I would come here every day! Any time we are on the upper west side we eat here for fresh Thai food and super kind wait staff. Small little space but pretty available during off times. Tried the massaman and veggie noodles both were excellent. Tried the pan fried veg dumplings so good crispy and hot. Tried a thai tea and taro milk both excellent. Taro milk taste just like nutty fruity cereal milk. Go here! The lunch specials are the best great price. About $80 for three entrees one app and two drinks.

New Thai spot in Manhattan Valley with a walnutty interior, attentive service and good food. The pad see ew was tenderly cooked with a generous squid portion. The Thai iced tea was substantial.

Just tried this new Thai & Vietnamese spot and it was sooo good! The drunken noodles were -- super flavorful, perfectly cooked, and had just the right amount of spice. Not too oily, not too salty... just right. Really friendly service and a nice, chill vibe inside. Definitely coming back to try more dishes. Highly recommend!

This is a nice and lovely Thai restaurant. Good staff and great food! I ordered pad kra prow crispy pork and it was amazing! Crispy on the surface and chewy at inner part which is perfect!

The food was so yummy and they had so many options for someone that is a vegetarian! Everything was declined and tasted like classic Thai food, the service was great and I love the intimate vibe of the restaurant!

We got the pad see ew, pad thai, eggplant over rice, and 2 Thai iced teas. Portion wise - decent but the flavor could be better. The beef in the pad see ew could also be fresher - it was really hard to chew. Overall I think the quality could be improved.

Koo Thai/Vietnamese Restaurant is located on the corner of West 105 St. & Columbus Ave. Formerly 'Mekong'. Once again the ambiance is appealing with its brown tones & gold utensils. The staff is young but very accomadating. The dumplings & rolls are very good. The sándwich was a bit bulky but ok & as always, the iced milk teas are creamy & delicious. A nice, quiet place to go eat individualy or as a group.

The food here was really flavorful and the service was splendid! The portions were pretty big, and the food presentation was good as well. I would definitely come back again! Definitely one of the better Thai restaurants in the neighborhood.

From the very first bite, the flavors unfolded beautifully, offering a perfect blend of richness and subtlety. The ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, and every detail reflected the chef's passion and precision. It's the kind of dish that not only satisfies your appetite but also leaves a lasting impression on your heart.

Overpriced and at least 2 items were incorrect: No chicken was inside the Massamun (ONLY PLAIN BREAD). Ordered Brown rice and only got white. The food was average and portions were small. Most and not up to bar of an $80+ price. If I wanted street truck food I would go there. This place and chain should shut down as they do not care about customers orders. Finally I only got a partial refund for the incorrect items, the rest was kept with the supplier. I will never order large again for a new establishment with forged reviews. Dave

Thai Mango Surprise- This has a vodka base. You get mango puree, sticky rice syrup, coconut milk and coconut cream. It's like a drink version of the dessert, very tasty! Massaman Curry- We got this with beef which was cooked perfectly tender. The sauce is sweet with a hint of spice and made creamy with coconut milk. Potatoes and peanuts add bulk to the dish. Drunken Noodle- We got this with chicken and they gave us a generous amount of it. The sauce is savory and spicy, packed with flavor. The noodles are soft and chewy. Great experience overall!

Not all midtown restaurants stay open past 10, and I was relieved to find their kitchen going strong at that hour, as well as their dining space, which was full. Turned out it was for good reason because their food was delicious. My friend and I were hoping to eat at a restaurant nearby specializing in crab, but they closed much earlier. Fortunately for us, SaiTong's menu had plenty of crab on it, and we decided to double up and make each of our entree's a crab one. The black spaghetti crab curry and crab curry noodles advertised themselves as being very different dishes in both presentation and ingredients but ended up tasting kind of similar. One was topped with deep fried crab and used a different type of noodle than the other, but the sauces were so similar. This is not to say that they didn't taste good, but I would've preferred more variance. I'm glad we got an order of papaya salad to cut the richness of the other dishes, and I also appreciated it had a nice level of heat in it. Our servers were really friendly without being overbearing, and let us linger for a bit even after we paid the bill, as it was their last seating for the evening. There are so many excellent Thai restaurants in the city and I'd put SaiTong firmly in the category of perfectly solid spots to get your Thai fix, with some special dishes on the chef's menu worth checking out.

Amazing ambiance inside (I ADORED the gold hanging decor on the ceiling) Bathrooms were very clean and staff was so efficient and friendly. They refilled water all the time and brought out food very quickly. We were celebrating a birthday but there was nothing brought out, so I don't think they have that kind of service here.
