The place is so good! Their curries can all be made vegan if you opt for tofu, veggies or the mock duck. The curry is super flavorful and the service was great! Can't wait to go back again!

New Thai spot in Manhattan Valley with a walnutty interior, attentive service and good food. The pad see ew was tenderly cooked with a generous squid portion. The Thai iced tea was substantial.

I would come here every day! Any time we are on the upper west side we eat here for fresh Thai food and super kind wait staff. Small little space but pretty available during off times. Tried the massaman and veggie noodles both were excellent. Tried the pan fried veg dumplings so good crispy and hot. Tried a thai tea and taro milk both excellent. Taro milk taste just like nutty fruity cereal milk. Go here! The lunch specials are the best great price. About $80 for three entrees one app and two drinks.

Just tried this new Thai & Vietnamese spot and it was sooo good! The drunken noodles were -- super flavorful, perfectly cooked, and had just the right amount of spice. Not too oily, not too salty... just right. Really friendly service and a nice, chill vibe inside. Definitely coming back to try more dishes. Highly recommend!

This is a nice and lovely Thai restaurant. Good staff and great food! I ordered pad kra prow crispy pork and it was amazing! Crispy on the surface and chewy at inner part which is perfect!

The food was so yummy and they had so many options for someone that is a vegetarian! Everything was declined and tasted like classic Thai food, the service was great and I love the intimate vibe of the restaurant!

Already visited this place a few times, and I've always been impressed by both the food and the service. Drunken noodles are one of my favorites! I've ordered them with chicken, squid, and shrimp on different visits, and every time they've been delicious -- perfectly balanced with just the right kick of spice. I also tried some of their chef's specials that were recently added. The steak with their special sauce and the seafood tom yum ramen were both really good. I also loved their duck with curry! Highly recommend! Really glad to have a place like this nearby. The food is always solid and the service is warm and welcoming. It's become one of my go-to spots for a casual night out. Definitely coming back.

We got the pad see ew, pad thai, eggplant over rice, and 2 Thai iced teas. Portion wise - decent but the flavor could be better. The beef in the pad see ew could also be fresher - it was really hard to chew. Overall I think the quality could be improved.

Koo Thai/Vietnamese Restaurant is located on the corner of West 105 St. & Columbus Ave. Formerly 'Mekong'. Once again the ambiance is appealing with its brown tones & gold utensils. The staff is young but very accomadating. The dumplings & rolls are very good. The sándwich was a bit bulky but ok & as always, the iced milk teas are creamy & delicious. A nice, quiet place to go eat individualy or as a group.

The food here was really flavorful and the service was splendid! The portions were pretty big, and the food presentation was good as well. I would definitely come back again! Definitely one of the better Thai restaurants in the neighborhood.

Delicious and authentic Thai & Vietnamese food! The flavors are fresh and balanced, the restaurant is clean and cozy, and the staff are super friendly. Great value and highly recommended!

Overpriced and at least 2 items were incorrect: No chicken was inside the Massamun (ONLY PLAIN BREAD). Ordered Brown rice and only got white. The food was average and portions were small. Most and not up to bar of an $80+ price. If I wanted street truck food I would go there. This place and chain should shut down as they do not care about customers orders. Finally I only got a partial refund for the incorrect items, the rest was kept with the supplier. I will never order large again for a new establishment with forged reviews. Dave

The restaurant was busy and I was by…read moremyself so I was happy to sit at the bar, and was attended to by the most sweet bartender ever. Very polite, professional and attentive. I first ordered the crispy spring rolls, which were very good. For my main I had the Massaman Curry. Now folks, this is my favorite curry of all time -- actually one of my favorite foods of all time -- and while it's common in LA where I used to live, it's not as common where I live now, in the Bay Area. And the restaurants that do carry it usually do not make it right and it's not very good. I am used to Massaman in the traditional preparation where it's more like a beef stew made with chunks of beef and needs to cook overnight. When done right it is the most aromatic curry ever -- it's almost like an aphrodisiac! -- and the beef comes out oh so tender. Usually if places have this curry but then offer a choice of protein, then it generally is not cooked properly, and that is actually how they prepare it at SaiTong. But because of such great reviews I decided to take a chance and try it. Well, let me tell you, it was definitely not the norm...it was absolutely delicious! I had it with chicken (they serve breast as default), and the chicken soaked up the curry really nicely. I also asked for there to be no onions, which I think alters the flavor of a curry too much. It does include the traditional potatoes and peanuts, and the potatoes were fine and cut into nice little chunks, the peanuts actually were thrown in raw.. what I think is the more traditional way which is to actually burn the peanuts a little bit, but that's okay, it didn't take down the dish any. Their brown rice is of the very dark kind, which I like, and goes so well with the curry. Service was wonderful from the bartender but was also provided by the rest of the staff and everyone was so nice. I left there feeling so satisfied, and cannot wait to go back and try some other dishes.

Fortunately, there were plenty of options near my Midtown hotel that offered quick delivery. Dagg Thai was just around the corner and had solid Yelp ratings. Rather than creating an online account, I called the restaurant directly and placed my order. They estimated delivery would take about 25 minutes. Less than 20 minutes later, the food was waiting for me in the hotel lobby. I ordered: * Cashew Nuts with Shrimp -- Bell peppers, onions, scallions, cashews, and dried chilies. * Dumplings -- Mixed shrimp and pork served with a soy vinaigrette dipping sauce. The Cashew Nuts with Shrimp had a flavorful, light sauce with just the right amount of heat. I really enjoyed it. My only disappointment was that the shrimp were battered and fried; I would have preferred grilled or pan-seared shrimp. The dumplings were more like shoo-mai than traditional dumplings. They were a bit dense but still flavorful and satisfying. Considering the quick delivery, the food arrived piping hot, and the excellent Cashew Nuts dish, this was an easy four-star meal.

My friend and I were heading somewhere else for dinner, but our original spot was closed for a private event. We decided to pivot and come here instead, and it worked out very much in our favor! I actually just got back from a trip to Thailand, so I went in with high hopes but a curious mind about how the authenticity and flavors would compare. While there were naturally a few little differences in taste here and there compared to being on the ground in Thailand, it didn't dim the deliciousness whatsoever. The food here is absolutely stellar. We decided to sit at the bar, and both bartenders who looked after us were incredibly friendly, helpful, and super clear when explaining the specials. I asked one of them for their favorite recommendations, and it did not disappoint. Here is what we ordered: Pineapple Fried Rice ($21): We ordered it without adding any protein, and it was packed with flavor. Highly recommend. Pad Thai ($24): We added beef to this one, but honestly, the noodles were so incredibly flavorful on their own that it didn't even need the additive! Thong Pan Sai Gai ($17): These looked almost like little tacos but were uniquely delicious. Papaya Salad ($16) & Satay Spring Rolls ($16): Perfect, fresh starters to kick off the meal. Mango Sticky Rice ($17): A must try for dessert. They use purple rice for this, and it was so yummy. For drinks, my friend ordered a Lycheetini ($19) and loved it. I had the Tangmo, Tangmo, Tangmo ($20) which was nice and refreshing. Even though our meal was a mix of great apps and sides, it was incredibly filling. We actually walked out with leftovers. The prices are very fair for the quality and portion sizes you get. We will absolutely be returning!

Both of us were starving, and I had put in a birthday request at the restaurant, so we decided to stay. The ambiance is classy, and this would be a great spot for a business dinner or date night. I ordered a massaman curry with roti and chicken ($29), and my friend ordered the chuchi shrimp ($30) and curry puff ($16). Prices are a bit above average for the portion size, but justified by the area. We both enjoyed our dishes; the flavors were on point! Then, for my friend's birthday, they gave us mochi ice cream and a card signed by the staff! That was a nice touch that overrode the restaurant week debacle. Service was fantastic. There were multiple check backs and water refills. I would recommend Sabai Thai for a fancy night out, and I would return to try other dishes.
