We had a reserved party Sat, 7/13 for our Daughter turning 5. First, booking was very easy online, we also received emails leading up to the party to make adjustments, which was also easy. We arrived and were pleasantly greeted by our party host Adriane (sorry if it's misspelled) and Kassidy (sorry if it's wrong) who was in training. Adriane went down the whole party plans with us, our reservation, had the table set up and nicely decorated with a sign and my daughter's name, with table decorations and cups/plates/napkins. We were given the exact count of our game cards and wristband for the party girl. Adriane checked on us throughout and gave us friendly reminders about what happens next like when the food comes out, when Chucky comes out, dip n dots, how much longer the kids can play, where to redeem prizes. Adriane, along with the rest of the really kind and helpful staff danced with Chucky, sang HBD, and it was just so fun! Really appreciate our host, the venue, the game selections, game prizes, but also all the people working there on 7/13 from 12:30-3pm. Haven't been to CEC in a while but i'm glad we did for kids birthday party. The place was clean and wasn't insanely crazy with kids and families like Johns incredible. All the tables were booked for parties and staff was quick to set up party after party. Hostess Taliyah was very responsive to request throughout RSVP slot. She even followed up after the party was over while we were there playing games and trading in tickets. Guest loved the in-house made pizza and buffalo wings and celery. Kids loved the dip and dots ice cream and our Bundt cakes that we were able to bring in. Management was great to resolve any concerns or issues on the spot. Games were easy to use with the unlimited play wrist bands or cards that we purchased. We had so much fun taking our little one to Chuck E. Cheese even during Covid time! We played and had pizza. Cleanliness - 4/5. For the most part the whole area seemed to be clean and we saw a worker cleaning area's that others have recently played in as well. Customer Service - 5/5. The staff was friendly and nice. It's a lot different than when I remembered going to Chuck E. Cheese so it was nice that they explained how everything is now. I attended a couple of birthday parties at this location. First impression as we walked in, why does it smell in here? The whole place smelled like wet rags. I asked if they can leave the door open or open a window. Windows do not open and the door must be shut due to little kids running around. Most of the staff members seemed "out of it". We got the vibe that they didn't want to be working. Cashier Rene was not a people person. We asked assistance with machines (that barely were working), and were told someone will be here shortly. No one came after 10mins, 20mins.... and we gave up. It looked like there were issues with the food orders. The hosts for both of the parties I attended, were frustrated. Both hosts stated that they keep messing up our orders even after we've repeated it to them. The food tasted ok. However, there were a a few baskets of fries that were burnt. Crust on pizza were burnt and you can tell were over baked. Oh! Their cake that they have on site is not great. I can see why, parents decide to bring their own birthday cakes. I was recently there to celebrate my granddaughters birthday, and I am so mad at this place. I went to get one of the playing cards before they were able to get the ones my granddaughter would get. I know I'm of the older groups but they charged me for 4 of the cards and I got one. I realize places are trying to get as much money from you as they can but 144.00 dollars for 1 card, come on now. Then when I tried to explane it to them they basically have said to bad so sad. For that much I could have had another party which I would have if they weren't to mean about it, especially when I have 2 more grandchildren who could have chosen this place. Today we visited this location for our good friends, twins birthday party. I was amazingly surprised at the cleanliness first of all. But I mostly want to compliment the staff on their amazing customer service. Shanay made sure first hand to take care of any small issue in a timely and efficient manner, even while training a new employee. She went above and beyond several times during our visit to make sure everything went smoothly and that every member of our party was happy and taken care of. I brought my kids to play here 1/19/25. The place was very busy and the tables was very dirty.They had a new worker at the register that didn't know much so the line took long because she needed help. I see two workers cleaning the birthday area which wasn't very dirty but the regular tables was full of trash. I had to clear and clean my own table. I do see that they are hiring but even in short staff you make use of what you have to maintain operation. Love the new trampoline! read more

Had my daughter's bday yesterday 05/04. When arrive there it was super busy, i tried going 15 minutes earlier to decorate the tables i reserved which I wasn't able to because the previous parties where still there which i understand.. it was already 5:30pm and my guest arrived still no tables yet, mind you i reserved it from 5:30-7:30. few minutes went by and a tall girl with glasses cleaned a table out for us. Everything was still dirty so some of my guest decided to help clean a little bit.. We just had my son's 4th birthday here. Talking with Rocky and Benjamin made the party easy to plan. They explained expectations and issues we should plan for. Benjamin was the supervisor during the party. He was absolutely amazing and really knows how to please a customer. He's a talker but that's alright because he has great information to share. He really made the party a great experience for the kids and the parents. All 17 kids seemed to have had a great time and we received many compliments. We did the unlimited games for 2 hours package. Set up late by 25 min (paid for 2 hours but lost 25 min) , cards not working, decor not available but they took my money and told me there's nothing they can do. I haven't been to Chuck E. Cheese for 20 plus years lol I came here for my nephews birthday and they seem to have a blast! I think if you have a birthday party, they go by time slots bc each party will receive their cake and pizzas at the same time (~12pm). As for the cards I believe you bay by time instead of having to buy coins for the games. The pizza was surprisingly pretty good! The stuffed cheese crust was the best part. Very filling! The location has great parking. The staff was very nice and wiped down the games and stuff. The only downfall we had was that it was very warm inside. Staff said the people who were suppose to fix the AC kept delaying it and that's why it was hot. We left early because of that issue and our kid was sweating and face turning pink. The games were great for children and the games didn't give out a lot of tickets so you'll have to keep playing in order to win bigger prizes. read more

The service was absolutely wonderful and the pizza was delicious!!! We were so surprised at how delicious that pizza was. More importantly, the birthday party was amazing and all the kids were so happy. So I took my grandsons here today, age four and five years old and they had a really good time playing the games but that is about the only positive things I can say for this place. We got there when they opened and the place was really just not clean pretty gross actually so I don't know why I decided to order us food. I paid $11 for a salad and upon walking to the salad bar, every single item in the bar was rotten. The workers response to me was well. I didn't get my shipment yet. So you're just gonna poison us in the meantime.? I then asked her to refund my money for the salad which she did after expressing that it was kind of going to be a pain in the butt that she would have to cancel out my first order and blah blah blah so I guess the moral of the story is if you want to spend 100 bucks in one hour so your kids can play a few video games then this is your place if you're looking for a place that serves food that can that can pass a health department inspection. Wow. Not impressed one bit. It was the first time bringing my 7 year old to any Chuck E. Cheese. When we walked in we had no clue that we could only buy the card with money on it to play games and couldn't even purchase them from a human. There were no signs before getting in line to know that as a first timer. We got out of that line and went to the machines to pay and get a card. After trying to figure it out the machine said it doesn't give change, so we went back to the line to wait and ask for change. We finally get up there and the guy says he cannot give us change since his drawer wasn't open. He told us to wait in another line where someone was ringing people up. (Only one worker at each station - one on food/main register + one at prize counter) we waited a while and then noticed what looked like a manager walked up and was getting some girls some change so we walked back up to him and asked for change. Once we got change we went back to the machine to finally get a card to play. Cards- purchase time limits or values. I'm not sure what each machine costs to play so we just opted for the timed card. We purchased 45 mins but bought 10 more for $2 for a total of 55 mins. Machines- this place is a mad house and doesn't have enough machines for the people they allow in to play as well as there is not room to move around the machines and people. All machines have cards swipers and are easy to use but take a few swipes to register each time and only about a quarter of the machines had tickets left in them. Many machines were completely broken, jammed or out of service for ticket replenishment. No one was on the floor helping refill machines with tickets and fix machines. I even had to leave a machine that had over 100 that was supposed to be paid out for me because I was tired of waiting for someone to help. Even when we went to the ticket eating machines only 3 out of all of them were working!!! Finally got the tickets counted then had to go stand in another 30 minute line to redeem it at the prize counter. It was a crazy madhouse and was NOT fun! Prizes- they allow you to pay cash 1cent for 1 ticket to get a prize that you may not have enough tickets for. The smaller prizes are pretty crappy but for 800+ you can start to get something decent a kid would enjoy. Balls, gum ball machines, gold metal necklaces, spin tops, etc. all the way up to some pretty expensive prizes! Overall the place was a pig-stye and I couldn't even imagine trying to eat there! As soon as we could get out of there we were out! And made sure to wash our hands well! As busy as it was, we saw what appeared to be the manager, and he was in a good mood however was not stepping up to help his crew service the customers. This ultimately lead to a discouraging trip that will amount to us probably not returning for a while if at all in the future. At least my kid said he had a good time! Update: I had my sons birthday party here and Charles (our party host) was awesome! Very attentive and had a smile on his face the entire time. Very helpful and made our party experience. He deserves a raise! He is the only reason I'm raising the stars on my review. I still experienced broken machines, long lines and disgruntled employees (Charles was such a breath of fresh air in comparison to the girl doing prizes)! Ordered a sampler and a pizza , sampler came out first and fries were raw ! Asked to cook correctly and they only took fries off and put through oven again , which made them some come out burnt. Not a bad CEC location. Small but very cozy in a way. I liked that they are serious about their covid protocols. I like this location because every time I come here it's empty. Almost like we have the whole place to ourselves which is cool but probably bad for business. My most recent visit was not good. Ordered food and it took 30 minutes to get to me. The order was wrong but I ended up taking it anyways because we were hungry. Excited to eat the food only to find out the chicken wings were cold. Not warm but cold. The fries had burnt tips like it was in the oven but were cold also with no salt. Pizza was ok but just warm. The only thing that was hot was the garlic cheesy bread. I told the guy at the counter the chicken and fries were cold and he didn't care to make it right. All he said was "welp there's some young cooks back there" still learning I guess. If they're not qualified and learning At least have someone back there supervising and teaching how to make food properly before they make someone sick. They are open for takeout and with all their advertisements I thought I'd give it a try. When I called to order, the employee was extremely cheery and the order was ready so fast! When I got there they had a great social distancing protocol in place and I didn't have to hand my card over and the food was placed in the warmer for me to grab so no physical contact was made. Again, the man working was so cheerful it put a smile on my face. The pizza itself was great! Very garlicky crust and surprisingly delicious! Ok I've been to many Chuckee's and this place doesn't even deserve a 1star review. The manager Big Ben is the rudest person I've came across in a long time. His customer service skills are a slap in the face. The prices are ridiculous. Don't go to this location. The game varies are old and half of them don't work properly. The poor staff looked like sad animals in the zoo. We felt bad for the young men and women that had to work under that Big Ben guy. Like who has a name like Big Ben? It's a kids place not prison. Best Location in the Bay Area. Lots of working games, All you can play options, good crowd and friendly staff. What shined were the FUNCTIONAL ANIMATRONICS!!! This place has gone down hill. I walked in and it smelled like throw up. It tools me 23 minutes to get someone to help me place a food order because the app wasn't working. They sell you salad bar then after you pay and they give you the salad plate they say they are out of forks. 6 out of the 12 drinks are all water. The games take your money(points) they don't work or pictures don't come out. The pizza was burnt and hard. The lady working the register had no idea how to even place my order. I'm very disappointed. It seemed like a waist of 76 dollars. The bathrooms had no toilet paper. That took me 10 minutes to even get someone to look for toilet paper then it took them forever to give me the toilet paper. read more
