My husband recently brought a Groupon and took our toddlers (3 &5) for a pizza and game day. They had the time of their little lives so we decided to have our little one's 4th birthday party there. We booked our party early on a Sunday morning and it went great! We had a total of 5 kids in our party. Our host was amazing. Super sweet, patient & informative. We opted to add the trampoline and ball pit area at $10 extra per kid which was a hit as well. The kids had a blast going between the arcade games and the ball pit area. Before we knew it, it was time to dance and party with the man Chuck E himself. The kids went wild everyone was so happy & Chuck E was engaging and fun to interact with. They sang happy birthday as a group and then Chuck E went by each table to take pictures. The pizza was good I'm glad we added an extra pie to our package! I would say, as a mom of four who always dreaded even going to Chuck E. Cheese, this was a fun party idea that the kids will always remember. I'm glad we had it early on a Sunday morning because the ambiance was super chill and not overwhelming at all. I'd definitely return! Did i mention they serve beer & wine? This location has definitely gone down hill. When you first walk in you get your stamp and then you see two security guards at table in front. The customer service was fine but no one is smiling here they looked miserable. We got a 30 minute play card for my kids and the first three games we tried to play were broken. We walked around looking to see what games were available that we could try but it was so packed and stressful, kids socks and shoes all over the floor next to the jungle gym area people were tripping over them. Just when I didn't think Chuck E Cheese couldn't get any better, it did! The upgrades are awesome and the kids loved every bit. There was the jump park for the active kids and arcades for the kids who wanted to chill a bit. We were there for 5 hours and that's having to make my kids leave! We came for my a birthday for my sons classmate (2 years old) and I thought they did a great job with the place. I didn't realize the the trampoline and ball pit area cost extra. This was one of the worst birthday party experiences I've ever had. The party started at 3:00 p.m. and things were fine for the first few minutes. Around 3:15 p.m., my child entered the trampoline park and was injured due to zero supervision. There were no staff members monitoring the trampoline area at all. Because of the injury, I had to leave immediately and take my child to a pediatric urgent care/emergency room to have his knee checked. We returned at 4:45 p.m., and the party was already over. The birthday child missed almost his entire own party because he was injured at this facility. Despite this, we were still charged the full amount, which is completely unacceptable. What made this even worse was the staff's behavior. When we asked for help, staff were rude, dismissive, and showed no concern during a medical situation involving a child. According to my sister, staff began clearing our party table around 4:25 p.m., even though we were told we could stay until 5:30 p.m. There were no other parties scheduled, and the area remained empty--there was absolutely no reason to end our party early. To make matters worse, no one has contacted us about the injury, the incident report, or any type of resolution. No apology, no follow-up, nothing. This was supposed to be a special day for my child, and instead it ended in an emergency room visit, frustration, and disappointment. The lack of supervision, poor staff attitude, and complete absence of accountability make this location unsafe and unprofessional. I do not recommend hosting a birthday party here. read more

Came to Chuck e. Cheese 2 months ago. Food was ok, no issues with staff. My biggest problem is that the a/c is not working. They have several indoor u it's throughout the restaurant but it doesn't do much. Also, at least 2 of the units were not running as they had error messages on their screens. We visited again today, 8/30 and the a/c is still not fixed. Very uncomfortable in the restaurant, especially if you have kids running around playing. My wife and I sat at a table and it was extremely uncomfortable. Middle of summer, 95° outside and not having working a/c is terrible. We were disappointed to learn that the overhead tubes were replaced with ball pits, climbing area, slides, and trampolines that the can use at an extra cost. This area doesn't need power, computers or mechanics yet there is an extra cost. This is ridiculous. And the single serve pizza .... $12.50?!!! OMG!! We dropped $50 for one hour. We used to come with the kids and the place would be packed but now not so much. You are pricing yourself out of business especially in this economy. read more

I mean, it's Chuck E. Cheese, so bear that in mind. This location is airy and well-lit. It is clean, and the staff is at least not unfriendly (more than I can say about their Ft. Lauderdale location). You don't come here for gourmet food and an elegant environment. You come here because you have younger kids/family members/friends and you want a safe place for them to play and eat. Dave N Busters was completely full, so we ended up at Chuck E. Cheese. There's a big parking lot in front with plenty of big spaces. You enter the business, and you get a handstamp to make sure that you are there with a kid (I'm not entirely certain how great of a child abduction system this is, but at least they're trying?), and then you can either order at the counter or scan/order/pay from a QR code at the tables. I ordered old school. We got combo #3, which included two sodas, a large 1-topping pizza, and an order of wings. I added a salad bar trip and two more sodas for my family. They have wine and beer (including White Claw on the menu), but apparently they were not able to serve alcohol that night (it looked like all the employees were under 21 to my old eyes). I thought the price for the amount of food was reasonable, although $11 for a very generic and anemic looking salad bar is not a great deal. The food was, in general, not bad but quite salty. The pizza had a crunchy crust, and the pepperoni had a good char around the edges. The wings were crispy but not huge. The salad bar had very typical offerings, and my only consolation was the no one other than us seemed to use it, so it was probably reasonably clean. I stuck to carrot sticks, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes and orange slices to get some veggies and fruits into my family before the carb and grease fest. Food came out within 20 minutes. My husband said that there was a good smattering of games that the kids enjoyed. The facility was not overly crowded despite being a Saturday evening. The kids played games for about 30 minutes (15 minutes while waiting for food, then a pause while eating, and the remaining 15 minutes after dinner). I like Dave N Busters for having a bigger menu, but Chuck E Cheese isn't a bad option if DNB is too crowded. read more

We were invited to come to this location for a 4 year old toddler's birthday party. This location is a nice size for parties. There was a decent sized section for serving food for the birthday party. There were four total with me and my crew. There were also quite a few toddlers there in addition to my two. According to many of the parents who have been there before and were at the party, this location has had a much need makeover. We love the updated look. The party package seemed to be a great deal. All the kids had a card for free games for about 2 hours I believe. We did have an issue with a game that wasn't working properly and had to search for someone to help us, but then the issue was eventually resolved by one of the attendants. With a party, you can bring in your own food and/or order from their location which is great since many party venues don't allow you to bring in outside food. The party we attended had pizza and drinks from the establishment which the kids enjoyed and birthday desserts were brought in from the outside. Chuck E. came out for a birthday song, dance, and pictures with the kids. Before he comes out there is an announcement that tells everyone to go to the middle, but that is not where he came out to make his appearance which was confusing. All of the characters except for Chuck E. are all automated and the other characters play up on a big screen. The kids loved this part! My main con is that the games for younger children aren't too exciting or creative. I have two four year olds and they were over the games in the children's section pretty quickly. Many of those games are games that you ride on and they don't last long. We found ourselves exploring the older kid games. I think the audience of Chuck. E. Cheese is younger kids and they should focus on having it fully supplied with games for younger kids. I give this location 3.5 out of 5 stars and if my daughters didn't get bored so fast I would give them a full 4 stars. read more

The AC was broken, the drink machines were broken, I almost passed out from the heat and not even water! Service was absolutely horrible. Many of the games were broken and paid for dedicated birthday area and dedicated host and had to constantly police my own area because other parties kept sitting in our table areas leaving me to constantly ask them to move so our guests could sit. I went to Chuck E Cheese last week with my family (visiting from MI) for my niece's birthday. I was expecting it to be super ghetto & dirty, but we were all pleasantly surprised! This location is actually bigger than all of the other locations we've been to in Michigan. They even have a small bumper cars area! We came here on a Monday night so it wasn't busy (loved that). It was clean, there were a lot of games, and the stuffed crust pizza is actually good. I would definitely come here again when my family comes into town, but we'll only come here on a weekday. I'm not sure why this place is getting such a bad wrap. I've been here several times now, and it's not that bad. Is it loud? Yes. Are there kids running around? Yes. That's how it's supposed to be, it's an arcade for little kids. I have had a couple games take tokens, but there is always some close by to either fix the problem, or refund the token (you just have to let someone know). I like to ration out the tokens to my child. This teaches a little self control while we all play (yes, I play too). When you go here, keep in mind, this is an arcade aimed at very young kids, and they sell a limited number of food items. Speaking of which, the pizza is not bad. It's not great, but on par with most delivery pizza joints. My child loves it, so we go for birthdays and school events. My husband and I have been taking our now five-year-old son here since he was really little and everything was always very relaxed and chill and recently there has been a lot of different rides and things taken out or not working and I have lost a lot of tokens by swiping my card and the game not working and not getting any help and then earlier tonight we decided to go up there since the mall closed at 8 p.m. instead of 9 and noticed two women walking around with white button-up collar shirts with black pants that just didn't look nice from the get and we went on about playing and going around the place with our son and then found a ride and our son swiped the card a few times so we still had a few credits left on this ride/ game and it was 8:59 p.m. when one lady with black pants and a long-sleeve white button-up shirt with long dreaded black hair came up to us and rudely pointed at her watch and said we're closed and I said something about the credit left on the machine because we still have three more plays on it and asked if there is any way it could be refunded and she rudely again said we are closed and that's why we were announcing it when people were arriving and I said oh I didn't have anyone tell me that and then she contradicted herself and then oh I said it over the loudspeaker, yeah with all that noise going on in there I really never heard a speaker but it's like which one is it lady.. you let me know at the door that you were going to be closing and at 8:59 p.m. going to shut the games off when normally that's when kids are up at the front and getting their presents and stuff for their tickets so I don't know if they got new owners or what but tonight is the first night that I have Ever left there and been angry instead of feeling happy and us all having a good time and I just really hope that it goes back to the way it was because we're not trying to come there and have people treat us like s*** when we're just trying to take our kids to have a good time and I could understand if it was 5 minutes after closing time or so but it wasn't even 9 p.m. yet and she's rudely over there hassling us yet there's another mother and child playing and getting pictures of her son without being rudely interrupted! #228 Warning. Children enter here and loose their minds. OK, wife and I knew that going in but when the reality of it slaps you in the face, well, that's another matter. We took the grandkids there just because we're such good grandparents. I was a bit put out when upon entering I had to get my hand stamped for no apparent reason but we'll talk about that in a bit. After entering the gates of hand stamp hell one is free to roam in game land. One must buy tokens from the resident rodent if one wants to play. All the games say 25 cents per play. Translated into Chuckee language that means one token. One token here costs about 33 cents. I guess the price of cheese went up. Arming the kids with overpriced tokens off they went. Hey Rat, listen up. If you're going to run a kid game place please ensure they all work properly. Ripping off kids is not cool. You'll find almost every game in existence here except for pinball. I love pinball. Kids play for tickets which depending on the amount of tickets will get them a rubber snake or other various chachkees. Our two rubber snakes cost us $20. You can eat here if you dare. Pizza is their thing, didn't try it thankfully. I'm sure it's horrible. Now the good part. Remember the hand stamp enter station? We were all stamped with the same number when we entered. Hands are checked on the way out to make sure all numbers match and the kids you're with are yours. I was a little skeptical since it is next to a K-Mart I parked and went in. I was greeted by the friendliest employee who was VERY nice where I ordered some food and got some tokens. The food was okay. Nothing special or anything to brag about. I had an individual pizza but wish I had the salad bar, they had a lot of toppings to choose from. It took quite a long time for the pizza to come out, about 15 minutes. I was excited to get it but it seemed like something I could make (or a 10 year old could make) at home. Does pizza made at home sound that good? Yeah... it wasn't. Also the sweet tea tasted awful but the soda was fine. But who does to Chuck E Cheese for the food? All of the games were up and running and it was very clean. I expected a lot more games than there were but there was enough. Also the play area with the tubes where you take off your shoes wasn't that impressive. It went like one direction and thats it. With that being said, I was surprised to see how small the inside of the Chuck E Cheese was. I don't feel like it is big enough for a child's birthday party. There didn't seem to be many good areas for parties to gather like other Chuck E Cheeses have. I went to redeem my tickets after I got lucky on the Deal or No Deal game and won a bunch and the employee was again very friendly and gave me some extra candy which made me VERY happy! I left around 6:30 and the line to get in and buy tokens was almost to the door so I'd advise you go early! I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews, our experience was about as good as being at Chuck E Cheese can possibly be. We had our daughter's 2nd birthday party there today. We only had a couple children attending and the rest adults, but we got the party package and reserved online. For about $100 we got 2 pizzas, wings, tons of soda, cake, decorations, 5 cups of tokens, extra ticket vouchers, a "party host" and of course the table and birthday song and all that. It sounds like a lot but we fed over 12 people and had still had tokens left over that we had to spend quickly at the end and 2000 tickets from the "ticket blaster". The pizza was as awesome as I remember, for some reason I've always loved Chuck E Cheese pizza. The wings weren't great but they were edible. I personally would not have bought a cake because it's cheaper to make one at home but Grandma made the reservation, it was just a plain white cake but it was actually pretty good. We had plenty of time to eat lunch and play before we ate cake and opened presents, we weren't rushed at all. We ended up staying an hour after our party was over and just moved to another unreserved table. Our host was very nice and attentive. The downsides: looooooong wait to cash in tickets for prizes and NO MORE BALL PIT OR TUNNELS! We got the party for earlier in the day, 12:30 pm but didn't leave until around 3 pm which is when we went to turn in our tickets. The place was PACKED. It took forever in that crowd of chaos trying to get some prizes, or at least it seemed like it did with a flailing toddler. Do not go on the weekend unless you get there early! Also, I realize there were probably a bunch of "accidents" in the tunnels but that was half the fun! It seems like they have a lot less games suitable for adults, no shooters or air hockey. It's been years since I've been to one until today but it seems to have changed a lot. Overall, it's a decent place for a smaller kid's party. Get the party package, you will save money. I couldn't justify going just for fun, I'm sure there are more affordable arcades around. read more

I am usually not a fan of the evil mouse. But this time was different. We went right after they opened on a week day. We practically had the place to ourselves. It was nice and clean. The employees were very attentive. The food is mediocre but you aren't there for the food. All the games seemed to be up and running. Chuck E. himself even made an appearance. Went for my son's birthday party. The place is in the middle of a renovation with construction materials all the place. Place was generally dirty with receipts and napkins behind the counter. Now I don't know if it's because I expected something entirely different or what, but a place where you teach your (rather small) kids to go 'gambling' isn't anything to be proud of. Initially I thought you go there to eat and after your meal the kids get to roam around and play in ball pens, climb around and whatever. Reality hit hard when we walked in, saw the prices for food and decided not to eat, and got coins for 10$ each. Kids were running wild in there, stuffing their coins in any ole machine without having a clue what this was all about. There was hardly any staff, it wasn't very clean and I was happy to leave this place. We spent about 1,5 hours to follow the kids, non of them were interested whenever Chucky showed up to sing some song and hugs kids. This is a place where you get your kids addicted to gambling is my opinion and I know I won't set another food in there if I can help it. The (only) positive side was, that security was great! We all received a stamp and upon leaving we had to show them to make sure the right adults were leaving with the right kids. That is the only reason why I decided to give two stars. Someone really thought about this and it seems to work really good. One time a machine broke one of the staff members gave us new coins, apologized, fixed the machine and made sure it worked. Yay for that. My conclusion to this: I cannot suggest this place with or rather for kids. They should be able to run, climb and play and not be taught to stuff their coins in the machines as fast as they can just to run to the next machine while some of the parents just sit and do nothing ... there is no staff to explain anything to the kids.
