Chrome Latte and Banana Cream Matcha Latte
    Arturo P.

This place was amazing albeit a bit busy and rightfully so! We had to wait in a longish line, but not line outside the door long! It was pretty lively inside and they had a speaker playing some music. The staff were nice and welcoming and even gave us their recommendations! They got our drinks out quick and they were so good! It can get quite crowded inside because of the line, so my boyfriend and I took a seat outside! Definitely more of a grab and go spot instead of being someplace you can chill and hangout for a while!

We came on a Monday afternoon so there wasn't any line. The staff were super friendly and the drinks came out quickly Honestly the best coconut matcha I've had! It was the perfect sweetness since the coconut water itself was sweet. The matcha from this place is super creamy and silky. I'm more of a fan of sweet matcha and their drinks are the perfect sweetness. The banana matcha and ube matcha were also very yummy! I felt like the ube was lacking a bit of the ube flavor but it was still good. The inside is super aesthetic and clean with enough place for seating. Super cute place to stop by!

Chrome coffee is a stand alone brick and morter within a shopping center in Torrance. Nice and modern and absolutely loved the concept of having a refreshing coconut matcha, which I absolutely loved. Only reason why I knocked off a star because it was overly crowded with little seating and there was a good amount of staff behind the counter, but it took some time for the staff to recognize that I needed something. Customer service wasn't as up to par as many other coffee shops, but overall, the drink itself is what really stood out for me. Perhaps it was just a one, off day, but still decent enough for me to go back on a not so busy day.

Super crowded coffee shop that I finally have a chance to try. Now I understand why they are so crowded, their drinks are super good. I had: 1. Ube cream top matcha 2. Ube cream top latte 3. Peach tea refresher 4. Coconut matcha 5. Chrome latte

I love the interior of this place; there is a ton of natural lighting, a variety of seats, and tasteful, simple decor. It seems to be great for studying or hanging out! We were helped kindly and quickly, and our drinks came out fast. We got the chrome matcha and latte. I think both are a little light in strength, but were perfect as I was looking for something lighter. If you like super strong lattes / matchas, maybe save this spot for another day.

This place has been on my list and I'm so glad I finally got around to trying it! Chrome coffee has a variety of matcha and coffee selections (as well as hojicha) and I was super excited to try their drinks. My friend got the banana matcha and that was delicious! The matcha flavor was great and the banana cream paired well with the drink. I got the hojicha cream latte and that was yummy as well. I would come back again and get the banana matcha next time!

Heard of this spot from a friend, and enjoyed the drinks. Ordered the Chrome matcha and Banana matcha. The banana matcha overpowered the matcha flavor, so would prefer the chrome matcha. The interior of the cafe is not too large or small, definitely a good amount of space to stop by or even study at.

Kept seeing this place all over my Instagram stories with high reviews from my friends. Every time I drove by, the line seemed long so I was hesitant to stop. I finally did, and I'm so glad! The line looks long and wrap along the length of the store usually, but it moves fast. The shop has many workers who are constantly moving so they're able to push out drinks quickly. I got their banana matcha and yummmm it was perfectly flavored with the ratio of banana to matcha. It wasn't too sweet either which is usually a concern of mine. Next to the cashier is a pastry display and I got a croissant which tasted fresh and flakey. It's located in small plaza so parking isnt an issue. Definitely will be back! Hoping they implement an online order service to facilitate pick up orders :)

First off the parking situation isn't easy however, the coffee drink I had was worth the struggle. It was clean the staff were so friendly and helpful and the pastries were delicious. I had the cookie butter cold brew with Biscoff crumble on top and I think a vanilla foam. It was a little sweet, not too sweet but just right, you could taste all the flavors and the coffee itself. This one was dangerously good and I'll be back to try other ones. I also got the almond croissant and it was big and flaky & soft it tasted fresh and so GOOD. Again I'll be back to try other ones.

Anybody that knows me knows that I take hours to finish any of my drinks. I don't think I have ever drank something as fast as the Coconut Matcha that I downed within minutes. It was DELICIOUS! Chrome had a really long line, and from what I heard from the workers, the line is always like that. But, we got our drinks within 5 minutes despite the volume of drink orders they had!

They provided great service. There was a quick turn around from the time I ordered to the time I relieved my two drinks. Seeing a rotating door of patrons says a lot about a business. The Banana Cream Matcha was great. Still not a 100% converted to ordering matcha, but I would 100% order this drink again.

Visited here since it was close by the Del Amo mall and wow this cafe is packeddd. Is there no other specialty coffee shop around here? lol. There were still a good amount of parking spots available, but the line to order wraps inward like a snake. Luckily the line moves at a steady pace and I got my drink a lot quicker than expected. I ordered the chrome latte and my bf got the americano. Americano was pretty standard, but the chrome latte was pretty nice! The drink overall was a bit more sweet, so I wish it had a stronger coffee profile to it. Although, the drink overall was still pretty good! Love the vibe of the cafe, although, it was really packed so you can't really enjoy the cafe atmosphere as much lol.

I absolutely love chrome coffee studio! My go to is their signature chrome latte and Biscoff latte! Banana cream matcha is amazing too! The energy, service and vibe there is on point! My daughter also loves their strawberry milk! What I love the most is their consistency! The drinks always taste the same because they take their time to measure everything out which is a major plus!

I think the tea flavor could have been stronger, but the texture of the boba was good. I did think it was a bit odd that my iced drink was served in a paper cup while my friend got the usual plastic cup. The croissant was delicious. It had a nice guava filling, but the cream cheese was thinner, more like a condensed milk consistency. Still very good, just different from what I was expecting. My friend got the iced cheese coffee with biscoff, which was pretty strong and tasty. The restroom was not terrible, but could have been cleaner.

You can tell they put a lot of effort into their food and drinks. As for the ambiance, it's perfect for those who want to hang out and catch up with friends/family or to study. When I visited, there were easily 5 other groups and individuals studying here. I have a big soft spot for banana flavored items. A BIG SOFT SPOT. Banana Cream Pie Latte - this one carries the biggest punch for banana lovers. Banana cream the entire way from start to finish. Not too sweet. Awesome foam top too. I highly recommend drinking these without the straw. Foam top drinks are best appreciated when you get a nice 50:50 ratio of the foam and drink. Banana Matcha Latte - the name speaks for itself. It's a nice mixture of both. So if you're looking to feel a little healthier with the matcha element, then go for it. This was probably the prettiest drink of the 3 that we had. Americano - delicious and got the job done here. I naturally enjoy Ethiopian and Colombian beans. I brew them often at home. I was definitely wide awake after these drinks lol Strawberrynana Waffle - If you LOVE belgian-style waffles like me, then you'll find yourself ordering this again and again. It wasn't too sweet but sweet enough to easily go through 2 or 3 of these plates if you're crazy enough. Banana Walnut Honey Bread - the best for last! I really loved eating brick toast growing up. There were so many stores back in the day that sold them, and now I can't find them as easily. In fact, Caffe Bene is the only place in the South Bay that I know that sells them. This one brought me back to the past and put a gigantic smile on my face. Delicious, perfectly sweet, balanced, and finished wanting more. Highly recommend!

Great Demand, But Poor Convenience for Working Customers…read more I've had The Nook's mushroom coffee before. My best friend took me here on a weekend afternoon, and even then there was a line, although it was manageable and mostly stayed inside the shop. Because of that experience, I knew The Nook was popular, but I wasn't prepared for what I encountered on a weekday morning. I wanted to pick up a coffee before work, so I actually planned ahead. Before leaving home, I checked the mobile website expecting that, given the obvious demand, there might be an order-ahead option. Unfortunately, there isn't one. So I gave myself an additional 30 minutes specifically for parking, waiting in line, ordering, and waiting for the drink to be prepared. I figured that should be more than enough for a morning coffee pickup. I arrived around 7:30 AM, and as I walked toward The Nook from the south side of The Enclave, I could already see the line stretching out of the door and into the courtyard. I was honestly shocked. There were easily 15-20 people ahead of me. I decided to give it a fair chance and got in line. After 10 minutes, the line had barely moved. At that point, I walked out. I understand that popular businesses get busy, especially in the morning. But there is a difference between being busy and having a customer wait in a line of 15-20 people with virtually no movement at 7:30 AM, particularly when there is no mobile ordering or order-ahead option. For a coffee shop with this level of demand, I find the lack of an ordering system especially frustrating. If you're going to consistently have lines extending outside the business during the morning rush, there should be some way for customers who are trying to grab a drink on their way to work to order ahead. And that's really my issue: the customer experience doesn't seem designed for people who need coffee efficiently. If you're coming here on a weekend, have nowhere to be, or are willing to dedicate an unpredictable amount of time to waiting, you may have a completely different experience. But if you're trying to get coffee before work, I would strongly recommend accounting for significantly more time than you think you'll need -- or having a backup plan. I no longer work as close to The Nook, and I don't drink coffee after noon, so I don't have much reason to make a special trip. Unless I'm conveniently nearby and see little to no line, I won't be making another attempt anytime soon. The Nook clearly has a loyal following, but popularity shouldn't come at the expense of basic convenience. If the demand is consistently this high, the ordering process needs to catch up with it.
