Came here as a stop on our way home from upstate. My son loves to play the games. We have monthly bronze status so we get to go every day and get 40 points to play. We only played games. It was 4th of july so there was only one other family there. We had a good time. read more

We booked a event for my son's birthday party. This is our first and possibly last time organizing a party with Chuck E Cheese. Our table wasn't available until 20 minutes after the planned time. The table wasn't half dressed and we had to beg for plates and the cups we ordered. We didn't receive cups until a hour and 24 minutes in and they still gave us the wrong amount of cups and plates until half hour before the party ended. Our food was brought out late and they couldn't complete the full order due to supposedly losing our order ticket. One pie was brought out 15 minutes before our party ended. They didn't even get our wings sent together. One order of wings came out first and the other order was about a hour later after having to remind our hostess. We had to wait ten minute increments for each pie to come out. Our "dedicated" hostess had to be hunt down and looked pretty annoyed about us inquiring about our orders. We also had to beg for the party bags that's inclusive on our package and didn't get to do the ticket blaster. If you review camera footage you will see the disaster. This experience was horrible and everyone was very disorganized. The price we paid was a rip off for the services promised. 6 pies, 2 orders of extra large wings, and 20 cups should not have been that hard and we didn't receive some of the items. Worst part was everything was verified the day before by a party host over the phone. It was more like 2 hours of playing cat and mouse rather than 2 hours of fun. read more

I cannot believe I am doing this - giving 4 stars to Chuck E Cheese. I couldn't even believe I was going here, but at the suggestion of relatives, Chuck E Cheese was where we decided to meet up with them for a mini reunion. Gone are the disgusting ball pits and obnoxious games of yesterday and in are the fun arcade games along with some rides appropriately designed for toddlers- about 7 year olds (mini carousels, buses, cars, etc.). The arcade games include a full motion Jurassic Park shooting adventure, Halo, skee ball, various driving games, and so on. We genuinely had fun. The kids enjoyed the pizza, which, while not authentic NY pizza, was not a pre frozen cardboard one either. The background music is Kidz Bopz versions of modern songs and is at a completely acceptable level for it to not get on my nerves, most of the time I didn't even think about it. The pricing fix we did - and I recommend you do - is pay by the hour/minute, which allowed us an unlimited amount of games during the period we selected, and roughly worked out to 50 cents per minute, which I felt like we far exceeded that in amount of games played had we had to pay for them individually. Plus, you have a fixed cost and your kids can't run up your tab endlessly on you. The area itself was clean - sure - lots of kids touching things so wash hands thoroughly - but really - the staff kept the establishment clean. My only critique is it's a little under staffed - it took a solid 3-4 minutes before anyone noticed I was at the cash register looking to purchase something. read more

We took our two grandsons here. It was clean and with a coupon, $19.99 for one hour free play it was perfect. The only annoying thing is that you have to pay an extra $10 for the kids to jump in the trampoline area, which of course they wanted to do. That part was a ripoff. read more

Not really the best experience here today. Took my boys for some in the AC. EXCEPT it was hot in there. And crowded. And a lot of the games were broken. And a lot of the games ran out of tickets. And...lol The restrooms smelled like they havent been cleaned in a year. They have switched to timed play cards now, which is nice. The kids played as much as they wanted for a half hour for 12 bux. Pretty good deal. But the most frustrating part came at departure. We wanted to collect our "booty" won from the tickets, but they had 1 girl alone behind the counter and a full line of customers. I had to wait a full 15 minutes to cash out, or risk 2 very upset children. I dont blame the girl, she was hustling, but the management should realize theres an issue there. I saw a lot of people get aggravated at having to wait for the ticket prizes and just leave with unhappy kids. Still, i entertained 2 kids for almost an hour on 12 dillars... read more

I want to start this comment off by saying that Ayala is awesome. She's an employee who was kind and patient with my two nieces (2 and 6 years old). There's a lot of complaints at this location but at the end of the day, kids love it. It's not a place for adults to enjoy? I mean, there are several cool games for adults but overall it's for the kids. I do agree that the bathrooms are a bit problematic, though. When I visited over the summer, none of the female bathrooms locked so I had to hold the door shut for my older niece. I also saw a kid reach his hand in the salad bar area and no one replaced the grapes until I told them they were unsanitary. My nieces love coming here so I always make it an effort to bring them a couple times a year. read more

I have to say I'm a fan of this place. This location has a nice mix of arcades and those ceiling tubes the kids love to crawl in. The birthday party area is decent in size and the view is unobstructed so if your child runs off, chances are good you can keep a decent eye on them from the distance. My only issue with this location is that the "kid check" can be flawed. While staff is supposed to be checking the children walking out with the adults there are times the employees walk off and parents naturally don't want to wait around and simply leave with children in hand. I think the purpose of the check is defeated if it's not done properly. read more

If you're a kid, this is a great place. If you're an adult then it's two steps away from a circle of hell. Rides are appropriate for the age they're targeting and the staff seems friendly enough. Not terribly clean, but what kid focused place is? Also, going to Chuck E Cheese expecting to find award-winning food and service is just foolish. This place sucks!! Even on a child's level. The children are obnoxious and horribly mannered. Parents are just as bad. My grandson nearly got trampled when chuckie threw the tickets. Parents and kids alike were diving for these tickets!! Like it was gold. A little boy approached us and said he didn't want his tickets and threw them in my grandson's face, then a bunch of children pushed my 4 year old out of the way to get the tickets. 2 times in 10 minutes my grandson was nearly hurt!! The teenagers that work here could care less. We ordered food for my grandson and my granddaughter, 45 minutes to get chicken nuggets, they were so burnt that they were unable to eat them. We had to complain over and over that our food had not come out and the kids were hungry and then did not get to eat it after paying over $45 for food, it was so disgusting that they couldn't eat it. We did a VIP party package on a Sunday morning. Everything went smoothly and the kids had a great time.

We frequent this location as my son is a big fan of the games and pizza. We had his birthday there this year, it was handled very well and I thought they did a good job. You can't expect much from the food here, it is Chuck E Cheese, you're not getting Gordon Ramsey's beef wellington. The pizza is edible and exactly what you expect from Chuck E Cheese. My only hiccup with this location is there is always a handful of games/activities that are out of order. Also there was 1 other party during my sons party and they have 6 rows of tables but put the two parties at the tables next to each other, making it more crowded than it had to be for the adults and children. Overall this place is handled well, I've gone here multiple times and haven't had an issue whenever I've gone. Oh and if you're an adult male, they only have children height urinals, so unless you plan on peeing on your knees, you're going to have to use the stall. read more

Though the kids might rate this 5 stars, this is my review. :) I have never been to a Chuck E Cheese before and only had a rough idea of what to expect. We were greeted by a helpful employee who seemed accustomed to handling parents with overexcited children and complete confusion over the protocol for enjoying the place. He told us exactly what to do and even answered the kid's questions patiently and with a smile. The place is like a Las Vegas casino floor for kids, except more noises, more blinking lights, brighter carpeting and of course opportunities to spend more money. (Sadly absent were the free grown up drinks.) The coin system for playing games was simple and organized. The kids loved holding the coins and choosing which game to play. The seating areas are within play area and it is easy to relax at a table while keeping an eye on the kiddos. On a day I was about to pull my hair out, this was a great solution for playing on a rainy day, which we had far too many of this summer. Though is was very busy, we never waited in line and it was actually nice to have other kids around for socialization. It's definitely on my list for the next time I need to tire the kids out. With all the different noises, other kids, bright colors and excitement to be had, the rest of the day was a breeze. read more

Wow, this place looks completely different from when I used to go here with my baby sister (another Yelp elite gal now!) Back in the 90s. I was pleasantly surprised when I brought my daughter here for her 3rd birthday this past Sunday. It has a very open layout, where previously the dining area with the characters was closed off and made it darker. There is a lot more seating now and the crawl tube thing is tinier and there is more room for fun games for the kids. It seems that the room is broken up into games for older kids (and even adults) towards the right when you walk in and games for smaller kids on the left when you walk in. The staff was very pleasant. We had a great time! The pizza was great, and the food selection actually wasn't too bad for what you come for. I really liked that they stamp you and the kid you come in with with a number that has to match up before you leave with them. Puts parents at ease. I didn't like how all the tables even remotely close to the characters were 'reserved' for hours even though no one came in. But once Chuck E. Came out and danced around and threw tickets for the kids to catch, my daughter was in pure bliss. And on a toddler's 3rd birthday, isn't that all that matters? read more

Ok first of all it's Saturday night, there are maybe 4 families here and the staff is nowhere to be found. The floors near the counter are disgusting. I've waited over an hour for 1 pizza and the manager claims the ticket fell and the pizza maker "forgot" to make my order. Now I'm waiting at the counter for more points and the counter girl disappeared. Not sure what's going on but they need to really get some people in here that have a personality. read more

Words can't describe today's experience at Chuck E. Cheese in Poughkeepsie NY. To be honest, I had no idea this shit-show of an establishment was still on its two feet, and to be quite frank, this Poughkeepsie one was barley that. The walls were crumbling, the floor was giving out, even the waitress stumbled and mentioned to us saying she has never had that happen before. We waited exponentially long for our disappointing pizza, which was all but good. Cold, pretty sure it is glue in the crusts and not cheese, and it was clear as day that something was just off with the pizza. I know this because 3/4 of us came home and yacked like all living hell. We tried the ranch dressing as well, and I can PROMISE that this was spoiled, I have never tasted anything worse in my entire life, and I am NOT joking. I found a crawfish in it I think. What a mess. Highlight of the trip was easily seeing Chucky come out of the closet, and getting a picture with the man himself. Overall, amazing trip; laughed, cried, had out of body experiences, impending doom thoughts, and to top it all off: yacked. Be back in a week. read more

Day of Family Fun! My husband, Oswald, and my three kids (ages 4, 7, 12) and I went to Chuck E Cheese's. The kids got food poisoning from the pizza and clogged up the bathroom. We had to leave the kids there while we got stuff from the mall to clean them up. On a positive note, my kids won 100,000 tickets!! They got a few gum balls and two bouncy balls. I will never take my kids back here, you would think the bathrooms would be up kept considering children are here all the time but it's unreal how dirty it is. This my first visit to Chuck E. Cheese, though my kids have been before. I worked for 8 years in management of similar facilities. I shied away from bringing my own kids for the obvious reasons that was quite familiar with - crowds, cleanliness, expense. Plus I'd heard bad things. As I said, my kids had been before and begged me to bring them. I promised we would come in the Summer on a weekday when it wasn't too busy. That day was today and I must say, I'm quite impressed. The staff was friendly, the facility was clean, the pizza was decent, the salad bar looked good (though I didn't have any) and Chuck E. made a few appearances, always playful (as a matter of fact he just mocked me typing on my phone. If he only knew what I was typing!) Most impressively, I knew the games were 1 token each, unheard of in 2013, but has no idea they were so modern and impeccably maintained. I saw the technician around and the manager testing the games. Everyone from the greeter, to food service, to Chuck E. himself was spot on! A great value all around! Kudos. We will be back again ... Though maybe not on a Saturday! I spoke to the manager myself and he said he has worked hard to turn it around the past 3 years. Give it another go! read more

We had our first visit today. We waited about 15 minutes in front of the register before we were acknowledged because there was only one staff member working the register AND prize counter.. And it was busy. We were going to order lunch but I saw the food sitting at the buffet and decided to pass.. Pizza dried out and the edges curling up. Instead we used a coupon on the website for 100 "tokens" for $20. The guy working was very friendly when he got around to helping us so I give him credit for that - I probably wouldn't have been as cheery if I were in his position. But seriously, this guy needed some help. There isn't a large selection of games, but enough to keep a 5 year old entertained for an hour. The game area was clean but the bathrooms are another story. Garbage overflowing, paper towels on the floor. The paper towel dispenser wasn't working so there was a soggy roll of paper towels on the counter instead (gross). Some of the other customers were rude and acted like they owned the place. A shame because I think this is the only Chuck E. Cheese in the area. All in all, the place is okay. We'll be back because my 5 year old had a blast, so there's that. read more

It's should be on every man's bucket list to be taken out of Chuck E. Cheese in cuffs, I'm not saying that happened to me, but all I am saying it is frowned upon if someone were to jump into the ball pit landing on a slightly obese toddler. And what in the hell was with that giant ass mouse running around getting all up in my grill. It would've been a fade on sight if little Timmy hadn't jumped in the way taking the hit for him. One thing I did learn, was that Chuck E. Cheese is a hot spot for picking up single moms across the map. The only bad thing about the pizza was that it was too much Chuck and not enough Cheese, and the soft drinks were hard. I couldn't help but squeeze my way in through the tubes trying to go down the Chucky fun slide and into the seas of the ball pit. If you take out the giant mouse, the bad pizza, the screaming toddlers, the impossible ski ball machine and add more attractive single moms in the area, I'd be a happy man. read more

Came here today, I have been here once more years ago... and today I was actually impressed In how helpful, nice, friendly, professional all four employees were. They did things with a smile too! We got there around 11:35 and it was nice and quite on a Wednesday! At the time one other family was there! Also it was clean in there!! They stamp you and your kids hands with a number stamp. I'm always close to my kids, but you never know so this is being really safe on their part. Anyway we purchased 15 dollars of tickets, after that the kids wanted more, so I purchased 5 dollars more which gave them 16 more games/rides! The down side the games/ rides do go fast and the food we got was expensive for what it was. I got both my kids two small pizza pies each. Now my son who is only 2 and half left one small piece and he was full. My daughter grabbed that piece real fast! She needed one more piece to be filled up after her pizza pie. She is eight and I would say one small pie is like one regular slice of pizza. Both these pies cost 17 with one water bottle. We stayed for about one hour and half. My son loved the dancing characters they have on the stage . He watched them has he ate. At the end they picked out a prize with their tickets they got from the games and they really did have a great time! That is what matters! Seeing them happy makes me happy!
