The specials to add on additional courses are cheap and your ticket never expires. They give out coupons for hole in ones, changing the qualifying ball color as people report one. We got a couple of scratch off tickets for Buy 3, get 3. That's a $12 savings. Courses are simple enough for any age. They ask you play in groups of 4 to keep the pace moving. Score cards and pencils given. Snacks available for purchase. Arcade includes air hockey and pool table. Birthday space available. Plenty of parking for visitors. A friend had attempted to organize a private party at the space, but no one ever picked up the phone, returned phone calls, or responded to digital messages. So we just went on an evening with an open skate. It was inexpensive, it was a ton of fun, and there were hordes of children and young people. Of course. But again, we had attempted to organize a private party but management was unreachable. So we were a little cranky but dealt with it. Surprisingly busy, but it didn't feel crazy crowded. I'd go back, especially if a private event or some adult-only nights made it to be a thing!

In Taylorsville, KY. The owner, Brian King is a really nice guy. He knows what he's doing, knows how to talk to kids (of course being a dad helps a lot) and keeps the store so clean! We had eight 7 year olds in the building and they really had a great time! But all of the children there today, not just the ones there for the birthday party, had 1 if not 2 parents there with them today. I have to say that the dads really looked like they were having the best time of their lives. Noah's Mom brought his favorites: Cupcakes, goodie bags and small cups of soft drinks or bottles of water. There is a toddler area with ball pits and slides and things to do for those under 5. Right outside of this area is a handful of toddler arcade machines as well. There is an arcade with claw machines, air hockey, some arcade games and more. It's decent but it's not the main draw, nice it's available though. There is a dodge ball area, tons of trampoline space, basketball, ninja warrior courses (a bunch of them) and a zip line. The zip line is nice for even younger ages because it's not super high. You are roughly 6 feet in the air. A cool option is the rock climbing wall that has a few ninja warrior type wall climbs along with traditional holds. Lastly there is an indoor playground with lots of climbing and slides, ball pits and ball launchers. There is reasonably priced snacks and food, lots of areas for parents to sit and work or chill while their kids play. Lockers are available too and you can buy a lock from the front desk which is nice if you remember to bring it each time lol. Super looking forward to going back!

I thought "Cool". I'm not a golfer, but I'm not going to turn down a good time. Besides, I've been wanting to see how it turned out, especially after so many people in the area were whining about it going in and messing up their neighborhood. After looking around and watching others I decided that, while I'm not a golfer, that I could be at least as good as some of the others I saw. I'd gone golfing only once, it had been over 25 years since that ill-fated event. We were on the 2nd deck. It was the middle of December. Yes, it was cold, but there are some awesome heaters that kept you warm if you were basically behind the red line. Some asked me if I was cold when I went up to golf. I said "I'm from Michigan. I'm OK in short sleeves until it hits about 40°." This was a catered event, in that the food and beverage were provided by Top Golf. The food was surprisingly good for finger foods. The spinach/artichoke dip was astounding, and the mac & cheese was pretty stellar. Our server (whose name I didn't get) was ever-present and did a great job keeping the area clean and keeping up with our group as far as drinks went. The Golfing portion was actually pretty fun. There were a number of different types of games you could play and the scoring/tracking system was very highly sophisticated. Top Golf is an impressively large, expansive facility. We only got to see a portion of it, but I counted at least 3 bars and a gift shop. While I'm not much of a golfer, this trip to Top Golf was a lot of fun.
