Beans- 1 I'm sorry but the beans had zero smoke flavor and it kind of tasted like they came right out of the can. A good barbecue place like this I know they can do much much better with their beans. Corn bread - 10 the cornbread came with my meal and it was absolutely perfect. A nice little crust on the outside soft and moist on the inside unbelievably perfectly cooked. This is one absolutely fantastic restaurant and I was very, very impressed with the quality of smoked meat they are producing. It took at least another 40 minutes for the food to arrive arrive We each had the two meat combo I had the Boston ribs with smoked brisket, onion strings, coleslaw, and cornbread. The ribs and the brisket had so much pepper that I could not taste the barbecue sauce. The Boston ribs were meaty, but at one end of each rib there were small bones, and the brisket was peppery and dry. I put extra barbecue sauce on the brisket, but couldn't taste it over the pepper. The meats and the onion strings were very greasy. The coleslaw was good. My husband had the brisket and a small dark meat quarter of a chicken. He also had the potato salad which had small ham pieces in it and a very, very sweet mashed candy sweet potatoes. Our lunch lasted over an hour then we had planned. We will not be returning.
