I can't exactly remember the last time I had been to a Chuck E. Cheese, but it's probably been since the 70's! In fact, I wasn't aware that these pizza places were still in business until now! That's because I was recently invited to a children's birthday party. My late fiancée, Joe K's granddaughter was celebrating her 6th birthday. Even though this location was a long drive away from my residence, I looked forward to seeing his side of the family again after a couple of years. I get lost easily, but still managed to find this place with little trouble. There is plenty of parking available even though it is part of a large and popular strip mall. The interior of the business was bustling with children and adults alike. It seemed like they crammed as much fun as they could fit into this warehouse sized room. As I entered, I noted that all the games, toys, music and lights are at the front half of the room. Long tables are located at the back end where the parties and food eating are placed. Featuring Pasquales Pizza. They even made specialty pizza for those who require dietary restrictions. There were several children's parties going on at the same time, and felt a little cramped. The kids get bracelets with swipe cards attached to use for unlimited game playing during their allotted reservation time. Amongst the celebrations going on, the star of the pizza parlor arrives: Chuck E. Cheese himself. That's when the excited children get to watch him put on a singing and dance routine with staff members, include the kids to join in, and pose for photographs. It seems like a great place to entertain youngsters and maintain the party on a high energy level. Since I'm not a high energy person, I felt a little overwhelmed, but I survived well enough! I looks like this is a fun place for the kids and you can't go wrong with having a party here at least once in their life time, and maybe acquire some memories for that old Chuck E. Cheese experience! But things have definitely changed since the 1970's!!

    You are amazing!

Special needs son has been obsessing over Chuck E Cheese for months. Figured I'd make his night and head there. Whoever was playing the role of Chuck E. Cheese in full costume clearly noticed how excited my son was to see him. They gave him a high five and took a few pictures. They also saw him again later and gave him another high five. I know they were probably just doing their job but I haven't seen him smile this much in a long time. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Set up for 6kids for $99 !!Def worth it

I have to say that i was impressed, we had a birthday party for my daughter on Saturday 3/22 10am and i want to say to that the ladies to were there early and set everything and hosted our group were amazing and very helpful, their customer service /service was above and beyond! This place was clean and all the games were working we honestly had no issues. We ordered over 6 pizzas wings and bread sticks and they came out fast, they didn't take too long . . Everything was perfect! This is our new fave Chuck E. Cheese to visit!!

We were at this place for a birthday party! The kids were delighted! They played different games, ran and had fun. We also participated in some games! And then a big mouse came to us and brought a cake! The kids were delighted, they danced together, had fun and played. At the end of the evening, the kids exchanged their points for prizes. It was very fun and interesting! I recommend this place with children!

It's been a hot minute since we've been to chuck e's. We made our return thanks to vaccinations! Yay! The place was busy! All of the games were working except for one which isn't bad at all. There are two options to play - points or time! We opted for 1 card and paid for time. Although the games don't give out as much tickets anymore we still managed to walk out with some good prizes. If you purchase the time option you can pause your card at various kiosks so kids can take a break or eat. We didn't touch the food so can't comment there. Overall, a good experience for the kids.

This is the first time I took my daughter to this chucky cheese. There's plenty of parking and the inside is pretty clean. We got there around 11:20 for a birthday party so wasn't as busy. The staff were friendly and assisted us as needed. The staff who helped our table was attentive, she refill our water pitcher & fruit punch. When she brought the cake, she even cut it for us afterwards. My daughter was able to play the games without even waiting since it wasn't that busy. If we're near this area, we'll possibly come by again.

Amazing place for kids to enjoy some delicious food and games and the staff was amazing! Had my sons 4th birthday party here and we got the ultimate package. Included cake, decors, unlimited okay for the two hours we reserved. Some dancing and the ticket blaster. Good bags and much more!! My kid and his friends had the best time. Shoutout to our amazing host Bailey!!!

At one point my daughter got upset because she wanted to go into the play area while I was quickly grabbing a drink refill. She's three, so a little fussing happens sometimes. I was actively handling the situation and even apologized to the worker who came up to me and asked what was wrong, letting her know it would probably only take a minute or two for me to calm her down. Instead of giving me space to manage my own child, the employee responded with "within reason" and continued hovering. The whole situation was handled quickly, once I got my drink and sat it down at the table in the play area, I was able to redirect my daughter to the rides and everything was fine. Also note, her father was there next to my daughter and she chose ME to come up to vs the father (he is perfectly capable). What made the interaction frustrating is that my daughter is autistic, and we are working through situations like this as she learns to navigate busy environments. This outing was actually a big step for our family to see how she would do in a place like this, and overall she did great! We are so proud of her. She wasn't bothering anyone, and the moment of fussing passed quickly. Parents, especially those with children who have special needs sometimes just need a moment to help their child regulate. A little understanding and patience would go a long way. The kids ended up having a great time after that, but the unnecessary interference from the staff member definitely left a bad impression. I hope management reminds staff that sometimes the best thing they can do is simply give parents the space to handle their children. The food was not that great but it's geared toward kids so we didn't mind.

With so many State employees, "good enough for government work" fits a little too well. We've gained better boba spots since the pandemic, though still not at the Bay Area level. And from all the Bay Area people that I've met, they like Sac's housing prices, but miss their favorite restaurants. The Bay Area also has better board‑game cafes, but after my visit to Galaxy Game Cafe, I can say this one feels right at home, and that's good enough in the best possible way. (If you don't know, there's been a trend of Bay Area people moving to Sac). My friend suggested we check it out; he'd been before and enjoyed it. My first impression, was the "X" in "Galaxy" cleverly mimicking an X‑wing. Inside, a gallery of Star Wars 3.75" figures greeted us, with display cases thoughtfully placed throughout the store. It's a fun theme, and the shop fully embraces its geeky niche. A quick glance around the room revealed a game-focused layout. I was surprised because when I hear "cafe," I usually picture coffee, pastries, and light lunch options. If you just want a snack, Galaxy Game Cafe has you covered although there's no blue milk offered. My desire for more food variety was quickly forgotten once I looked at their game selection. I've been to game cafes where pieces are missing, boxes are dirty, or things are disorganized; the kind of place where you end up focusing more on your food than the game. Here, it was the opposite. I enjoyed my snacks and the games. In my small sample size (Dice Forge and Kronologic), everything felt like new. Out of curiosity, I checked Heat for expansions, but they seem to stick to base games, and again, everything looked liked like new. After we finished playing, I placed our games on the return shelf and realized they care enough to check. I appreciated the care they put into maintaining a good gaming experience- isn't that good enough? If you are in the area, I highly recommend them! The courses were challenging, but not too hard, and not too easy. Everything was kept up and clean. Looking around the course while we were playing I didn't notice any thing dilapidated or broken. It took us a little while to get through the course because of the kids, but it was very enjoyable amd we all had a great time. With it being early February and pretty cold out, alot of the outside attractions were closed. We came right after breakfast on a Sunday, so those could have been factors also. We decided to go inside and play in the arcade. Unfortunately alot of the games were out of order. There were some that we scanned our playcard and took the funds, but didn't start the game. We went to the counter and let them know and they kindly reloaded our cards. It happened a few times and honestly I think they were starting to think we were trying to scam them into recharging our cards. Either that, or we weren't swiping the card correctly. Neither of those were the case and we offered to show them which game it was each time, and offered to demonstrate with our card how it took the money and didn't start. They said that wasn't necessary, and a staff member would walk over with us so they could figure out what was going on and put a sign if necessary. The little photo booths are fun, but again, there are two and only one was working. All in all the facility was very clean and kept up. I noticed there were staff members constantly walking around picking up trash, and forgotten items from other guests. There were even a couple wiping down games and sanitizing them.
