Good clean kid fun here. It was my first time here since I was a kid. The entrance was manned at all times. All parties' wrists were stamped. We had a coupon for $19.99 for one medium 1 topping pizza, 2 drinks and 25 tokens (an extra 5 tokens than the register price.) The website has the coupons, but makes you hunt for them. Also available in coupon mailers. I was pleasantly surprised at the pizza. It tasted way better than I remembered! In my opinion it tasted better than Costco's pepperoni, but not better than Papa John's. Though it seemed to be a bigger than normal sized medium. The medium yielded 10 thin crust slices and was more than enough for 2 adults and 1 4 yr old kid. The pizza tray had the bumps on it (like the one at Killer Pizza from Mars) which definitely kept the crust crispy. Chuck appeared with a sign to follow him for more tokens... they did "If you are happy and you know it clap your hands" song and dance, and then Chuck tossed tickets to the kid crowd. My 4 yr old tyke wasn't assertive enough to nab more than 2 tickets, but a super kind boy (maybe 9yrs old?) impressed me by giving my son some of his tickets! Just wanted to report that yes, some older kids will trample on the little ones, BUT there are some kids that are certainly raised right. :) TIP: if you are playing skee ball, try to use the end one where your tickets are alone, or GRAB YOUR TICKETS as you play. Do not leave them to accumulate - this will tempt little ones who think the tickets are theirs because it is physically closer to where their skee balls are. It's a logical mistake... My hubby didn't have the heart to argue with a little girl who stole the tickets he was winning for our son. sigh. I liked that the person at the front checked all our wrist stamps on our way out. I was here last weekend for a birthday party. I'm an 80's kid and wow...the Chuck E Cheese franchise has changed! I remember dark restaurants that were separated into different rooms, loud music playing and lots of games! It seems they've since adopted a bright open floor plan with limited games and they've eliminated the germy ball pit. Chuck E himself got a makeover too...he's lost a lot of weight, his ears are maybe 5 times larger than they used to be, and he seems to have aged in reverse. At this location, most of the games were not working and yet didn't have signs to indicate they were out of order. I'm just glad we were given unlimited play cards otherwise I'd be pissed if I had paid for the wasted play credits. The full sized animation characters that were supposed to sing Happy Birthday were out of commission as well. How lame is that?!? At least the skinny Chuck E mouse boy was walking around to greet the kids. The only thing they have going for them is that the pizza and wings were decent. I took my family here tonight it's a Saturday night. There were Multiple parties going on. It wasn't too crowed for all the parties that were happening. They were a little short staff (which a lot of places are.) But my Goodness Jack was working the front desk and man people were being soo mean and rude to him. He was SO polite! No matter how angry people were getting. (A lot of people were upset about the food delay but there a lot of parties going on). I was getting upset because how people were treating him. I think people forget or don't care that he is NOT the reason why food is taking to long. He is NOT they guy in the back cooking the food. When it was my turn he greeted me with a smile. Even though I could tell he was a little stress. He was nothing but kind! I feel like all stuff is so underpaid! People don't want jobs like these because of that. I feel like if YOU'RE not putting in an application to work there and help the staff, then you need to be understanding and patient! Jack was soo great! He did an amazing job up front. Another worker saw I was waiting for something (I was waiting for plates) she stopped and asked me if I needed anything. I was so great full she took 3 seconds to grab what I needed. For being short staff everyone was great! My food took a little longer then usual (but again it's a Saturday night and lots of parties) I wasn't upset it was cooked perfectly not burnt or cold. So SHOUTOUT to the COOKS in the back! Thank you guys so much for making the experience great even though you guys were struggling. All staff was in a great mood and ready to help! So I just wanted to go on here and start by saying I had an amazing time my kid had an amazing time and everything went smoothly my expirience at Chuck E. Cheese was amazing!!!! The service! The show the ticket blaster everything! BUT!!!! I just wanted to let you all know if you book a reserved party and you get the 2 hour play pass. THEY DO NOT PAUSE THE REGULAR ONES DO BUT THE ONES INCLUDED IN THE PARTY RESERVATION DO NOT PAUSE YES I GOT RHE MEGA STAR PACKAGE! THE MOST EXPENSIVE ONE ! I was informed of this 1 hour into the party. Not right away. Another thing I did want to mention is I would reccomend doing everything like eating the party and everything pretty much. Before you even start the wrist bands because they will be rushing you to get it done within the 2 hour reservation i only did 4 starts because I didn't like how rushed to do everything on " their " checklist during the 2 hour time frame that the brackets where activated so it took a lot from him playing ended up pretty much forcing us I to a bind and buying MORE time ( which is the point I guess ) but I just wanted to let you guys know I felt it is designed this way to distract you into spending more money but I felt slightly upset I wish I would've just taken everybody else to eat elsewhere and come and just purchased the bands to play and it would've been more affordable and the kids could've taken advantage of the full time. It was super disappointing take into consideration that your 2 hour reservation is exactly that they will try to get you in and out in that 2 hours if you book a birthday party don't start the play bands UNTIL AFTER YOU EAT AFTER THE SHOW AFTER EVERYTHING! My daughter loves going to Chuck E. Cheese. What kid doesn't? As we walked in, you get a stamp that is seen through light when you exit so no one in your group is missing. There were so many kids inside this location. So many games to play. I played a few. One of my favorites is the air hockey game. I played that with my daughter and we had fun. I also played the game where you knock down the clowns that are shaped as pinballs. So much to do. After you play your games, you get tickets to redeem a toy. You can reload your game card or ask for a new one. They also serve pizza and have an all you can eat salad bar for a small fee. I haven't tried the pizza here yet. This place was super clean unlike other locations we have been to. The people here were nice and hard at work. I definitely would come back here. Only negative is the parking. I had a party here for my daughters birthday a few days ago and 15 out of 41 of my family and friends who attended caught the stomach virus!!! 15 people you guys!! That is disgusting and ridiculous! 15 people including little babies at ages 1 and 2 experiencing vomiting, nausea, fever and diarrhea!! A little boy who played games/rides and only had tap water from the pitcher that was served even caught the illness. Babies who didn't eat and just played on the rides even caught it! It's incredibly sad and heartbreaking! I really had higher hopes for CEC and that's why I decided to throw a party there because my 4 years old enjoys playing the games and loves the Chuck e performance! But instead who knew I was going to be paying a lot of money to throw a VIRUS Party and put my babies, my family and friends in all this pain and suffering! It's humiliating and devastating! Not only is the management team at this Chuck E Cheese location and the corporate office not being understanding and apologetic, they lack so many things to keep the public health concerns one of their top priorities. Restrooms were disgusting, no sanitary stations besides the one by the front door, and lack of cleaners to wipe down the equipments especially on a busy day. Apparently Chuck E doesn't walk around anymore..only visits for parties and while other kids are there trying to meet him he just turns around and changes out of costume and doesn't give any other kids the time of day and makes them cry. I know, I am writing about CEC... But really, it was raining today and keeping two 5 year old boys and their 7 year old sister locked up in the house was not an option. So, coupon time off the net - 160 tokens for $30 and an all you can eat salad bar for $5 and three and a half hours later the kids were happy. My 4 year old girl loved her birthday party here. You have a two hour window to play games, eat food, a birthday song, time with Chuck E., and air blaster, then kids went for more game time. Food was fine. It's pizza and kids loved it. That's all that mattered to me. Kids are well taken care of. Kids all get a play card with at least 30 tokens loaded and ready to go. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because our kids had fun...until both our girls got sick after visiting on October 14. 1. The cleanliness in this establishment is terrible. You'd think for a kids place they would keep it much cleaner and sanitized. It had food everywhere and the games were filthy, I had to try my best to wipe down surfaces...which obviously didn't help. 2. Many of the games did not release tickets when we won the game which was not cool. 3. We were able to walk out without being verified by the front door person which was really unprofessional and scary..this place would let anyone leave with your kid. 4. They have a bunch of young kids who could care less about the place and that's why this place suxks and we wont be back 5. Dont know if it's a coincidence..our youngest daughter ended up getting HFMD and was hospitalized after coming to this chuck e cheese..it was very bad. Still going through it. Spent 2 days at hospital. It's very contagious and I believe was picked up from chuck e cheese because it's the only place we've taken her with other children. 6. Now, I'd heard really bad things about the pizza, and while it's not on the level of, oh, say, Pizzeria Luigi, this does the trick. Can't go wrong with the Supreme, and the pepperoni pizza wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The chicken wings were tasty, even if they needed a bit more spice. But, what surprised me were the sandwiches. Granted, they were cut to suit little fingers, but the ciabatta bread was delicious, and the fillings were quite good. Also, this is the first soda bar I've seen in Southern California that stocked Mello Yello... but after trying it for the first time, I realized I liked Mountain Dew a lot better. They have a wide range of games & many that are old school as well as with the times (aka tech savvy). Games are expensive considering each token is ¢25 & many take 2+ tokens. My kids have never been a fan of Chuck E. Cheese's, they hate Chuck E. and they're afraid of him, the tunnels for them to climb in is a little too claustrophobic for them, and my daughter never cared for the pizza. However, when one of my girlfriend's had her son's birthday here, we went and this location is much cleaner, not as loud and rowdy (maybe it was the time of day, not sure) and they had sandwiches for the adults to enjoy that wasn't as bad as the pizza. Carlos was an exceptional in every possible way on 08/08/2021. I queried him about downloading the cell app as well as applying credits from our previous visit late last June. He thoroughly and (more importantly) patiently explained how to access the bronze level deals and apply the credits from our previous visits by converting them into points using the scan feature and manual entry features. I might add that he kept his eye on customer safety in the immediate surrounding and was also multi-tasking with at least four separate birthday celebrations on the premises at the same time. I know it's a Chuck E Cheese and when we came here for our little boy's entertainment, I felt like I was giving in to the video game monster. However, my son is a total American kid who loves too much T. V. and now has figured out video games are the best thing ever. So much for the great trips to the bookstore we used to have :(. He has moved on now and books are no longer cool (except at night when we read to him). In any case, my son absolutely loved this place. $5 and he spent an easy hour and a half playing with his dad and collecting tickets to turn in for prizes. Chuck E Cheese is not the first place his dad has taken him to for this sort of play. There is a similar, if smaller and pricier, game place up in the Escondido Mall. At a quarter per game, Chuck E Cheese is a really good deal, there are plenty of games, and it was clean and spacious. I can't comment on the food as we didn't order any, but I wouldn't be coming here for the food in any case. I may spend the money and hold my son's next birthday here. He would love it and so would his friends. I can't say I totally approve of it as a mom who only wants the best for her kid, but at least he spent quality time with his dad and had fun. It's not about having fun as a parent or caregiver... you bring your kids here bc THEY have fun and THEY love it. They run around, check out each game, scream for joy when receive their tickets, tap on all the buttons even if they didn't pay for the game, and get on all the moving rides. An hour and half later, my sweaty 3 yr old son had to be dragged to our table to be forced to eat his fries & nuggets. Food wasn't bad although it took over 30 min to get our food on a non-busy Wednesday afternoon. The manager rang up my order total incorrectly and over charged me, but she promptly fixed it. I also printed out additional coupons from the chuck e cheese website to save more money. I've been to so many Chuck E Cheese's since I was a little girl, not much has changed except for the games. Came here with my two sons because of an online coupon this location was advertising. The coupon stated unlimited game play for $12/hour, any day and time of the week. When I got to the location, the manager stated he couldn't find the coupon on his computer. Even after showing him the coupon on my phone he said he couldn't honor it. I took my 2 1/2 year old grandson here for the first time ever! He had sooo much fun and the young adults that were working, tried very hard to keep things running smoothly. You can tell they were on the younger side and for most of them probably their first job. If you can swing a weekday you won't regret it! We had the entire party area to ourselves vs. a weekend you have 5-6 parties going at the same time! There are 3 levels of party pricing... STAR (basic package) $15.99 per child SUPER STAR (better value) $20.99 per child MEGA SUPER STAR (best value) $25.99 per child After carefully deliberating which package to choose I ultimately went with the MEGA...I felt like it was the best value as it comes with UNLIMITED PLAY! No child wants to walk up to a game machine and be disappointed that they don't have enough tokens to play. Plus the mega package came with sooooo many extras like a pull pinata which the kids loved, really I mean REALLY good goodie bags, and dippin dots ice cream which is always a hit! Every package comes with two slices of pizza per child which leaves plenty of leftovers for the adults! I am glad I didn't order too much extra food for the adults. I did order one XL supreme pizza and a party wings tray and it was more than enough! I also ordered a basic chocolate round cake ($10) from Chuck Cheese for the adults and brought my own custom cake for the kiddos. Our party host, Michelle did a great job keeping the party flowing. The 2 hours will fly by! Also the party manager, Vickie was such a joy to work with. She made everything so easy for me and truly took the stress out of throwing a party! This Chuck E Cheese is located in Mira Mesa near the 25 freeway. It's in the shopping center with Trader Joes When you walk in, there's a worker who gives the adults and kids the same stamps so the kids leave with the right adult. Safety first! It's a bit dirty and old looking when you walk in. They have a birthday area/ stage for big parties. Then they have regular booths if you want to eat here. What's good about this place is that you can play here without paying an entrance fee or dining in. To play games, you need to get tokens. There is a machine that takes cash or credit card to get the tokens. It's $10 for 30 tokens and $20 for 80 tokens. Unfortunately, if you want to redeem $20 using $10 bills, you only get the $10 conversion. Games are really targeted for young kids. Most only need 1 token. Ticket pay out is small. Prizes to redeem tickets are ok. Regardless, the kids loved it and they want to go back. read more

My kids love this place!!! There are so many kid friendly games. When you come in they stamp your hands for everyone in your family. When you leave they check the number on your hands to make sure they are all the same. If they are not the same they won't let you leave. Nice to make sure people are not leaving with random kids. The pizza here is really good. Probably one of the best that I have had. They also have wings, sandwiches, and a salad bar. The price is not that bad either. A lot of my friends with little kids have their kids birthday party here. They have a little show for the birthday celebrant. All kids are either super happy or terrified to see Chucky when he comes out. Now here is the dirty...haha..when you do come in here be prepared to get a whiff of cheese and feet. If you come during peak hours, there can be kids running a muck. If you have kids you may be used to this...but no kids people...this may overwhelm you...you have been warned...haha kidding. I would understand on a Tuesday afternoon. Also 50% if he games are out of order, the animatronics are broken and the bathrooms are always a mess. I don't know if it's a staffing issue or what. My friend and I went yesterday and ordered a small personal pizza, which said on the menu has 6 slices (like any other pizza joint like dominos or Pizza Hut) and a salad bar plate. We get the pizza and it's literally a pita bread size. The slice is literally about 1 and a half inch. It was almost 13 dollars. For a pizza for a baby. The medium seemed a little bigger, but 18 dollars for a veggie pizza that's so small? You got to be tripping babygirl. Now the salad bar, literally boiled eggs that are so hard will bounce off and hit you back in the head if you throw them at someone. They're so hard they would literally give you a concussion. The cantaloupe was so hard it almost broke my jaw, and literally tasted so old. That was 9 dollars. For not even dollar store quality veggies. I'm so disappointed. DO NOT GO HERE! First of all they do NOT clean or sanitize to keep the place safe and germ free for your kids. Especially during covid they should be wiping machines down and taking any precaution to keep a safe environment. My kids got sick 2 days after going and they didn't go anywhere else except there.
