She's the owner of Chroma Station and does an amazing job. The salon itself is very tasteful, with lots of natural light and SUPER clean. If cleanliness is on your radar, this is the place to come to. She's very flexible with what your needs are and very talented and experienced with hair. In addition, her prices are very competitive and she makes sure to price the haircuts by the effort that goes in. You can also make online appointments which has real-time activity slots so you never have to text or call but you can just make an online appointment. Before that, I'd looked all over Atlanta, from Buckhead to Midtown to Atlantic Station to Brookhaven for a good hairdresser but found service too spotty or inconsistent haircuts or providers increasing prices after a couple of month. read more

I wanted to update my review on Chroma Station, as I recently saw a one star review that is complete bogus and I believe it's a personal attack on the owner. I also have curly hair, like the one star reviewer, and have had nothing short of a miracle experience when Heidi cuts it. SHE is the expert and knows how to wash, cut, and style the type of hair you're genetically blessed with. It should be common since to understand that if you are a brunette and want a platinum ice color, or have a certain texture and want the opposite, you are setting unrealistic expectations for YOURSELF and doesn't reflect the stylist's abilities at all. Every single time I go to Chroma Station I am so grateful for the quality of the haircut and Heidi's kindness. I've also found that individuals who complain about petty details that aren't factual typically have something going on deeper within themselves and need to take their negativity elsewhere. read more

Finally reviewing Heidi after seeing a professional victim's pathetic attempt to slag off her skills. Clearly if 28 out of 30 of this creatures reviews are 'one star', she's impossible to please. They are absolutely hilarious delusions of grandeur tales if you need a giggle. But I digress... Heidi is the whip at curly hair, amongst many of her talents. She is highly educated and constantly grows her skill set with continued education. I am impressed with her abilities as a colorist and trust her completely with my hair. As a professional, we are our own hardest clients. Heidi gives thoughtful consideration to each session and always has given me exceptional results. Although the hairdresser, Kacie, was a bit behind when I arrived, she quickly apologized and got me a glass of wine. A+ Kacie listened to me chat about what I wanted, and gave me suggestions when I asked. She was very knowledgeable and did not hesitate to include the other hairdresser in the conversation when she was asked something she wanted more input on. The studio is intimate and adorable. Their products are great and I love that they're switching to Davines soon as well. My cut is perfect. Simple and easy- just what I asked for. Hello! Just to clear something - In response to the statement about me asking you to use nails during my hair wash - that is absolutely not true! As I mentioned in my review, you were not touching my scalp AT ALL, not sure how one can shampoo in such a manner. So what I asked you to do was to simply "get closer to the scalp", so you could actually shampoo my hair. Nothing more. LOVE this salon! Recently nominated for BuckHaven's 2017 best salon! Heidi does my cold fusion extensions and most people don't even know it isn't my natural hair! She customized them so I could have the ombré hair of my dreams! They have awesome music, awesome decor, and the most positive energy when you walk through the door! The wine always helps too! Kacey is the newest member and I LOVE when she washes, blows out, and curls my hair! Flawless! Katie cuts my fiancés hair and is the only person he will see! She does the best job every time!!! I take my Uncle, who has Down syndrome, to see Heidi. He talks about her constantly and refuses to let anyone take him anywhere else!
