Found this gem in the SFV in a shopping center in Encino. So pleasantly surprised when we got here. Had some delicious cocktails and appetizers for a girls night out. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu. We had the shrimp and beef short rib tacos (comes with 3), filet sliders normally comes with 2 but we added one more, cheesy dream rolls (Mac and cheese egg roll), brussel sprouts. Loved the ambiance, very spacious and very friendly and prompt service. We met the owner too. Would be a great place for a large party. Told us about another location that they are opening up in Glendale. It's located on Ventura blvd so it's always a plus when there's a parking garage although it does cost $6. There was street metered parking as well.

Good selection of small eats in a cozy yet elegant atmosphere. Parking is a bit of a pain with either street or the parking garage thats paid. Service can be a bit slow. But its a relaxed environment and thats how it should be approached. The food could be a little bit more seasoned for me personally. Great hummus but needs more chips thats not an add on. But good flavors overall.

Pialon is a fantastic new spot in Encino! We shared several tapas and loved everything we tried like the hummus, Brussels sprouts, and chicken skewers were all delicious. The cocktails were amazing, especially the gin drinks, and the desserts were a perfect ending. The tiramisu was incredible and the warm churros were so good. Great food, beautiful atmosphere, and excellent service. Can't wait to come back!

Food, location, ambiance and service is top notch! highly recommended when you're in the valley no less. basement parking is very convenient. Must haves are green gold humus, green with the enemy, hot chicks, shirt and saucy tacos and golden flame skewers.

Amazing food at amazing prices! Beautiful ambiance and super friendly people. And the drinks were so delicious. We came Friday and Monday! And we're bringing our friends and family. What a hidden gem in Encino!

The ambiance was so lovely and the service was excellent. We had our waiter recommended some of the best items on the menu, and he brought us the pistachio hummus, the filet mignon skewers, the mushroom flatbread, and the fish tacos. The pistachio hummus was very unique and was tasty, but overall was missing just a bit of flavor. The mushroom flatbread was more of a really thin and crispy pizza, which we actually appreciated much more. It was super light and really delicious. All of the flavors just went so well together. The fish tacos were incredible and had the most delicious batter on the fish. It was super fresh and flavorful, and the fish was so crispy. I would order this again every time. The filet skewers were probably the biggest surprise and the best bite of the night. The meat was so tender and so incredibly flavorful. The rice was also so delicious and fluffy. We debated ordering a second one but wanted to save room for dessert. Definitely another dish I'll be getting again each time I'm here. For dessert we ordered the pistachio cake, which was really good and not too sweet, and some cappuccinos. Overall, this is a really great new restaurant tucked into a quiet little spot off of Ventura blvd. It's a perfect place for a date night, celebration, or a girl's night out. I'll definitely be back.

Location 5: On Ventura Blvd in Encino, California. Convenient street parking (metered until 8 PM) as well as a parking structure directly under the restaurant complex. Pialon is located at the end of the walkway as you enter from the street. You will not miss the light-up arch. Venue 5: Beautifully decorated, trendy yet comfy venue, with patio, indoor and bar seating. A nice "speakeasy" vibe where you can relax with friends and family and enjoy some good music, creative signature cocktails and delicious tapas. They do take reservations on Open Table and on Yelp. You can also use the Yelp Waitlist if you have not planned ahead. Service 5: Impeccable. Friendly, polite and attentive. Our water glasses stayed full the entire time, and the food and drinks kept coming. A shout out to our wonderful server Nima and the restaurant manager Michael, who checked up on us regularly to ensure that we had the best possible experience! Drinks 5: Full bar. Creative and tasty signature cocktails, beer, wine, coffee and soft drinks. We had the Espresso Martini and the Saffron Pomegranate Margarita and highly recommend both. Food 5: Wonderful modern Mediterranean small plates with creative names! We had the Bone to be Wild (Bone Marrow), Mama Mia Meatballs, Sprout About It (Brussels Sprouts), Short and Saucy Tacos (Braised Short Ribs), Piggy Back Sliders (Pulled Pork), Boss Beef Sliders (Filet Mignon) and the Margherita Flatbread. All were delicious and well-plated and we would order them again without hesitation! The dessert list looked great also but unfortunately we were too full. We will make sure to leave room for dessert the next time! The Last word 5: A wonderful place to have a nice time, chillin' with friends and family. Can't wait to go back. Very highly recommended!

Lovely little tapas and small bites spot in Encino. Really chill atmosphere and great service. Very tasty food. Easy to spend too much if you don't watch it! Garage parking for six dollars. We tried five small bites, a cocktail, and a dessert. We spent $145. I would come back and tailor my order and try four different small bites to bring the cost down. Best thing about it was the ambience and the fantastic service and the enjoyment of tasting many different things.

    Crystal G.

I tried the mac n cheese rolls and the truffle fries. I also ordered a few mojitos (I forgot what flavor they were but I liked them)! Everything was great and the service was excellent! My friend & I went for happy hour and we were very well taken care of. This is such a cute place and I'd love to come back when it's warmer outside and sit on the patio. Indoors look chic and nice for a date night or girl's dinner like I had. I'd love to try more of the food, as well.

    Brussels sprouts, delicious!

What a fantastic find! We recently visited Pialon and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and beautifully designed, making it the perfect place to relax with friends and enjoy great food and drinks. We ordered the hummus, Brussels sprouts, and filet mignon sliders, and every dish was outstanding. The hummus was fresh and flavorful, the Brussels sprouts were perfectly prepared, and the filet mignon sliders were absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The tapas-style menu makes it easy to share and try a variety of dishes. The cocktails were excellent and paired perfectly with the meal. What truly made the evening special, though, was the hospitality. The owners were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about creating a great experience for their guests. Piallon has quickly become one of our favorite new restaurants. Great food, delicious drinks, wonderful ambiance, and exceptional service. We can't wait to come back!

I've had oyster shooters before and loved them but didn't like their take on it here. Way too much horseradish and the vodka portion was way off (too little vodka) and unbalanced. Oysters Rockefeller - 4 1/2 stars. Quite meaty and delicious, such a great flavor and take on this classic dish. Crab Cake - 4 stars. Quite the large portion, and quite good! No notes! The meat was soft, tender, and rich and flavor and the potatoes were also excellent. Our waitress (who was fabulous) brought out an ice cream Sunday to celebrate the birthday occasion and I have to say it was also fabulous! It was an old school brownie sunday with gobs of delicious hot fudge and sprinkles and an item I would definitely order upon my next visit. I didn't realize they had a complimentary parking lot in the back, that's a huge bonus. Would definitely come back here for a special occasion, this spot is solid!

The famed lobster appetizer was not for us. Bits of lobster floating in a lot of butter didn't excite us. Excellent salads. The other appetizers however, were excellent. We've been twice now had had a lot of their menu. The pork was outstanding. The rack was very good, but I've had even better racks elsewhere. The "famous" banana cream pie was good, not great, but so huge and rich it must be shared. At $30, it's maybe also a tad overpriced. The bar makes a healthy-sized martini that's worth its high-end price tag. Great wine list with wonderful advice and good-sized sample pours, even though I only drink one glass and my husband doesn't drink at all. This is a good place to splurge on a good wine. I've mentioned the above-par service. Informative and cheery, without trying to become your best friend. They went out of their way to assure us a table in a very quiet spot, due to my deafness. Very attentive without being overbearing. Their suggestions seem honest, rather than just trying to upsell everything. The place is huge and gorgeous. Flatteringly, if dimly, lit, it lends itself to romantic dinners and anniversaries. In our case, we like to have a rather luxurious and romantic and lengthy meal perhaps once a month, and feel very fortunate to be able to do so. It's divided into several smallish areas and the effect is rather cozy and intimate. It's chic and stylish, so PLEASE folks, dress for it? It especially saddens me to see a nicely dressed young woman, who obviously spent some time on herself beforehand, with a guy ( I'll guess her husband ), in shorts and a tee shirt. I say, for a place like this, where you could easily spend four bills on a good meal for two, with drinks, management, bring back a dress policy! And enforce it with a reminder email they you do so. Is a collared shirt and a pressed pair of khakis too much to ask for?

My husband and I stopped in on a Sunday for a quick drink before a movie, and the "vibe" was non-existent. They have four TVs at the bar, but the setup was bizarre, two were completely off and another was just frozen on a directory logo. The biggest issue, however, is the cleanliness--or lack thereof. The place is incredibly dirty. It feels like it hasn't had a deep clean in weeks, maybe longer. The bar top was disgusting, the floors were grimy, and even the woodwork looked like it hadn't seen a rag since opening day. They are charging $17 for "signature cocktails," which is bold for a spot that feels like a neglected dive bar. If you're going to charge premium prices, you have to at least wipe down the countertops. Service-wise, the bartender was friendly enough but low energy and minimal level of service. To make matters worse, a shift change happened while we were there, and the departing bartender made us close out our check and start a brand-new one with the next person. Why should the staff's administrative hand-off be the customer's issue? It's just unprofessional. The Valley has so many actual dive bars with character and plenty of high-end spots for a great cocktail; I'm not sure where this place is trying to fit in. It feels like someone bought it and just stopped caring. We won't be back.
