Chrome is absolutely delicious! I have been multiple times and the quality of the drinks are great consistently. The matcha is rich and the banana flavor is delicious (not artificial tasting). Service is always very quick. The inside has aesthetic decor and lots of seating, but the line is often way too long to even use the seating. For example, there are a row of chairs by the window looking out to the street. However, when the line is long (always), the line takes up walkway space so you wouldn't be able to pull out a chair and sit there comfortably without having someone right behind you. Having a huge line is a great problem to have and I don't fault Chrome for it, but it would be nice to take advantage of the seating and enjoy the drinks inside. read more

If there was a rating for ultra omega mid or average, this place would almost get it. Standard matcha overpriced for its hype. Coffee was also very mid. The outsourced pastries aren't bad. I literally cannot stop thinking about the Coconut Matcha. It might possibly be the best drink that I have ever had in my life. Coconut Matcha - I did some research and it's often called Coconut Cloud Matcha. It is coconut water with matcha cream. At first, I didn't think I'd like it as much as a regular matcha, but I am so glad I got it. I got it with 1/2 agave instead of full, and I could have went without any agave because of the natural sweetness of the coconut water and the sweetness of the matcha cream. Mixed together, it was the perfect balance of coconut and matcha. It was creamy and refreshing. HIGHLY recommend. Probably one of the best things I have had in a very long time. read more

First impression, very sleek inside but seating could be better. The line wraps around the tables and register service needs some work. It took 25 min to get to the front, so sense of urgency at the till is needed. I did get my drink very quickly. I've only tried 2 drinks here but both were very good. One was the banana matcha. It's sweeter than what I prefer but the taste was worth it. The other was the banana chrome latte. (Yes I like all things banana.) I ordered it without the simple syrup and it was still delicious. The banana gives just enough sweetness for my liking. Chrome is not a very big coffee spot, but there are a few tables to sit at. I was lucky enough to catch a short line this time around, but typically the line is out the door, especially during peak times. Chrome gets pretty packed on the weekends, so I didn't get to try until a recent weekday. I usually turn the other way when I see a long line, but other reviews say they're pretty quick.. There's a huge communal table in the center of the store making it a good spot to set up camp. Music gets a little loud, but that comes with the territory of working at a cafe. Not a big place there is some seating along the window side and a large table and some bench seating along the wall. This place does get busy but the service is pretty quick. This place is always crowded! They seem to specialize in the recently popular thick cold creams so most of their signature drinks are recommended cold. They can do it in hot regardless but when you ask for it hot there is this awkward pause and they try to explain that it's meant for cold but they can still do it... and it kinda lingers afterwards lol I got the drink cold and it probably is better that way . The thick house cream makes your coffee smooth. I love this new trend because it's my kind of coffee. I also like to wait for the ice to melt so the foam dissolves more. I came to check out this place in an attempt to find a great place for a good cup of latte and a possible place to meet clients. Parking is awful in this strip mall. There is a security guard in the parking lot that saves spots for bank clients, good for him. However, for the rest of us, it's every man/woman for him/herself. The door as you enter can get blocked as the register is to the right as you enter. The interior is small-ish with plenty of places to sit if you can find a spot. It was a little noisy inside as well. I asked for recommendations as a first timer, the guy at the register seemed disinterested in providing any sort of recommendation. So, I ordered the Hojicha cream top. I didn't realize it was a cold drink. It was okay. With so many new coffee shops popping up around the South Bay, I probably won't be back. I love the chrome matcha here (matcha latte with matcha cream top). It's perfect with no adjustments needed. Plenty of matcha cream (I hate when places skimp), strong matcha flavor, thick and creamy, and perfectly sweetened. The guy regulating flow was also nice about answering menu questions and had recommendations, the cashier for being super busy still was friendly and didn't make it feel rushed.
