My mother bought my son [2yo] a summer pass and then an annual pass and we only go to this location. We love it! We go for the toddler rides and the interactive games for family fun. We always get pizza and the salad bar. We even recently booked his winter birthday party there. The staff is wonderful! The facility is clean. It's not immaculate but it is perfect for a couple hours a week or so to entertain our kiddo and have an easy meal. read more

My has Chuck E. Cheese changed. They still have the surprisingly good pizza, child accountability when you are leaving, and available for birthday parties. However, it is run more like an indoor amusement park now. You can purchase timed unlimited game usage or points. There are no more tickets to lug around the place. The number of tickets you collect are stored on your card. They have gone ticketless and have shifted to a more electronic operation. My little ones loved this place. I gave them an hour of unlimited, and that was perfect. They really liked the interactive dance floor, the picture booth, and the ghost buster game. They also liked the Chuck E. Cheese car and the big piano. Yeah, the toys and candy that you can purchase with your tickets are pretty cheap and you could probably get most of the obtainable ones at the dollar store. I get it, it is kind of a rip off. But as long as the littles are happy that is acceptable for me. The place is clean and they have a wide range of games that are suitable for all ages. You and your kids get matching ultraviolet stamps, which they check on the way out to make sure you are leaving with the child you came with. They have been doing this for years and glad to see that they are continuing to do so. They are always available for birthday parties, even though I think it would have to be a small party due to the size of the place. I know that the Cheese has had its financial issues, but I like where they are headed. They have adapted and been providing good year round family fun for as long as I can remember. Definitely not the "Show Biz" I remember as a kid, you know, with the animatronic band, creepy mouse, dirty games, and meh pizza. (Fond memories none the less) We went for a 5 year old birthday party when they first opened. We got a card that you swipe at the games instead of using coins which is nice. All the games seemed clean and the establishment was very clean overall. Thankfully they got rid of the ball pit. I assume due to Covid, but not missed by this girl, ha! At certain times Chuck E. Cheese came out and celebrated with the birthday boy. Took pics with all the kids, and encouraged dancing and singing. We had pizza, which was delicious, especially the sausage one. They also service a variety of drinks- lemonade, fruit punch, and water. They brought out trays of little cups of different flavors of dip n dots for dessert. It was definitely a nice experience and my 4 year old loved it! We will be back for sure. read more

I was a little confused when I found out our friend was having a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese--mostly because I thought this location closed years ago--but I was pleasantly surprised. I can't speak to the non-party experience, but in general the place is really clean, no creepy animatronics (but a looping video that gets old after a little bit -- sorry parents!), and I love that the games are time-based instead of money-based. Parties get a straight amount of time, but if you come individually you can pause your time if you need a break which is a surprisingly nice touch. (That way you can let your kids play for a little bit and bring them back to the table for dessert or something later, without losing play time you've paid for.) Prizes are (not surprisingly) way overpriced, but I like the idea of being able to pay the difference if your kid is a few tickets short but has their eye on something. But too much of a difference and you're better off trying to get them to the store instead. Pizza was really good, and the Dippin' Dots cups were a really nice touch. I never thought I'd say this, but I might host our kid's next party here based on this experience. read more

I never thought I'd be doing a review of Chuck E. Cheese, especially with a 9 year old, but here I am. As a PTO officer, Chuck E. Cheese was a dine 2 donate fundraiser. Believe it or not, they are pretty generous in their contribution, plus you can add up spending pretty quickly with games. I like their stamping idea and their diligence in checking parent/child upon exit. They have a gluten free pizza that doesn't taste like it came straight from a box. The main area server was friendly in telling me where things were located and making sure kids were optimizing their chances at winning tickets. The location has been recently remodeled, which is much nicer than it was previously. The games are in such tight quarters though, which would make it quite difficult to navigate if there was a larger crowd than a weeknight evening that we attended. I'm glad The cashier was not aware of the game play special that I mentioned (after finding it online). The manager was walking around and seemed quite police and greeted patrons. I have to say the prizes are an absolute joke and that's probably a corporate thing. My daughter won over 500 tickets and that got her ONE regular size airhead. As a parent who doesn't want another junk stash, I was still quite disappointed in that option. The cashier ended up giving her roughly 10 smaller sized ones. Not sure how those equate to one another, but still; the prizes could use some work. Overall, there's some definite improvement. I think Chuck E. It's been forever since I've been to a Chuck E Cheese's. I took my nieces and nephew there recently and I have to say I was underwhelmed. They have removed all of the ball pits and tunnels that used to go all across the ceiling and replaced them with electronic games. I was pretty sad to see those things gone. The kids had a great time. You get cards and they swipe them over the games to play. They get so much time on their card, so basically you have unlimited swipes in the allotted time. The staff is why I'm giving it a 3. It's fine if they want to hire high school kids, but they have to address the attitudes. All of them weren't friendly to the kids, didn't help when they were trying to choose their prizes. They just looked like they hated their life being there. Which again, I get it's a job, but at least pretend you're nice to kids. I'll definitely be taking them back because they love it so much. Just really wish the staff had a more welcoming feel. read more

My four year old son and I showed up tonight for a birthday party at the location on US 31 S in Indianapolis/Greenwood, and the problems started from the moment we walked in the door. We stood at the gate and waited for several minutes without being acknowledged - no easy feat with a four year old. Another couple showed up after us for another party and were also waiting to be checked in. The attendant was making cotton candy, finished a bag, looked at us, and went back to what he was doing without so much as an acknowledgement. Finally I walked in, asked him if we needed stamps, and he stamped the three adults with the same number, but not my child. I tried again to get his attention, but was ignored. My son was chomping at the bit, but I knew he needed a stamp, so I had to divert his attention to go to the snack bar and ask the attendant there. She initially tried to give him the same number as me and these strangers before giving us new stamps. Finally we're in! I purchase an hour of unlimited play only to find that most of the games were broken, and the ones that were working often weren't giving tickets or were giving the wrong number. For example, we won a jackpot prize of 150 tickets, but it gave us 126. I won another jackpot prize of 80 on another machine and it gave me zero. The air hockey table was missing the puck. There was also no clear indication that you could only pause time once, so we forfeited a lot of time since there was no real flow of order to the party. Eventually it was time to feed our tickets into the counting machine, but it wasn't counting correctly. Sometimes we'd put in 5 tickets and get zero credit. The 126 I mentioned earlier only counted 123. The final total was 523, though it was short. We took our measly prizes and left facing confusion about our numbers not matching. It's not surprising that the prizes are crap, but these were really garbage. It was a complete waste of money and the disregard for my child's safety is really upsetting. read more

This was my second experience at a Chuck E. Cheese. The arcade games were the only good part. The staff was not super friendly. In fact when I was getting some cotton candy I noticed the staff member handing them to customers was under the weather and sneezed on one of the bags. I absolutely will not put up with the lousy food, trashy rude parents, obnoxious noise, and mess that is Chuck E. Cheese's, no matter which relative/friend's kid's birthday it is. I love the pizza! While we do not drink while here, they do offer adult beverages, by way of beer. We have just as much fun as the kids do spending tokens. The salad bar has a great selection and everyone is super nice. Rarely do we have problems with the machines or any machines out of order. It's a great hangout for family days :) read more

I haven't been to chuck's in a few years. While I am impressed with the BBQ chicken pizza, I am unimpressed with the prices. It's a bit pricey. I recommend the package deals they have. The cheesy breadsticks are also good. But $6.99 for a salad bar that is little more than salad, and when I don't get any other plates (reuse the same one), it's rather steep. I am much appreciative of the number system thing they have, where kids can't leave without matching an adult's number. I feel comfortable sitting here and just letting my nieces spend their coins. I also like that it is light in here, unlike the "incredible pizza company" (rip, incredible pizza company. My nieces loved you). If I hadn't spent a zillion dollars on pizza, breadsticks, salad bar, drinks and tokens, I may have had a beer here. I was kinda afraid to ask what kind it was (not openly advertised). read more

The staff was very friendly, pizza was fresh and we went on a Tuesday morning and it wasn't super crowded. Very clean. The reviews made me kind of worried taking her to this one but so glad we went. The food is middle of the road (again, feeding a army of 8000 mutant children doesnt require a culinary degree) However, the experience overall is pretty legit and the fact that all the games are a quater is tough to beat. When we went to turn in the few tickets we had the woman, who I believe was a manager, began counting our tickets then stopped and told us to put them in the machine. Of course the machine did not work and just ate up our tickets. When we told them what happened the cashier, who never smiled, and the a manager just walked away. Thankfully there was a young gentleman there who was doing everything from running food orders to helping the maintnence man fix machines and he made it right for us and apologized. This chuckie cheese was awful. Most of the games were out of order. We ordered a sample platter and the boneless wings were terrible. We were not even asked which one we wanted was just given the most pricey one. The cheese sticks were terrible. Not worth the 75.00 that we paid. Which included 150 tokens but since half the games were out of order or didn't give us our tickets we decided to just forget spending the rest and leave. Another thing chuckie didn't even walk the crowd so kids could have their pictures with him. I will not visit this location again. read more

I planned a birthday party here for my son and nephew. The parking situation is horrendous! Everyone enjoyed the pizza which was nice. There were few annoyances concerning the party. First of all, our "party host" went on break at the very beginning of the party and we didn't see her for almost an hour. The birthday party area tables are so close together it is impossible to move around or even get comfortable. I ordered two cakes so that each boy could blow out the candles. When cake time came they brought out one cake with candles and they were cutting the other one. The ice cream was soup as well. I do want to compliment the manager who came to me about the issues, I did not have to seek her out and complain. They did not charge us for the cakes or any of the drinks. They also gave the kids free tokens and tickets. I understand that every business is going to have hiccups but a manager like that is priceless. My son said while we were leaving "Chuck E Cheese is a blast momma! ". So the party was successful in my book. read more
