding. They do thin the nail polishes and often times there are bubbles because of it. They also have to increase their massage times in a regular pedicure. They barely massage and it is not equal from person to person. One staff does it for a good time and the remaining barely spend any time on the toes especially compared to other nail salons in the area. Manicure is below average. They don't file, and forget to put nailpolish on the sides of the nail. Good nail polish color selection. read more

I love coming to Christy's nails. They women (and men!) are always so super friendly and happy and will remember if you're a repeat customer, no matter how often you frequent. They take appointments and walk ins, and are always accommodating. It's clean and I never feel like I'm going to walk away with a problems. If you're looking to 'relax' it's not much of a spa setting (the price is right was playing on the TV)- but it's perfect for the occasional manicure / pedicure. They run specials on a gel for $25 and it's a deal you can't beat! They are quick and precise and I've never came home with a chip or smear on their end. read more

Very nice place, very clean. I went in around 10:45 on a Sunday morning For a regular manicure and was out by 11:30 without an appointment. The staff was friendly and polite and I would definitely come here again. However they are a bit pricier than most places ($12 for manicure and $25 for pedicure) and they did not do a very good job of cleaning around the nail. read more

Still coming here almost 5 years later...different girls, only one from when I first started coming, but still very friendly! My only gripe would be that the mani/pedis take a long time (only because they take care). If you have time to relax, I recommend this place. Now I only come when I have a lot of time or when I only need one thing done. Can't beat $25 for a gel mani! **Update: not sure about the 'cash only' review, but per my experience, they always take card (unless you have Discover). My experience here was great! I came with my mom and sister half an hour after closing time and they took us anyway for three pedicures. Very nice people, so friendly and helpful. They were very attentive - even though it was late they still gave us a complete and thorough pedicure - massage, scrub, and our toes look great. I really wanted to love this place, cause it ranks the highest in west Windsor area. But the lady who did my nails was pretty rude. She was impatient to any of my questions. I feel like she was rushing to get my nails finished as soon as possible so she could go on and get new business. And because of that, the gel on my nails is pretty bumpy and uneven. Consistent, friendly and reasonably priced. I've gotten a gel manicure from several different salons and the one from Christy's is the best. For $25 at Christy's I've gotten a meticulous and neat manicure that lasts longer than any other manicure (up to three weeks!). Other places I barely get 1.5 weeks. Highly recommend. read more

I just went to Christy's Nails for a fix. The place I used to go to put some gel on my nails that after a week, lifted and one broke just picking up keys. I am a little tired of finding a new place, liking it for a short while only to find that customer loyalty is disregarded. I am not saying they should drop what they are doing and cater to loyal clients, I'm merely saying, don't take up 3 hours of my time during the day to do a pedi and fill. And then charge me $80. So I decided to research who had the best reviews. On google and yelp alone, this place had NO bad reviews. I called to make sure there was no wait. I took my dinner break at work and a shot at a new shop. I was impressed. I was taken right away. I showed her the issue and she had me out of there in 1 hour. We spoke to each other, she was polite and informative on how the maintain my nails until my next visit. Granted, we had no choice but to cut them all down but she had my best interest in mind. She also went above and beyond to add a cute design as an additional courtesy. I will most definitely go there for maintenance. Well done ladies. read more

Good selection of shellac/gel but I wish they would paint out all of their colors on the fingernail wheels- they only do that with the gel colors. I have been going to Christy's for almost 2 years. I'm always on time and tip well. Let me tell you about my latest experience and how they treat someone who is a regular and has brought other clients to them. I made an appointment for a pedicure on Dec. 23. I was given a 4pm appointment with Kevin. I called concerned I would be late due to traffic. they told me to take my time. I got there at 4:05 and waited until 4:35 for my pedicure to begin because Kevin was busy with someone else until 4:35. This is an important part of the story. I got in the chair and he started on me about 4:45. He put the base coat on at 5:02, stood up and said "this needs to set about 5 minutes". A base coat? 5 minutes? since when? He then went over and started giving someone a gel manicure. He never looked back. The woman he was working on then started making cracks and looking at me about 'people that show up two days before Christmas without an appointment' - she was quite aware that he walked away from me in the middle of a pedicure. Was she referring to me?? At 5:15 I'm sitting in a chair with a base coat..that has now been drying for almost 15 minutes. Kevin never looked back. Finally someone else came over a slapped a coat of polish on my nails. It was 5:40. One hour and 40 minutes for a badly done pedicure. Kevin never looked up, never apologized for walking away in the middle of my pedicure. Never said a word. Totally disrespectful way to treat a client and speaks volumes about Kevin. The salon was nice but they did not have enough people working for a busy Saturday and I left very disappointed because they cut my nails to stubs when I asked for them to not cut them short. My toenails are all weird varied lengths and one is cut as short as it could ever go. My friends were happy with theirs but I will not be returning. read more

I was very disappointed in my gel manicure there. Some of the staff are very friendly while others are not so much. I had my old gel removed, but the manicurist never cleaned off my nails from residual gel before applying the new polish. When I asked about it, she ignored me. There was polish left on my skin all around my nails, although I was able to clean it up myself later on. I did choose a light pink color, but I was also disappointed that the color did not apply evenly. My gels usually last about 3 weeks. After only one week, this started lifting off. I don't think I'll be returning, unfortunately, because they are well-priced and conveniently located. read more

I'm really surprised to see so many reviews mentioning how clean this place is. Ever since moving to this area (from northern NJ), I am mystified by how many salons don't practice basic cleanliness. This place might have been the worst I've experienced so far. I was there today for a pedicure and observed that the tools they used were unpackaged, simply sitting in a tray. The nail file was not only not a disposable one but was very overused. I was obviously much more concerned about the metal heel file, clippers, cuticle trimmers, and other tools that were clearly not sanitized. During the manicure, the tools were sitting in a cup and actually looked used/dirty. I was so grossed out the entire time. If I believed I'd get anything different at another salon in the area, I probably would have gotten up and left, but there was almost no point. The technician did a great job and the prices were reasonable, which is the only reason for the 2 stars. I really wish the state would crack down on these places. read more
