A little gem right in the city of Poughkeepsie. All I can say is super reasonable prices and they deep fry their calzones. No more need be said except I am going to say more. I got the fried calzone. I have never had such a delicious chock full calzone with buffalo chicken like at Gino's. It was so good AND the sauce is delicious. I can't wait to get it again. The rest of the fam had either chicken or veal parmigiana dinners that they all loved. Some of our peeps got the oil and garlic pasta and they loved it because they put in lots of delicious garlic. The way it works is that you order at the counter and then the waitress brings your food to the table. The service was great and the place is clean with plenty of parking. It's not fancy but so good. Yum yum.

A decent pizza joint. Been coming here for years. They have much more to offer just besides pizza.

We love this place. Owner is super friendly and accommodating. My wife is vegan and they have a great vegan cheese to use on their pizza. I am not vegan. I got a large with pesto sauce with sausage. The crust is awesome! Highly recommended!

The best food on Main Street in Poughkeepsie.I bring my family and friends there to eat. Every one enjoys the food.

We loved this place and used to order allot and enjoyed it. We understand the economy but the prices are too high shouldn't you get at least a half chicken breast when you order chicken topping pasta Alfredo. They chop it up so small to appear like you're getting more. The Alfredo sauce was tasteless milk water over pudding consistency noodles. The pizza toppings changed to the pizza hut type meat chunks its just gross. Don't order meatballs on pizza it's disgusting. They're cheap, the quality is GONE. The prices jacked up. We're done. They've lost the magic.

    Stuffed Shrimp are AMAZING!

My husband works down the St. from Gino's and gets lunch to go often. He always tells me how good it is. I happened to have a dentist appt. in Poughkeepsie today. It coincided with his lunch break so we went to Gino's. I didn't know what to expect. As soon as we walked in the door we were met with a friendly greeting. We said we were eating in and the nice girl gave us menu's and said to come up and order when we were ready. We seated ourselves the dining room which was cute and had great pictures on the walls. We decided what we wanted and I went up and ordered the Stuffed Shrimp appetizer, large Sausage pizza and a can of Fanta. Total was $30. and change. She told me she would bring it to us when it was ready. About 10 minutes later we were served the Stuffed Shrimp. It was 3 huge Shrimp with real crab and perfectly seasoned. Served in a chafing dish with a nice garlic butter. The size of the shrimp and the amount of stuffing was astonishing for $7.99. We each had one and took the 3rd home. The pizza arrived moments later and it was delicious. The crust was not too thin or too thick. It was cooked perfectly and dunking my crust in the garlic butter from the Stuffed Shrimp was even better! Tons of sliced sweet sausage and the sauce was perfectly balanced. I couldn't have had a better experience for my first time there. I will definitely be going back. In fact, I am going to cross over the bridge from Highland to get lunch to go tomorrow! I can't wait to try the meatballs and the Fried Dough! My husband said they are both fantastic!!

Vegetarian pzza slice with onions peppers mushrooms broccoli

During the snow.. They delivered less then 45 min and the food is fresh! Bread on the sub crisp and fresh. Steak provolone cheese mushrooms not from the can fresh peppers and onions.. Overfilled and delicious. Veggie pizza slice crispy and fresh too. More then enough for 2. Thank you!!! Deeelicous

You can taste and feel the lack of love in their pizza . Dry tasteless crust , no flavor , no olive oil burnt basil. Disappointment .

I ordered i civilian grandmas pizza ( basil , mozzarella ) pizza was 40 min late , cooked to a crisp , burnt basil with barely any basil DRY as all hell. Cost me $30 . I wan to throw this pizza at the owner . Complete shit business to offer me $2 for a topping credit . Won't be going there ever . If they could cook a margarita pizza siciliano style they should of said that - instead took my $30 and gave me shit . Along with shit service .

I love their gluten free pizza. I'm not sure if they make the crust themselves but it's so good and I haven't gotten sick yet!

The restaurant is a small establishment with street parking only, but we were able to find a spot without too much trouble. Walking in, the atmosphere was pretty simple and straightforward. There wasn't anything particularly memorable about the décor, and it reminded me of a neighborhood bar from the 1980s. That said, it was clean, comfortable, and felt like a casual local spot. The service was one of the highlights of our visit. Everyone was friendly, our order was taken quickly, and the staff was attentive throughout our meal. We both ordered build-your-own pizzas, and while they were good, the crust wasn't quite what we expected. The sourdough crust was actually the thinnest pizza crust I've ever had and didn't have the fermented sourdough flavor or texture I've experienced elsewhere. I was also a little disappointed that there wasn't a vegan cheese option, especially considering the extensive menu and variety of toppings available. That said, the pizzas were enjoyable, but both of us tend to prefer a slightly thicker crust. If you're a fan of ultra-thin crust pizza, Dutch Crown will likely be right up your alley. While it wasn't exactly what we were expecting based on the sourdough description, the friendly service and quality ingredients still made for a pleasant dining experience.

Per usual the Pie was poppin and the beer was served up cold! My only drawback is the state of the restrooms, they are not the cleanest. Signed, The Happy Hour Huntress
