Everything is AI driven for profit, ignoring the human price extracted from the employees and customers. Human relationships are set aside, relying on misinformation instead of corporate responsibility. I went because I trusted the staff to care, I left because they don't anymore. This time I arrived at 9:15 for a 9:30 scheduled oil change. Noted 7 cars parked in the service drive so got out and spoke to Tommy and said "Y'all look slammed. I'm just here for an oil change appointment". He said no sir these are all drop ins and we'll take care of your appointment right away. Grabbed Gina and told her mine was an appointment oil change. Saw Gina drive my truck around to back at 9:30. Went up at 10:20 to ask about what the hold up might be. 10:30 Gina comes to tell me the truck was just put on the lift. We discussed my appointment and she said she didn't know about that. Also said someone didn't show up for work blah blah blah So guess if I hadn't asked about it my quick 15 min oil change truck would still be sitting back there somewhere. During one of my daily searches on Auto Trader a new listing popped up for Mark Weinstein Motors. It was a "unicorn" vehicle - rare in existence - an older model, incredibly low mileage, in fantastic shape (barely driven) and the listed price was in the KBB green price range (either good or great price for the vehicle's value). I reached out to Mark, who was quick to answer any and all my questions. I was in Houston and I couldn't make the trip to Austin to see the vehicle until the weekend, but he graciously agreed to hold the vehicle for me without any downpayment once I had set an appointment for a third party inspection. Despite receiving other inquiries about the vehicle, he held it for me for almost a week and even stayed a little late on Friday for my husband's and my arrival into town. The test drive and purchase process were smooth and straightforward. Mark explained everything thoroughly and even went the extra step of fixing the temporary paper license plate on top of an old metal plate to make it more secure. It's another example of Mark's great customer service. Like his great communication from start to finish - phone calls and text messages were always answered promptly. I haven't been disrespected nor has anyone been mean to me but I bought a 2019 Ford F-150 3 months back and have had nothing but issues. I got a mopar 1 year 12k mile warranty and was told take your truck to any dodge dealer if you have any issues and they will take care of you, this was their way of making me feel comfortable when I asked if my mechanic could look at it for one day. but when I tried the dodge dealer they say the only thing they service is dodge not any other make. When I looked at the truck I knew it had cosmetic damage. Some clear coat missing on the hood as well as 2 really small dents in the driver door. But my salesman told me that everything mechanical was sound and was really confident about that. Whenever I test drove it I noticed the mirror was really Wobbly and pointed it out to the salesman and he said that it was normal. Also I had to move stuff from storage to my house and the tail gate wouldn't work not only did I have to rent a U-Haul trailer I had to spend $500 to get my tailgate fixed because no dodge dealer ship will work on my truck even though they gave me a MOPAR (Dodge) warranty and I had to spend almost $300 to fix my mirrors witch was in fact not normal. And ever since I've had the truck the front end has been clicking really loud occasionally whenever I turn left or right.. To get suspension and alignment done is insanely expensive and was quoted 1200 for parts and labor! Now I have to pay that out of own pocket due to some salesman and finance manager trying to meet his mark this dealer is very disingenuous and only care about making their sale.
