My friend and I came here for a late lunch. I fell in love with the beautiful decor, as well as the warm and cozy ambiance. On the wall, there is lit up green script, featuring the words: Dinner is better when we eat together! There was lush greenery, blooming flower lights, white flowers and elegant drapery overhead. I had the Thai Iced Coffee, which was smooth, creamy, and strong. For my entree, I ordered the Crispy Duck with flat noodles. The Duck skin was satisfyingly crispy, well seasoned, while the meat was tender and juicy. Flat noodles were perfectly cooked, packing plenty of flavor. Service was lovely. Our waiter was welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. I would return to try the Pork Chops with coconut sticky rice.

Really good, classic Thai. What really impressed me were the cocktails!! Definitely worth a try when you dine in

Sweet Coconut Sticky Rice - terribly dry. No coconut sauce which would have made it much better

First Impressions: not applicable, I ordered delivery The Noms: Coconut Sticky Rice - I ordered this assuming it would be like the sticky rice that accompanies mango sticky rice... but it was sooo dry. I don't know if they forgot the coconut sauce that usually comes with it... but do not order, get the mango sticky rice (I would have done this but it's not in season and not available in January) or the lychee sticky rice Coconut pudding - delicious... sweet but not too sweet, creamy and deeply coconut. 10/10 would order again Drunken Noodles: forgot to take a picture because I was so hungry I scarfed it down... very good, not as greasy as some other Thai places. Perfect amount of spice level and the chicken was generous. The portions were huge and I had enough left over for dinner later In Conclusion: 10/10 would recommend and likely will order again. If I had ordered the coconut sticky rice in house, I would have asked for a side of the coconut sauce... that would have made it perfect... or at least not as dry. That's why I still give it 5 stars... I'm going to assume they forgot the sauce and try it again

Great spot for lunch with excellent specials and solid service. I had the pad see ew with beef, which was flavorful and perfectly cooked, paired with their Thai salad topped with a delicious, creamy peanut sauce. Their chicken noodle soup is flavorful, aromatic and soothing. To finish, the lychee coconut sticky rice was outstanding and the perfect sweet ending. Overall, a great place with good food, fair prices, and friendly service.

Located next to pizza store. Ordered the Green Thai Curry (Chicken) and Tum Yum Fried Rice (Chicken). I preferred the Green Thai Curry (Chicken) more smooth and less salty to me. Not crowded we were seated quickly and food arrived quick as well. The ambiance was charming.

Three or four stars. The lunch special is decent. I got pad thai with chicken and Thai salad for $13.95. The pad thai portion is on the smaller side. The salad was standard. There is a lot of sauce on the pad thai. I actually wished they put less sauce, so the dish wouldn't be so heavy. I think this dish was a 3 star. The soft shell crab, not on the lunch special, was delicious. It had real crab mixed in with the curry and egg sauce. It definitely has a good kick to it as well. We opted to pay the extra $2 for coconut rice and it was totally worth it. It was a nice contrast between sweet rice and spicy crab. This was definitely a 4 or 5 star dish. Again the dish was very rich. Personally I think sharing this and one more item with another person is the way to go. There is not much seating but usually there is no wait.

Aesthetic and cozy Thai place! Their cocktails look fun and beautiful. They have zodiac based drinks AND happy hour is all day? Sign me up. I was ordering take out so in the meantime, this is my experience: Food: It was 2 pm so we went with the lunch special that comes with a main and an appetizer ($14!!). I ordered the basil fried rice with chicken (medium spice, which was perfection of a good kick) + spring roll. My husband had the pad see ew with beef + gyoza. He said the beef had a nice charred taste, which was a big plus. It was the just right portion for me, a bit smaller for him. Ambiance: While not big, they do have about 9 tables and 2-3 outdoor tables, which are great for a nice day out. Service: Kind staff, we ordered right away. Food took about 20 minutes. All in all, I'm definitely coming back to dine in and try their cocktails and desserts.

We absolutely love Chu Ros Thai. The ambiance is great, the service is always attentive and friendly, and the location and music make it such a relaxing place to unwind. The drinks are amazing too, consistently well made. My girlfriend and I have been coming here almost every week, and it has quickly become one of our favorite spots. Everything we've tried has been excellent. The Tom Kha soup is rich and comforting, the steamed veggie dumplings are fresh and perfectly done, and the mango shrimp spicy salad was absolutely outstanding. This place never disappoints. Highly recommended for great food, great vibes, and a consistently wonderful experience.

Loved everything about this place! Our server, food and the ambiance! Came in and sat immediately. It feels like a little hiding fun spot for foodies like us! Saw some drinks off the menu that we saw in tiktok and the server said they can do it. The food was amazing, feels very similar to the ones we had when we went to Thailand years ago! The appetizer is great when you want to try everything, a little of everything basically. We each had entree and shared! Their crab meat pad thai is to die for! They gave a lot of meat and did not limit us to tiny pieces! (Crab meat is expensive!) and came our dessert! We gad two I forgot the other one but we ordered Mango sticky rice to try and it didn't disappoint! This place has a lot of potential and serves great authentic Thai Food! Will definitely be back!

Absolutely delicious and flavorful Thai food in UES. We walked from Central Park to this spot and sat outside on a nice fall day. The food was delicious and the service was very nice. The food came out quick too.

Came here for a weekday lunch before class with a classmate. The spot is super cute and the exterior is bright colorful and lively. Service was quick. We ordered crab Rangoon, vegan curry puff to start. These came out quickly and were piping hot. The crab Rangoons were my favorite and I appreciated the price point. For my main I had the Pad Kee Mao with chicken. Portion was well sized and I took nearly half of it to go. The spice level was perfect for me. I like the convenient location and will definitely be back to try some of the crab dishes mentioned by other Yelpers.

This Saturday i spent looking for brunch after a tragic ending of not being allowed to dine at a restaurant nearby... After a quick yelp search, and a rec my friend said she'd been here and the food was good. It wasn't too far from my original location. So we made the quick drive to this place. The restaurant was super cute. Very cozy inside. Had lots of Instagram/tik tok aesthetics. Cute flower wall, and flowers hanging from the ceiling. LED signs of cute phrases that all the girls love lol. They also have an indoor/outdoor vibe when the main window fully opens and disappears. It was perfect for the beautiful weather we had last weekend. The food was okay. I've never had udon noodles as the base for my drunken noodles, but it wasn't the worst. I do feel like the other noodles catches and holds the sauce a bit better, but all in all it wasn't bad. I ordered it with crispy chicken because they didn't have a pork option. The lemon drop martinis were on happy hour special for $10. I wanted a specialty tequila so with my Casamigos lemon drop it was $14. Not bad, it was strong too. The service could've been better. I feel like they were really understaffed. They had 1 bartender for 10 tables, and all the tables were filled. He was also taking orders for food also. Towards the end of our meal, we saw another person finally come out and help a bit. But by that time we were ready to go. So I'm giving the service a 3. He did pretty well to be working alone. That's all for now. See pics below.

The pad thai noodles are a big thinner than i've had before but that didn't bother me, it has such great flavor too. I recommend ordering it spicy, it's the perfect heat if you're looking for that kick but don't add it if you can't handle spice. The drunken noodles are not spicy in my opinion but i can handle a bit of heat. Loved the flavor and the noodles had the right texture, could've done without the huge chunks of tomato but great otherwise. The summer rolls were good, hard to mess those up. We also got a free mango salad with the order and that was so fresh and delicious. We just popped in for pick up but the hostess was really nice and attentive as soon as we walked in. It looked to be a nice casual spot, could be good for dinner with friends or date night.

Yes, we were seated at the communal table, which was off putting initially because we were looking for a more private experience and opportunity to catch up. However, we powered through and made the best of it. Service started off shaky and rushed initially, with incorrect drink orders presented. However once we all settled in things improved. The food was good and the atmosphere was lovely. A few entrée dishes were unavailable and required a little flexibility in the night's taste palate. Overall Thep was enjoyable and I would like to return now that I know what to expect. The service was pleasant, friendly, efficient and helpful from the minute we walked in without a reservation. The ambiance and decor was gorgeous and took me out of NYC for a moment. The phenomenal taste of the first sip of the Thai Iced Tea that paired so well with the rest of my meal is the reason behind the first picture I took. For the apps we ordered my favorite- Chicken Curry Puffs and Chicken Satay. The Chicken Curry Puffs were soft and perfectly mashy on the inside and had a perfect crisp to the layered outside. The Chicken Satay was so different here and yet so savory served with this soft garlic bread. The sauces were so fresh, vibrant and distinct and added to both the appetizers. The peanut sauce had crushed peanuts and was such an accompaniment to texture. For the mains, we had the Chicken Pad Thai and the Braised Beef Short Rib in Penang Curry. The Pad Thai was a great standard and tasty with the crisp sprouts and zesty lime. This Braised Beef Short Rib is where it is at! One of their house specialties- the decadent flavors and textures of this dish is something that will be memorable and just the right touch of spice. Lovely bright orange sweet potatoes and beautiful green beans went so well together with the beef and curry. Looking forward to trying more of their menu and not defaulting to my usual. Warmed up Chicken Pad Thai on the pan over the stove today in a little bit of butter, this was as delicious as it was going to get today. I missed one of the most exquisite Thai Iced Teas I've had in a while, it truly set the tone of how great this late lunch was.
