Shared parking lot with other businesses. Sadly don't leave your food to go play a game with your kid as they took a full piece of pizza that was on a pizza dish (and the dish) and left our torn up pieces on plates at our table that had our coats. Who does that? If it wasn't that somehow my kids still managed to have fun and I felt semi-safer because they stamp parents and kids hands the same design and check on the way out so you can't leave with someone's kids I would give 1 star. read more

I pay monthly for the pass and I think it's worth it however, most times a lot of the games are down and when you do play, it takes forever to rack up points or tickets. The games feel rigged. Also the customer service or ambiance, I pulled up today and you have three or four of the workers (men of course) outside smoking and talking right in front of the place (for kids). One man walked out and spit right on the ground in front of the place and I'm like people have to walk in. I'm parked right out front and have to smell the cigarettes with my 3 year old! Now lastly, I'm not sure if these workers serve or Make the food but hygiene is a big problem! Their hands (nails) are black from smoking, (I assume), one person is missing teeth and the other had a mouth filled with green and black looking plaque! Like who would want someone serving them like this?! It's so unsanitary! Last issue is yes everything is overpriced! I believe if you are paying for a monthly pass you should receive the jumping wristband as well but no you have to pay for that separate! The problem is like today I have paid the extra fee for my child to jump but the area is closed and no workers there to supervise! So you waste money!! All in all Chuck E. We had the absolute worst experience at Chuck E. Cheese last night on Hurstbourne Pkwy! We made reservations for the Mega Fun Package for our son's birthday! When we get there they didn't have anything together at the front desk and asks as if they have no clue what was going on. I give the names, try to show my confirmation number, they don't even bother to check it, the lady was cussing and they were very unprofessional! She asked how many kids and adults I tell her. They finally get him rung in and give us our bands and I double checked with the lady that we would have a table in the back. She informs me yes, but the host that we're supposed to have will be back and forth and won't be at the table the entire time. I say ok that's fine. We head back to the back and they already have our son's name at the end of the table, second red flag, because how do you not know anything and don't have anything together up front yet you have a table with his name on it. We were never greeted at the table by a host, instead they were walking around sweeping the floors, the table had dirty gloves on them, trash under our table, my Mama had to ask for them to clean the table! After us being there for awhile, they finally come and ask us what we want to drink. Now, on the app and website when making reservations it asks how many adults and how many children, because of course you have to pay a fee for the adults which I paid online! They only had plates and the part cups for the kids. When I went up to ask for cups for the adults they literally said oh you have to pay for those, and I told the lady I did all of that online, she proceeds to say well they don't take off for the adults online, I said then why do they ask how many and then charge me for it then! I told them I refused to pay out more money when we already had spent a lot! It wasn't the purpose of not having the money it was the principal of I did it online, and then when the lady at the front desk was checking us in I told her the same thing! They didn't bring plates out for us to eat on when they brought the pizza out, never came back to see if we needed a refill on our drink pitchers, never even brought the stuff for us to cut the cake, which I had already asked the lady and it wasn't part of the package. They never gave us the dip n dots we were supposed to get, my son never was able to the little ticket thing that they offered in the package, never got his collectible Chuck E. Cheese Tote Bag. The general manager opened the little jump thing and left the kids unsupervised and it was a mess, yes before anyone says anything we watched out kiddos while on there! They were very rude to my Mother in Law when she went to ask for plates, yet while she waited she wanted them five cups away at random to other adults while she told her we'd have to pay for ours. So they made an announcement about the time they were closing, so we gathered all of our kiddos and went to the front so they could cash out their points and get their prizes! My kids literally was at the prize counter for over 15 minutes, not one single employee ever came to help them. We talked to 5 different employees about it and the first girl who was right there was rude, the second guy acted like he didn't hear my Mama talking to him and legit turned and walked off after she asked him, and the third lady acted like she was clueless, which is the same lady that worked the front counter, so we asked the lady upfront again and she acted like she had an attitude and was going to get someone, but we literally watched her talk to the other employee and they laughed, yet we still didn't get help, then the other lady that worked upfront literally looked at us and turned and went the other way! They made an announcement while looking at us that they weren't doing the prizes because they closed, I said they've literally been waiting for over 15 minutes now and yall have acted like they didn't exist! So we saw someone getting the dip n dots so I my kiddos had asked and I told them to go ahead because it was in our package, and the lady rudely comes up there and tells them they can't and I said they've literally can because it's in our package, the lady before them just did the same thing, she said well an employee has to do that and I said well yall haven't done your freaking jobs all night and now you want to start. At this point we are extremely livid and I told my kids to let's go because we were about to lose our crap and my family was in town and I tried to keep my cool in front of my family and the other people that were leaving. So I turned and apologized to the lady and her child that was behind us for using bad words but I just explained to her how upset we were because of how we were done and they had a bad experience as well! We couldn't talk to the manager because he left, I've tried calling already this morning, and will be going higher up as well! It was an absolute terrible experience!! read more

Although CEC opened this week, when we called about their carry out pricing promoted on the website they honored the prices. We appreciated this and after picking it up, even more so. The pizza is less thrilling than I remember it and ours was browned quite a bit on the top which dries out the thin cheese. The mozzarella sticks are just as I remember and with marinara sauce for dipping, and the pretzel bites were good. You get quite a few in the order, bite size to share and with cheese dipping sauce. For a deal under $17, it made a quick, easy dinner. The associate answering the phone was lovely for even offering to check on the pricing. When my husband went inside he reported only 2 families were there, having entire areas and the games to themselves. It's going to be an obstacle for CEC to keep those buttons and controllers sanitized but I'm rooting for them. Love it or hate it, many of us were raised by the big mouse and his friends. read more

Walked in here to meet a friend and her son. They come here a lot since they live close by. I hadn't been to one of these places since I lived in Tennessee! As an adult, the place still looks huge with tons of games. Everything is shorter than I remember. I'm too tall to play most stuff. You can get a $5 off deal for 100pts to play games for $20 if you go to the register instead of using the self service machine. They use a card instead of the token coins to play the games now. Fabulous! I relived memories and played a few games, some of which were easy and some of which were still kinda hard! As we stayed until 12:30, more people came in with kids. Still, it was the middle of the day and the lady at the counter told me they're busier in the summer when kids aren't in school. Apparently, they don't do pizza buffets anymore; only salad buffets for $8. If you want pizza, it's gonna cost you almost $20! Crazy! They're trying to be healthy, I guess. Even Chuck E. Where a kid can be a kid. We had a small birthday party for our grand daughter. They do a Military discount on a pizza combo. 2 large pizzas drinks and game cards for a cheap price. I was really surprised how good the pizza tasted one was just pepperoni the other loaded (to many olives). We also got boneless nuggets, bbq, spices, and regular for kids. We had a lot of extra food. The thing I really liked the most was the toddler time 11-3 only the little kids was there and my grandkids had the run of the place. We will be back they had a great time as did I. I end up at Chuck E Cheese's with my nieces and/or cousins a few times a year, and I have to say, it definitely becomes less exciting with age. However, that being said, it's been remodeled and revamped since I was a kid. They've updated the games and made it so that all ages can have fun playing some of the games. They modernized Chuck E and now he has a "cooler" look, which you've probably seen on TV. They don't have the creepy little closet, as I called it when I was a kid, where a robotic mouse just stood there and waved. Now they have an actual person in costume who goes out and dances with the kids at set times during the day. They did away with tokens and updated to cards, which sucks, but at least they still do actual tickets to turn in for prizes. The prices are ridiculously high for what you get. They used to have the BEST salad bar, but now it's just lettuce, dressing, and some croutons. Instead, they now have a pizza buffet, and it's almost always needing to be refilled. A regular sized drink (which is equivalent to a small drink at any other restaurant) comes separately, and costs over $2. Chuck E Cheese's is the place where a kid can be a kid, and the adults can watch their children spend all their "tokens" in about thirty minutes (if it even takes that long). The tunnels and ball pit seem to keep them occupied, though, once the tokens run out. The best time to go is when they first open and on weekdays because it's not too busy yet. It's a fun place to bring your kids every now and then, but there are definitely places in Louisville that are more fun that I would recommend. read more

Went to Chuck E Cheese again in October 2018 with my grandchildren who live in Kentucky. The place was virtually empty so they had the Entire establishment. This time we bought an armband which let them play as many games as they wanted for one hour. The day we went was half-price so grandma, me, was very pleased. The children won over 1000 tickets each and have decided to save them for another visit. I strongly suggest bringing your little ones there on a time limit rather than a game limit. We have been here twice over the last year and a half and it has gotten terrible. We will not be back. My child used to LOVE this place. It is no longer fun, happy, or worth the price hikes. We usually stay at least two hours and on both occasions Chuck e has not come out at ALL. (Which is what the kids really want) very sad. Games are always broken, every single machine that would take a picture was either broken or "out of paper". No fun music playing. Ordered a personal pizza (which we've ordered multiple times in the past) for my two small kids to share, and the pizza was MAYBE 6 1/2 inches in diameter and the "6 slices" were about 3" long. $ 8.50 now for this junk. Only one kid ate the pizza since it wasn't big enough to share and they were still hungry. Had to go home and feed both of them. Lettuce at the salad bar was out for a good 30 minutes. Very hard to find staff to ask to fill it back up. Saw a woman ask to have it filled and the staff rolled their eyes without a word and walked away to bring back the big bin full of lettuce. Fixed prices on how much you have to spend in order to get points. All in all it's turned into a very expensive time for absolutely nothing. Booked a party for my sons 6th birthday. When we first walked in the employee at the register was very nasty and rude. She seemed as if she didn't want to be there and took it out on everyone including myself, my child and the other kids I had with me. From the eye rolling, to the mean faces she was making and the huffing and puffing she kept doing to make us uncomfortable. After waiting for about 30 mins for a host we were told by the manager our party was canceled although the deposit had already came out of my bank account. The manager did everything in his power to make it right, and to ensure my son had a great time. If it wasn't for him I would've left and my son wouldn't have gotten to celebrate his birthday with his friends. The manager and the host who assisted w the party were amazing. However for some reason all my sweet baby could think about when we left was the way the girl at the register treated us. I wish that wasn't something that stuck with him. Would go back but not if that girl is there. If you hate your job find a new one. If you have something bothering you outside of work leave it at the door. read more

I haven't been to Chuck-E-Cheese since I was a little kid back in the early 90s. I took my three-year-old daughter here today on the location Hurstbourne Lane. And it was okay they got a bunch of games that basically look like who ones I played in 1991. Not a lot of updates places very crowded of course with kids everywhere. The thing I do like about Chuck E cheese is a stamp USA visible stamp when you come in and it's the same number for you and your child so that check it before you leave to make sure that who you came with is who you're leaving with. I do like that Safety First. We got the food and a large pepperoni pizza is very overpriced it was around 16 17 bucks and it just tastes like I got a Kroger frozen pizza basically. There is a lot more better options out there for kids to play instead of going to Chuck E cheeses. My daughter seems to really enjoy it but she's 3 years old and there's a walking around so she seems to enjoy that. I'll give my overall experience a three out of five don't really recommend it unless you have young children that just really want to play and then I'll give it a shot at least once. TIP: Always check their site for coupons first. Some of the "coupons" they show are deals they also offer at the place itself, but you can save several bucks this way. There are a slew of "get your kid 10 free tokens" certificates for good behavior, etc. that you can print from the website, using a max of 1 per kid. Chuck E. Cheese is expensive enough; if you're going to bring a couple little ones in you might as well get 5 bucks in free tokens by printing a couple pieces of paper. After spending a couple hours there I'm not only pleasantly surprised I plan on coming back. There were plenty of game options for all ages and a play area for kids not so interested in the games. Chuck E Cheese's is what it is people. I feel like maybe previous reviewers were expecting it to be more than a token arcade with cheap prizes, a dancing mouse, and mediocre pizza. This one is clean and has dozens of tables and games as well as friendly, helpful employees so they get a good rating from me. I make sure to give the kids lunch at home before we go, get on the website ahead of time to get coupons, and come on a weekday afternoon to minimize the unpleasant reality that a visit to Chuck E Cheese's is for adults. I have to ration their tokens over time, so the free climbing structure is a nice added resource for them to burn some time and energy between coin dispersals. I feel like I got everything I could reasonably expect on my visit and as a Chuck E Cheese's I recommend this location. read more

This is a nice and spacious Chuck E. Cheese's location. It has a decent amount of games for everyone to play. I did not get food here, but the games at this one were pretty fun and in good working order for the most part. I played the following games: - Wave Runner; worked 100% except that the hydraulics on the jet ski were not working. - Transformers: Human Alliance; kind of hard to play standing up, unlike the bigger deluxe version you see in high-end arcades. But 1 token to play--how can you complain? - SEGA Racing Classic; it's just Daytona USA without the license. Not much to say about good ol' Daytona. There was also Deadstorm Pirates from Namco, along with more redemption games and kiddie rides for little ones. You can also sing along with Chuck E. on his single-character animatronic stage while you pass the time. :) I would recommend the CEC in Louisville for kids who want to pass some time up playing arcade games. But it would be a good money saver to eat before you come, haha! read more

I oblige on birthdays and special occasions ONLY. For a family of 4, we use a coupon for a food/game combo: large one topping pizza, 4 drinks, and 100 tokens for $39.99 (online website). This will keep them happy and busy for 2-3 hours, and includes a visit from Chuck E Cheese (dance and ticket toss). If it's a child's birthday, tell the entrance employee who stamps your hand (for a birthday sticker and a few free tokens). Go online to print behavior incentive charts (website) to help your kids earn 10 game tokens (ex. Doing chores, good behavior, potty training, etc.). Overall, it's a fun time for smaller children, and my husband enjoys the games, too. I'd rate this establishment higher if the food was tastier, the games were all working/serviced, and they kept it cleaner. However, they do a pretty good job considering the hoards of children who regularly crowd this establishment. read more

I actually really like their pizza, the games almost all work every time we go, and I think it's nice that everything just takes one token. I love the hand stamping, I wish more kids places did this.
