Yes it can be quite pricey and it does feel weird getting pizza for a kids environment place, but it it worth it! I ordered the medium sized Canadian Bacon & Ham pizza stuffed crust. Again, the price was pretty steep, but unveiling the pizza brought back fond memories. The staff was pretty nice and friendly. The timeliness of my order despite how busy it was in there was appropriate. If you're an adult but feel weirded out about getting pizza from Chuck E. My son and I have been coming to this location for some time now and this place is not good. The food that we order, whether it's pizza, desert or French fries is always burnt and not appealing or appetizing. When I tried to get a refund or asked for them to cook it again, it's always a problem. Then once you complain, the entire staff begins to discriminate and act funny and rude towards you. My son has special needs and likes this location but it's not worth the time or money. I will try to find another convenient location and hopefully the atmosphere and staff will be more pleasant and professional. Took My Grandgirls on Wednesday around 3pm. I want to give this location 5 stars but upon arrival the young lady checking us in didn't even say Hi! No greeting whatsoever. No enjoy your time here or have fun. Just stamped our hands and that was it! They aren't rude but they act like they don't like their job! This is a kids spot when you walk in you want to see smiles and feel welcomed, be greeted properly and the fail to do that. They barely talk to you. The Chuck E Cheese Guy was nice. Located in a random shopping center near a Wal-Mart, so imagine if you must know how parking is. Upon entering you decide up front how much you want to spend food and the like. I went there specifically for a child's party, so we had a reserved party space, which I'm super grateful for because if we didn't have that- crowded much? This place is poppin kids are running everywhere and there parents follow behind. I didn't see tokens but rather cards where your money is loaded (which can be recycled upon exit). There are still tickets and a prize center. I did like the addition of several stations of hand sanitizer and the cute ticket blaster. The kids (and adults) had a blast trying to catch the tickets. I remember the pizza being good, this time not so much. They also had a salad bar which looked good, but I had no desire to stand in line for that. I checked this location out this past Friday. I am throwing my son's birthday party at Chuck E Cheese's this year and my choices came down to this location or the ffx location. I'm so glad I decided to personally visit before I picked the one that had better reviews on Yelp. This one is definitely a bit bigger than ffx and even has a indoor play place which my son loved and ffx doesn't have anymore. However I was completely turned off by: 1) the lack of game maintenance. For a Friday (when I would think they should expect it to start getting busy) there were games without their parts (missing balls) and games with no tickets loaded. 2) no employees on the floor to assist. All employees seemed to be behind the counters the whole time. 3) the complete obvious lack of enthusiasm from "Chuck E" as he made the quickest pass through of the floor to toss tickets in the air for the kids to pick up (I saw this twice) This annoyed me the most cause you're completely covered up in a mouse suit, and I can still tell you clearly don't want to do your job and at least pretend to want to interact with kids? At least at the ffx location Chuck E did a little dance while walking around, and took his time to high five and take pictures with the kids! I guess it definitely depends who's inside at the time, but first impressions matter and especially when I was there looking to pick a place to throw my kids birthdays party. The hours listed are wrong , they close at 9. Came in approx. 7:30 there was no one here . About 3 other families came in , no biggie. All the games are spread out for distancing . Our food was ready in a timely fashion but wasn't the best . The fries are thick and dry, pizza seemed like dough wasn't cooked long enough, and bones less wings weren't cooked long enough either. I know they are trying to get the food out as fast as possible but it could at least be cooked . They also seemed to be short staffed . No one is attending the games or wiping them down. I like the layout of this location, a separate area for small children with a playground and plenty of kiddy rides. The adult section has fun arcade games for adults or big kids to enjoy. The party area for this location is large and spacious. Bathroom were clean. The soda fountain area was clean and so were all areas of the restaurant. We personally love THIS Chuck E Cheese! I bring my son to this location on average 3-4x per month during mid day hours M-F. During the week we always receive outstanding customer service. There is always a gentleman there doing maintenance on the games and cleaning them. The few times we have had an issue with a game and he is always prompt to resolve issue! Pros: Food is constantly good but nothing outstanding. However, it is kids food not a 5 star restaurant - my son loves their pizza! This facility has always been very clean during our visits. I have been to other locations where this is not the case. This location actually has multi-games where kids can actually interactively play vs. just putting a coin in to get tickets. No more coins, they use swipe cards! Having a swipe card is so great. No more worrying about kids loosing coins or misplacing un-used tokens until next visit! As with all Chuck E Cheeses weekends are crazy busy and most Friday night as well. If possible I would suggest going before 10am and leaving before 11am if you plan to visit on weekend and want to avoid the crowds. read more

I have never simultaneously loved and hated a spot at the exact same time. My siblings and I grew up celebrating milestone birthdays with Chuck E and his gang of musically-inclined anima-tronics so when my niece turned five it was a no-brainer to host her party here. I'm not sure if it's because I'm old and bitter now but this place is no longer the shiny/awesome/happy place of my childhood. Walking in, the first and second thing you will notice is a giant "No Guns" sign posted in the front door....and the distinct smell of weed. I was immediately alarmed but hearing all of the incidents about Chuck E Cheese Brawls in the news, I figured to let it go. The boy and I walked in without any hassle but if you have a child they are immediately tagged. This is great...however my friends with kids noticed that as parents they were not tagged so pretty much anyone could have picked up a kid in a stroller and dipped out. There was also nobody checking kids on the way out...just on the way in. We were luckily in a reserved spot for the birthday girl so our seating was spacious, clean and away from the madness of the walk-ins. If you are a fan of hot messes like I am, this was truly a sight to behold: Gangs of children whacking each other, parents whacking kids, babies being changed at tables flanked by overflowing plates of food (even when there was a bathroom with changing table less than 10 feet away), an endless fashion show of moms in questionable fashion choices, children who do not know hot to wait in line or the concept of coin operated games, sticky machines...kids who will push you aside so they can take over your game...so much eye candy I could hardly stand it. That being said there are definitely some positives about this venue: + The kids had a blast and that's all that counts + Knowing that there are parents in this world who love their children so much that they would willingly spend an entire afternoon here is heart warming + The pizza is still awesome (although they changed their birthday cake formula...better off bringing it in yourself) + Our party hostess was hard working and efficient + The giant hampster / mouse wheel was entertaining Also, just a tip for those adults who want to imbibe... I threw my child's birthday party here. I typically opt out for the Fairfax location but I heard this location was bigger, recently renovated and happens to be a bit closer to my guests who were coming from 495, arlington and maryland. The host oft he party was amazing, she was super attentive and friendly, all the children loved her. The pizza was , as usual, amazing. The party area is spacious and not over crowded so there was definitely enough space to relax and enjoy yourself. Outside the party area was pure CRAZINESS!! If Chuck - e - cheese was empty that day, I probably would've given this place a 4-5 star rating but the problem was that it was FAR from empty and there was just TOO much going on. This place was CRAZY... kids were everywhere and there was a childrens fight that broke out. Seriously. 2 groups of like 5 kids just started pounding each other. wth. Kids were cutting each other in line, stealing coins from each other, it was hard to walk. I literally almost tripped over kids lying face down in the walk way MULTIPLE times. The kids had SO much fun here, but watching as an adult I quickly began to crave wine. LOL. BTW, there is a 1 beer per person limit...wth??? I probably won't come back to this location, despite the amazing service we had as a party. We had our daughter's 2nd birthday party here and we were very happy with the outcome. All the kids had so much fun. It's been over a month and our daughter still asks to watch videos from her party, especially the birthday song and dance where Chucky comes out. If you are planning a party here, go with the Mega Star package. All we had to bring was extra candy for the goody bags and cake. That's it. As a mom, this was much appreciated and I was able to fully enjoy my child's party. We also had her party on a Sunday and received a major discount on our bill. We will probably do this again next year. Also, every time a Chuck E Cheese commercial comes on, our daughter gets up and starts chanting Chuck E Cheese! It's a great workout too, haha. - There is beer on the menu. (It's overpriced and probably not very good beer. But it's there.) Cons: - Some of the games are gross & sticky. There are few places on God's green Earth that genuinely frighten me. Chunky Cheese is one of them. :/ The food. The lights. The noise. The dodgy-looking patrons that cruise around the games floor wandering purposely like the stereotypical baddies in a wonderfully cheesy 70s Kung fu film. Yes, parents and/or adults accompanying the hordes of screaming children. Chunky Cheese is thoroughly a place for children to properly "act a fool", as a patron sitting at a table across from us so eloquently put it. It does make me despair however when I see the parents and assorted grown-ups around me randomly mean-mugging everyone around them as if this is a sort of territorial conquest or an extension of wherever they hail from. There's also the usual loud phone conversations bordering on menacing threats, as well as the disturbing acts of leering by a particular patron at this specific visit. Gosh, I'd forgotten how terrible the pizza is here - took twenty minutes for it to be nuked, and came complete with a distinctively metallic bordering on soapy after-taste. Didn't bother with the salad bar, I'm sure it's terrific but not for me, mate. The bathrooms were surprisingly CLEAN. Seriously, some of the best I've witnessed recently in any establishment - kinda scared me though the thought that this may be due to no one bothering to wash up before/after their meals so as not to miss a single minute of cartoonish madness. Eew. And the tickets. Jesus Christ - I wonder if the bloke who sets the Chunky Cheese exchange rate for the value of these tickets must've worked as an intern under Robert Mugabe in Zimbabwe, or for sure at one of the 'too big to fail' banks. Crickey - my wee nephews copped a bag of the stuff and still did not get value on a trade-in prize. They're still using the hand stamps, they're not checking temperatures , no hand sanitizer is located in the facility, none of the games are being wiped down(every 30 mins as they state online) I purchased 120mins worth of gameplay did not once see anything being wiped down. As I'm watching my kids play, I noticed a homeless ,drug addict looking lady walk up to them and starts saying nonsense I asked her to get away from us. She wasn't a paying customer nor did she have any kids with her, yet they still let her in. I told a worker about it and they said they know about her and it's nothing they can do about it. So much fun!! I took a 2 yr old and a 4 yr old after preschool today. On Wednesdays, they have a coupon for one hour of play for $14.99. The kids enjoyed all the games/rides for little ones, especially the merry-go-round. We got a small gluten-free pizza for lunch which was delicious! The girls enjoyed the climbing tubes and other activities that were ticket free after our timed card expired. This location on Richmond Hwy was very clean and staff were great! The food was good except for the sandwich my sister ordered but she wasn't angry because thus was the first time it has ever happened . We came Sunday afternoon, and it was horrendous. Line at the register to get food and tokens had 1 register with 20 people (line was out the door? In line... Then, there was not enough tables whatsoever. The play are was so dirty and many of the games were out of order. Photo booths were out of papers. So we just wasted lot of coins. The last time I've been to a Chuck e Cheese was when I was like two so I half knew what to expect and half didn't. First off, before my family and me even get out of the car, there's a herd of ratchet girls with kids outside the building. This isn't Chuck e cheese's fault for the ratchetness, but this was just one thing I observed. OH LORD THE KIDS. THE HYPERNESS. THE LOUDNESS. THE CROWDEDNESS. This shows a good business so it didn't really bother me. Having kids bump and run into me shows that this Chuck e Cheese location must be awesome! Friendly and fast service...awesometastic. But then...to me and my boyfriend's horror...the pizza was NOT that good. I always thought Chuck e Cheese was known for having bomb pizza, but we were proven wrong that day. They should totally consider catering from Pizza Hut or COSTCO maybe. Salads were the ones that were bomb however.
