Let me start by stating I ordered from their app. I have problems in the past with food delivery from them and the tacos arriving cold. It was a very cold night so to avoid past problems I ordered in store pick up. Also I gave a decent tip to ensure my order would be correct. Yet, they left the first item on the receipt out of the bag, and knew they did without saying anything to me when I picked my order up. I arrived just as the order was completed and packaged and stapled shut. Once I got home we realized that the street corn that was paid for was missing. After several attempts in calling the store someone finally answered. I explained the issue and he told me they no longer carry street corn and would have to return that night for the refund. I told him it was too cold to return that night and I would stop by the next day. He responded saying they might not understand the situation the next day. I told him if they no longer carry street corn and I have the receipt showing I was charged for it, they should understand. I went back the next day and was told the manager wasn't in and to call the following day. I called several times over several days and NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE. I finally gave up. My time is worth more than $5.00. And, oh by the way, the tacos were cold. read more

Bad service and the lady was rude and we did the free large soda for checking in and she gave a small. Shrimp tacos were good, potato tacos weren't cooked all the way. Both tacos were really soggy. A lot of unavailable drinks on the soda machine. read more

The staff was nice but the food was awful. Tomato concoction was close to rotten. I got a burrito and the tortilla was horrible. I got tacos for my husband and he said they were awful. We ended up giving most of the order to our dogs. Even they turned up their noses and walked away. Food quality is awful. read more

Went to chipotle to find the longest line in the history of fast food, so we drove to chronic in Valencia. The line was short so we went there. Ordered the Cali burrito which was really good. I think the $10+ Dollar price is a little high but it was good. The guy even added beans and rice upon my request. Doesn't really come with it. They have the higher end soda machines with the 1000 choices and the even added a second machine for efficiency. Very flexible people. Nice building. No up selling that we experienced. I just got my food from Chronic Tacos and my order was completely wrong. The kind of meat on my chronic fries was wrong, neither one of my sodas was added, the extra sauces I ordered were not in my bag. I called their number over 9 times to let them know that I want my money back and they can't seem to be able to pick up their phone. Poor customer service, incorrect order and poor quality of food. It's okay for lunch I suppose. The place is clean and the service is good. All I can say is that I'm not impressed. The pictures on line gave me higher expectations. All of these restaurants closed in the valley a few years ago and now they are back. The new location is a little more upscale than the last one and the layout and quality of food are much improved over the old location. They have good burritos if you want something a little different from Chipotle. The Baja sauce and fish are both good but they do have to cook the fish so it takes a little longer if you order it read more

Called on 12/20/2018 at around 1pm to ask a few questions about their catering pricing for a small upcoming family get together. The woman that answered placed me on hold, I said no problem. I could hear her finishing up a transaction with a customer. Totally fine. After about 2 minutes, I no longer heard conversations with customers about their orders, I only heard banter between employees. They weren't busy with customers any more, the place was either dead or the people that were there had all been taken care of. So after 15 minutes of hearing co-workers b.s. with each other, I hung up the phone. I'm sure no one will care because that's the way things are now with businesses. So I'm glad chronic taco is doing so well that they don't need my business. Won't be eating here again or using any of their services for any future events. read more

Outstanding fresh delicious food, with great customer care/service. The Food (entire Menu) is far superior in Quality of ingredients, right down to homeade Guacamole. Far superior and wonderful dining experience, than any other Franchise or Mexican Restaurants; at a much cheaper cost, very affordable. We quit eating at other MX Restaurants, upon discovering Chronic Tacos, better by far than Chipotle, Rubios, Baja Fresh, El Toreo, Golden Cantina, et al. Terrible service. Ordered a large order and was given not enough salsa. Staff was not helpful and the attitude was not friendly. I am not sure I want to comeback here. Worst $39.0 I ever spent. This is by far the best Mexican fast food, good prices and high quality food! The staff is friendly and offer testers if your unsure about what you want. They also have potato tacos which my husband LOVES! Oh and by far the BeST ghost pepper sauce. My favorite thing to order is the shredded meat tacos with the works on it +horchata! Had 1 burrito brought to me yesterday back to Bishop Ca, 4 hours old and it still was the best cantina burrito I ever had, no lie it looked like a 25 lb Dumbbell it was so massive and the carnitas was dripping out of the edge but the burrito was not soggy, cabbage added a crunch and the saltiness was perfect I have been to Nadia Cakes next door 6+ times in last few years and always figured you guys were a BUST and long behold the KING OF CANTINA wow. I will bring my friends next time for proof and take pics, also please offer Cotija cheese and crema and you will be #1 in USA I'm serious because then I will never need to walk into a Chipotle or Qdoba ever again read more

I had a carne asada burrito it made me sick I threw up and had diarrhea yea it probably be a wow before I go back

I asked for two burritos. A carne Asada with refried beans and a carnita with black beans. The carnita had a giant chunk of fat thrown in there, about the size of two thumbs. The asada had whole beans, giant chunks of onion, a little smaller than a quarter and a little bigger than a nickel leaving a nasty after taste. The meat was cut into large chunks good enough for soup or stew. We use to go to the one in Lancaster and decided to try the one in Palmdale for the first time since they closed it down. Super Good! Super fresh food! And now they offer three kinds of rice Spanish, white and brown (my favorite) rice. If you have a couple of minutes try the breakfast burrito. They will make it from scratch just for you! (One caution, some people think the chicken and the beef are kind of salty. For me it's about right) Most tacos are $1 off for Taco Tuesday. I really like this place generally, but I am very disappointed that I could not have a corn Quesadilla. Why? maybe I don't like flour or am allergic to flour. How hard would it have been to accommodate me with that? I think Chronic Tacos needs to be a little more considerate towards the needs of the customer and maybe think outside the box a bit. I asked for a simple bean and cheese burrito at the beginning of the line, and what I got is one scoop of refried bean, some cheese and some chopped onions. Honestly, if the server doesn't know how to make a bean and cheese burrito you should have asked! On top of that it costed $7.12 not including tip! Love their shrimp tacos. Friendly atmosphere. It was around closing time when we came in and they did not rush us out.

I was pretty excited to try this place. Upon entry, there's a decent little flow menu that allows you to pick your protein and pick your style (Taco, Burrito or Bowl). I thought this concept was similar to Chipotle, but with a couple more options. I ordered the Chicken burrito, but didn't want the added carbs of beans and rice. I also didn't want cheese, but they wouldn't let me substitute guacamole in its place without an up-charge. I think allowing a patron to substitute one ingredient over the other is reasonable, especially when they're the same up-charge price. Some people might disagree with my position on this, but once you see the price you're paying here for the actual quantity/quality of the product, I think you'll concur. The chicken (even with an up-charge for extra meat) was severely under-portioned, and under-seasoned. $10+ for a chicken burrito with added guacamole (that's possibly not made in house) is a bit over-priced. Overall, the flavors and quantity for the price doesn't even compete with Chipotle. I'm not a lover of Chipotle, but at least their ingredients are better in comparison. You're better off going to a nearby taqueria. Separate from the food, the server was very friendly. read more

Drove across town to have dinner at this location. I arrived at about 8:10pm and they told me they were closed. I checked google and it says they close at 10pm. The people working were very rude and were giving me that "Ugh go away" face. If you're closing early maybe turn off the open sign and lock the doors. And maybe have some of your employees smoke some chronic so they're not in such a bad mood. read more

My coworker and I drove from Lancaster to come to this place. I ordered chicken burrito fajita and the worker got me confused and made a weird face which was really uncomfortable and embarrassing to me... 2nd story: my coworker ordered tacos and asked all the ingredients to be on the side. The worker poured full beans and rice in a small containers. We were about to pay and next thing we noticed the cashier asked the worker to take her tray back and scoop off from rice and the beans since they were fully filled. We felt embarrassed in front of other people in the line. This was the worst customer service I've ever seen.. it's a shame for an extra spoon of rice and beans to lose customers. I would recommend to train your workers somewhere else and not in front of customers to make everyone uncomfortable and embarrassed. We not going back there so the entire work place. read more
