And the space was very large. Almost too large, and made the experience somewhat awkward with us being the only ones inside. They need to have music playing for ambiance. It was just a little odd with the space being so large, no music playing, and us being the only patrons inside. I get rent is prob high, but get a smaller space and lower the prices. We went right when they opened at 10am on a Saturday. Place was empty so that was nice, everything was super clean too. The girl at the counter was super helpful and patient since my 2 and 3 year olds have lots of ideas of what they want and take a bit to decide. There's sooo many choices. We ended up getting the 15-30minute session with a 5oz slime. The kids had a blast and I loved that I didn't have to buy the supplies to make 3 different slimes! My daughter loves coming here. We're not big slime people at home, but she loves coming here to get some slime. We usually get the smallest size at $12. The times we went, the staff was helpful letting us know which slime was sticky or not. We prefer nothing too sticky so she suggested a couple options. You then get to pick your color, scent, 2 mix ins and a charm. The colors are all nice and bright. Scents include fruity, fresh, and baked goods. The mix ins are different colored glitters or little confetti. After you customize your slime you get some activator and 15 minutes of play time. 15 minutes is good enough for us to mix up the slime and play for a bit. We love coming here, but sometimes it can be busy a slow. Staff have always been friendly. We felt bad when one time there was only one staff and long line. This review is for the Folsom location. We took our son there for his birthday 15 minutes after opening. There was a birthday party and the staff told us it'd be 30 minutes until we can be helped. The birthday party didn't rent out the whole place but all 3 staff members were busy tending to the party. It would make more sense to staff better for when birthday parties are scheduled or have 2 people help the birthday party and one person quickly help the walk in's. So we waited because my son really wanted to get his slime for his birthday. After waiting 25 minutes we went up to get our slime and the staff were slow to help us and once we said we would like to order they said "I can help if you know what you want, it needs to be quick". The customer service needs work to say the least. read more

Had an incredible time at Glittery Slime Parlor. The slime selection was incredible and so affordable. We had so much fun speaking with the staff and when we struggled with our clicky slime, they came from the back to rescue us. They were so kind and patient and helped us to find the perfect slime texture. If you love sensory experiences and want to choose from a HUGE variety of slime types, come here. There is a clean environment, clear signage on cost and available options, and easy to understand rules of the parlor. (Basically no eating or drinking unless you book a party, which is fair!) I also learned that you can book them out for parties and reserve a spot for your group. If you have a lot of little ones, I would reccomend that!! Can't recommend it enough for a quick and relaxing decompression for adults lol. More relaxing than a cup of coffee or tea for me today! We were excited for the concept and thought you could make slime from scratch, but it turns out that they already have them premade and then you get to add 2 items 1. to enhance the smell & 2. one charm (we picked a flower). We were hoping to do my daughter's birthday party there but realized that there's not much to this as she got a slime making kit from Amazon where you have to mix everything from scratch. It needs more staff for parties, inadequate supplies for a party like even a common trash can would be greatly appreciated. They need a team leader or crew leader, someone to delegate when there is a party, when to eat, when to cut the cake, where to sit to eat, where to sit to make the slime. There is no direction whatsoever. Kids were sitting there wondering where to go, what to do. At least one more staff member would help for a total of three, and one needs to be the designated team leader. They're are a lot of other venues in that area in that same shopping community of Palladio that create better party experiences, they know what they're doing. This is for the parlor in Folsom since Yelp and Google doesn't have the Folsom one up yet. The only way I could review this was to put it in the Roseville review. This is a model that needs great improvement and has the capacity, it's low hanging fruit. You may get people once, but you won't get return business if it stays like this. It's a great idea, and I would hate to see your business close in less than 2 years for something that is easily fixed. read more

Just like an ice cream bar you pick your type of slime(FULL RANGE Sticky to non-sticky, scents (THERE ARE SO MANY), mix-ins and charm!!! My personal fav was the Peaches and Cream scent. 15 mins is the perfect amount of time to mix your mix-ins and play a little! If you want more time it's just a little extra but SO worth it to meet your slime playing needs! This place has a lot of potential and to run and own something like this you need to have half of a personality and be friendly with kids. We had an awful experience today. We had people come from out of town and we brought 5 kids in for business. The idea of it is neat. The owner is extremely cold, rude, impatient and extremely stingy. You pay $30 for the larger jar of slime and you only get 15 minutes to "play" before being charged more. The process was chaotic and rushed and the lady put all 3 of us adults in a terrible mood. Did I mention for the money they are extremely Stingy?? 10/10 will NOT go back, we used to recommend this place to people as we went once before (had an okay experience but figured it was an off day) and now we will let people know to steer clear, it's a rip off and the owner is not friendly at all. A bit expensive, but when you compare everything to the all online shops (yes I'm familiar with a LOT of the popular/indie/Instagram brands) it's about the same. However, with this you get to customize everything: texture, color, scent, toppings (glitters etc) and a charm. They put all the dry toppings in a seperate little plastic cup and the slime you chose in a jar with a couple drops of the color you choose . The scent is mixed in before they add it to the jar though, which is better in my opinion, that could lead to like, super "scent stained" hands. Other than that, everything is unmixed and seperate. They give you everything in a tray with some activator to use as well... Then the kids mix everything, the best part. My husband and I occasionally have a night with our daughter (almost 5) once in a while where we do something special and her 17 month old brother stays with my parents (we alternate kids in these evenings, and there's absolutely zero lack of fun at their grandparents anyway). My husband and I saw the shop last time we were at the mall and because our daughter (and I) love slime, we thought we would surprise her with a trip after dinner. The woman helping us, her name is lost on me, (she was working the evening on 10/21/22), was so sweet. She was helpful (though my daughter and I are pretty familiar with slimes) and patient, happy to be there and nice. On the way out she told my daughter her slimed looked really great, which made my her super happy because the woman sounded very genuine .
